and 24-hours after that. Only when I lodged a complaint with the Telecommunications Ombudsman did I get a reply. Apparently, I was to blame as I didn’t “guess” when I was reconnected. Whatever happened to good ol’ customer service? Where the company cares about their customers and provides a professional service. Instead of the customer having to chase the company. I went back to a prior NBN provider, who actually cares for their customers, and keeps them updated on everything.
Highly Recommend – There were issues with the NBN activation for a customer. The team at Australia On-Line kept me informed of the progress with regular phone calls. I have used Australia On-Line since 2019 & have been extremely satisfied with their service, particularly with their prompt communication. I have no hesitation in recommending them to my customers, family & friends. Show details
Happy Customer – Highly recommend Australia On Line. Have been with them for a year, and would not consider going anywhere else. Sensational customer service – We moved to Warrandyte about 3 yrs ago and up until that point had been dedicated Telstra customers for our internet requirements. After being let down badly by Telstra multiple times Michael and AOL was recommended to us and we have never looked back. Their customer service is second to none ! Grateful user – After a car took out a power pole across the Avenue from us, we were thrown into a world of sirens and blackness. Six hours later, power was back but no internet service. A call to Australia on Line and my fault reported to NBN and within hours my downed line was reconnected. reasonable cost. My monthly invoice is usually around $40-$55. Late last night, I emailed AOL Support because I had an issue. By 7:40am this morning, Support had returned my email, and started investigating the problem. Later today, I discovered that the drop-outs were a problem with my own handset - it was not a problem with AOL at all! Nevertheless, they were totally courteous and kind, and they didn't make me feel small over my own silly mistake. On each occasion that I have been in contact with them, nothing has ever been too much trouble for the AOL Support team. I hold them in very high esteem for their courteous, professional, prompt and kind interactions. And of course the internet and phone service, and its price are excellent too. Thank you AOL. Great service - I highly recommend this ISP – The customer service from Australia Online has been excellent throughout the 10+ years they have been serving as my ISP. The connection speed has been in line with the package I pay for. Difficult problem resolved with patience – Michael was able to pinpoint that the modem was not ineffective but that NBN contractors who had been working at a pit next door five days ago were the culprits. service, they were able to successfully lobby NBN to provide service to fix the fault which was in the street. Twice.
It’s fantastic to speak to the same people at AOL each time I have called. They even followed up on matters to see if things were OK. This is such a contrast to Telstra landline calls for help where each fault took several frustrating calls of up to one hour with an overseas call centre, and no result until escalation led to a visit from a technician.
I think when it comes NBN provider you should choose a small company. I recommend AOL.
Excellent service – I contacted Michael by email as Telstra had an issue with the NBN "again" and I was not sure what was happening. I had hit a few reset buttons which was my big lesson for the day," don't" and Michael was on the phone assisting me through the set up process and getting back online in no time. Could not fault their service – From our first phone call in regard to having no internet, to the personal service of Michael attending our home, and Kevin patiently dealing with us at 9pm on the phone, it was speedy and very professional. Excellent service and clear independent advice provided without any sales pressure. Direct opposite to Telstra & NBN – Provided all the advice I needed to understand the process and options available to me when I initially connected to NBN. They do not require a contract term. details. Not like Telstra where I waited for hours on end to get incorrect information . Had an unfortunate situation where another service provider kept disconnecting me from NBN because of a neighbors confused address. Australia on Line followed up immediately and restored the service on three occasions even though they incurred a fee to them from NBN. Very satisfied with the service. I will never go back to Telstra or any of its multitude of offshoots.

Fantastic Service 10 stars – I cannot speak highly enough of this company. They had me up and running with wifi about an hour after I placed an order. Great Service – Prompt installation service and support from a local company, speed is so much better than the mobile data we put up with for so long in this mobile and land line blackspot. This basic NBN 12 speed plan give us good general internet access and high quality Netflix etc. most times even peak, down load speeds are around 10-12mbs, upload can be a bit slow on this plan. Service to the Cash Strapped – I was with another provider. I was paying for 10GB per month. When the NBN came on, this was no longer enough. However, they only had 10GB or 100GB. straight forward language, whenever I speak with them. I have not had any service problems since I have been with them and I trust that that is going to remain this way. I would recommend them any time to any person for personal or business use. And I have not heard a negative word about them.
