Just not good enough Auspost!
With everyone doing online shopping at the moment I understand that Auspost is swamped and not coping. Parcels are taking a very long time to deliver. What I find very hard to accept, though, is that they are constantly being delivered to the wrong address, and then there is no follow-up to complaints being lodged. I have recently bought four new signs for my property which clearly show the number and street name, and have placed these signs at every door, gate and walls to make it easy for the postie to find. I keep receiving texts to say that...the parcel has been delivered. On query, I then receive a photo of someone else's front door or gate which are clearly not mine! The onus is then on me to track down the parcel. If I place a query on their tracking site I never hear back from them. I have no exterior walls or fences and the house and address are clearly visible from the street and I cannot fathom why all my parcels are being delivered elsewhere.
Very poor customer service! Beware the red street parcel box when sending! AVOID at all cost!!!
Very poor customer service! There is no uploading tool and they refused to watch my video or screenshot links i sent them with no reasons! I posted a return parcel in the red box that put in the street, and there was no scanning after the bag was collected, its been 5 days since i posted but no updates from the tracking, as it did not get scanned at all. I go to customer service for help and they literally cannot do anything, keep saying sorry! And stupid AliExpress returning only gave their customers such a very little time to deliver back to ...them make me so frustrated! I live in fear and nervous everyday that the parcel will get lost or wont get delivered before the stupid countdown time, since no one will take responsibilities after you dropped it off at the stupid red box! Hello guys, this is 21st century, street parcel boxes do not even have a scanning machine there to drop you a lodgement proof, why we dont even have it, we are in a developed country and we are in technology era, and we should improve the posting system! Shamed on Australia Post! Shamed! Very poor street parcel collection system and very poor customer service system! They don't care since you are very little among billion customers they have! It will be the first and last time i use that stupid red box! I had no choice to use since there were more than 20 people waiting in line! If i ever known it was such the worse system, i would never bother and wait in line instead! Beware street parcel box! AVOID at all cost!!!
This is now the 5th delivery where I've received notification that Aus Post couldn't leave the parcel in a safe place (even though I've requested this). Parcels can easily & safely be left outside my apartment door as it is off the road, under cover and not in a thoroughfare. What about the times I order something large and it gets dropped at the local post office? How would I get a large item home? Would I have to arrange another delivery vehicle to get it home? Feeling frustrated and I wish more companies would have the option of selecting an alternative courier company that will follow written instructions!
I sent my parcel in on Saturday and still its just sitting there. Should only take 1-2 days to dispatch. At least get it on the truck or something. Ridiculous.
Can't believe these clowns are still in business. Last 3 years Auspost has changed so much. Delivery times so inconsistent. They blame the pandemic and lock-downs but these have not affected other couriers. Been getting all my deliveries on time except for Auspost ones. 1 month from Sydney to Sydney. what a joke.
I ordered two items online on the 27th of August from Singapore. One of them was delivered as expected but the second is somewhere in AusPost Nirwana. I have contacted the supplier and I got the detailed timetable of the parcel delivery. The local post office was not able to find any information about the parcel even when the tracking number of the parcel was given to them.
It was suggested to me to register online complin, and I followed the suggestion but another 4 days and nothing.
8 days and waiting - delivery from Sydney to Gosford
Can someone please explain why two small parcels have been sitting at a depot in Sydney for 8 days with no movement? Yes there is a pandemic but seriously - the pandemic has been around now for over 12 months and this is not an excuse. If there is a staffing problem at one depot then everything should be moved to another depot. Looking at the reviews though that doesn't seem to be the issue. What is more frustrating is Aus Post seems to think there is no problem with indicating that there are delays but having no KPI to meet. ie whenever we get around to delivering. The issue now is i also won't be ordering from the company i bought the goods from again if they continue to use Aus post as their delivery provider
Australia Post have no idea where suburbs are located
This is how Australia Post organizes a parcel from Melbourne to Melbourne. It leaves Melbourne, goes to Adelaide and ten back to Melbourne. Now sitting in Ferntree Gully. Expecting the parcel to go to NSW soon and then maybe back to Melbourne for another go.

Nearly 4 weeks, still waiting!! Update, arrives today, 27 days later.
Item posted at Horsley Park NSW 25th August, going to Lithgow NSW, only 111km, 27 days for delivery, same old excuse like everyone else on this review page, blame Covid!!......
Terrible is just the word for Aus Post.
If there was a worst word than terrible, i would use it. They dont wait you long enough outside your door, there were many time i run out and see the delivery truck driving away. Hopeless.
Australia Post is a national disgrace. I waited 3 weeks for a parcel to come from Regents Park to Kiama. The sender posted it two days after I ordered it and Auspost said it had been received and awaiting processing. They had it for 2 weeks before the tracking even moved, and then they stopped accepting parcels for 3 days, to clear the backlog, what a joke. It' about time that they stopped using covid as an excuse, and did something about their appalling service. Lets have UPS or FedEx here to give Australians a reliable postal service. I beli...eve there should be a public inquiry into the running of AustPost. Further to posting this I now have 2 more parcels that Austpost have had for 2 weeks, and now they are telling me that one of them could be another 14days before delivery. Australia deserves better than these incompetent fools.
Worst ever delivery experience, snails move faster than them.
Domestic delivery from Victoria to Sydney.
4 weeks of waiting time and still not yet delivered at time of writing.
Auspost blamed it on Covid-19 delay, but a delay of 1-2 weeks is acceptable, 4 weeks and not yet delivered, they refused to declare loss and just want to keep delaying and delaying so I will item about the item and won’t claim the lost. Smart move.
Where is all the mail?
I am missing a parcel posted on the 26th of LAST month! Unfortunately its worth $846.55.
From reading all these terrible reviews, there seems to be a HUGE chunk of mail missing for anything posted within the fortnight proceeding the 25th of August? Seems like it to me....
My eParcel only needed to travel 348kms to reach me.
I would of traveled the round trip to 'click and collect' it, had I understood it would never be delivered.
When politely asking where it is?? sadly, I have received nothing but the same scripted, unhelpful, rhetoric res...
Australia post making hearts break
I had to watch a junior employee today in tears tell a customer of ours and inform her a Birthday present she spent months saving up for and ordered from our company with weeks notice learn that her bday package for her child hadn't even left Sydney after 2 weeks, just so sad and depressing. For a true failure we shipped this to her on the 30/08/21 and it still has left the Sydney depot. Poor mom, no presents for her kid.
Item marked as delivered nothing at address.
Australia Post has marked my item as delivered when getting home to check from my post nothing at all was there, I would like to say I'm not surprised by this the company as they cannot do anything right (pasted issues), the fact of the matter is that is was $10 ear phone replacement pads and the have effectively lost them.
Updated: Here is the photo of Australia Post safe place please enjoy everyone.
I have now open two tickets now with Australia Post and I will need if they capable of responding at all.
