Should change name to Australia Lost instead, what a shame
Such a shameful operation, lazy and dishonest, numerous time parcel just go missing, when they manage to get the parcel to the other end, driver simply doesn't want to do their job. Countless time my customer report no attempt of delivery and then force customer to pick up.
I just laugh at this company.The place I ordered is 30km away from me and I waited 6 days for my order to arrive.

Parcel traveling around Australia
Hm, I have a parcel sent through express post on Wednesday morning 9th September from St George QLD. Parcel arrives to Melbourne early morning Friday 11th September ( yeeey) , just to be sent to Strathfield NSW on Sunday morning 13th, and that last scanning is showing it’s sitting in Alexandria NSW since Tuesday 15th September. Today is the 17th September and still no movement, they say express post is their priority during this COVID-19 crisis. I do understand. But yesterday when I went to post office to ask if they could tell me what is goi...ng on with my parcel, they lady checked the tracking number and said , oh, yes, some time they do that , if the parcel is coming from QLD, they bring it to Melbourne and then they take it to NSW before it comes to Melbourne ( again). I think she had no idea what is she talking about. Yeah, at least, my parcel is traveling around since we in Victoria are not allowed to. Btw, the regular post from NSW sent same day has arrived yesterday. Interesting.

Don’t pay for express post via AusPost. It won’t ever get to you on time. I know with the pandemic stuff is slow but when I order something onAug 11, Aug 15, Aug 28, and they’ve had it in hand since a week later, it’s a little disconcerting that nothing has happened, it hasn’t been moved or update on tracking for over a month. Their “live chat” is a dumb bot who just tells me live chat is unavailable so you have to send an email. I also rang multiple times only to get patched through and HUNG UP ON. I then went into my local post office where...I was told NO. ONE. CAN. HELP. ME. WHAT. SO. EVER. I have multiple packages out right now, all of them over a month old. I am on the cusp of being in trouble with work over this and Auspost refuse to help !! DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT use AusPost if you want your packages to either be on time, be in good condition OR in fact it seems like even show up these days. I’ll also drop this one in, I had 1 package delivered last week (Funny story is this was package # 4/4 and was also delivered the quickest... what?) and watched as the person threw it from the pavement to the front door as he couldn’t see me in the spare room window. They really are a terrible service and I’ll never use them if I have the chance, I’d rather pay the extra money and go to someone trustworthy and on time. This has happened consistently over years but being told literally no one can help me via phone, email OR in person that I’ve decided enough is enough and a review was definitely in order.

Last 3 orders ive had one was a mobile phone sent express from Sydney to melbourne took 2 weeks another was a 200 year old newspaper sent express from melbourne to melbourne 16 days before i got it one im waiting on now was sent 3 weeks ago from new Zealand to Melbourne took 3 days to get to Melbourne and has been sitting at the depot in melbourne ever since
Unable or not equipped to handle crisis
Due to lthe ockdown, my mail has either delayed(2w), lost (unable to trace) or something else. Australia Post management is inexperienced and absolutely careless. Being a multi million dollar organisation, it's embarassing to witness how they have served the Victorian customers. Big shots you step down and give the job to someone who can serve customers when the circumstances are not ideal.
My issue is the inconsistency with Aust post it can take 3 days or 3 wks when the item is been sent from Melbourne suburb to Melbourne suburb, I had to send something to Bendigo and to insure it didn’t take 3 wks I paid express $17 and still I’m told no guarantee and I left wondering what I paid for there’s plenty of people out of work perhaps Australia post should employ some in order to offer better customer service.
Booked Priority Mail from US with USPS and still waiting for delivery.
Unless you keep entering 0 on the automated phone service it took multiple calls to get on hold to speak with someone. It is now Thursday afternoon and the last tracking record is on Tuesday.
Their website show 1 day delivery from Queensland to Melbourne. I believe this is false advertising and frustrating for the community. I want to know where my property is and when will it be delivered.
I just spoke with someone from Aus post and they assert only standard mail is used for this service. Seems odd that it is 6-10 business days from th...e US and then a normal service here? Don't charge express if you can't deliver
Bought a new computer monitor and thought it would be a good idea to get express shipping, knowing that the postal system isn't doing too well right now.
Terrible idea, the parcel hasn't even moved in 5 days and other family members have received items with STANDARD SHIPPING before my express order had even left the depot.
Horrible scammy company, would give zero stars if I could.
Aus post, don't even bother replying to this because I already know I'm going to get some useless vague reply.
Don’t get express post
Due to COVID restrictions in vic and not being able to go more than 5km from home, postage is the only way to get stuff out of the 5 km Radius. Ordered stuff from western suburbs and needed it delivered to eastern suburbs, been 3 weeks and it’s still not here. Thanks to AUS post tracking, I can see where it is so I know it hasn’t been stolen.

It makes me sick that Christine Holgate and other executives will be reaping huge bonuses while cutting stuff pay and hours on what is a failed service. I hope Auspost goes completely bankrupt, they’re a disgrace, execs should be hung
Why did I pay for express postage when standard is faster!
During this time of lockdown in Melbourne, I’ve placed a number of online orders (5 total) which have been shipped through Australia Post, all with just standard postage. Without fail, each standard post order has arrived within 3-4 business days, even when coming from interstate, including an order I made only 2 weeks ago during stage 4.
So why oh why, when I finally decide to fork out and pay for express shipping on something for it to get here a bit quicker, does the post take days longer! It’s absolutely absurd, I understand COVID is affe...cting the service, but why is the EXPRESS service running slower than standard. I still haven’t received my package and it’s been a week since it was sent, still apparently sitting in the same place it was originally posted. Don’t waste your money like I did, there’s clearly no actually priority in place.

Aust Post is taking up to 5 working days to delver .We pay the high prices for quicker delivery .Their revenue has also increased significantly and the executives are getting bonuses as well.
In addition mail deliver will be every second day .
These are breaches of contract.I am sure that these parcels can be delivered by road freight overnight rather then relying on flights .This will be much quicker.

I wish I could give them no star but they won’t allow, worst worst customer service and delivery, happens few time and they don’t have any solid reason for anything, showing my parcel had been delivered but nobody knows, they want to take up-to five business to solve the problem.... I would never recommend someone to use Australia post at all or under any circumstance, it’s still doubtful if they (drivers) can read actual address or not or they just want to get the job done doesn’t matter how they are doing... but my disappointment with Australian post is on another level ..... very very awful and disappointed service every time ....

Why are you still charging people express post options if you can’t actually deliver? On your website it states “we can not guarantee express post time frame but express will still be prioritised” but now I’m reading express post is up to 10 business days for vic? Post between local Melbourne suburbs via NSW?
The parcel was sent out on 24th August from Forest Hill Vic 3131 to Laverton Vic 3028. Today we check it and find out it was in Sydney on the 26th, and Chullora NSW on the 27th, then 31st back to Melbourne again, now still on the way. Post office is short of jobs or too many jobs to do? The same thing happened a few weeks ago, a parcel sent to Geelong travelling to Queensland for a week then back to Victoria again.

Signed up with Aussie Broadband. Was told delivery time for wireless router from Melbourne. Delivery said Friday. Turned up today, Monday, early at 2pm with a smiling Indian fella right in my driveway. He was courteous, followed Covid distancing and off he went. When sh*t goes wrong I'll tell you. Same as when sh*t goes right, I'll tell you. These days are just crap for everyone aren't they though with everything that everyones been through over just the past couple of years. Here's one of the better days.

Where is my express post parcel???? Posted on Friday 21/8. Was expecting by Tuesday 25/8. Still waiting for an update. Tracking stopped on Friday 21/8 now with no ETA.
I understand COVID is slowing down your services, but I thought express post would still be delivered faster. It has now been 6 business days and my express item from Sydney to Melbourne is no where to be found. Poor service Auspost. I don’t recommend your services even out of a pandemic. I quite often have express post delivered 1 day late when everything is running normal.
Absolute and utter joke (but not funny)
My "express post" delivery has been travelling all over the countryside, like the Leyland Brothers, for the past *ten days*. I am four suburbs away from the actual shop it was sent from (I could drive there right now in 20 minutes if I was allowed to!) The parcel is currently in a Sydney suburb, but according to tracking, it's going to arrive here in suburban Melbourne today. Of course it is.
I know there's a pandemic on. I understand there are delays and I expect them. I know everyone's doing their best and I also know nothing could be more t...rivial than my $9.00 item (for which I paid $18.00 delivery) But this morning I received a delivery shipped from London (the one in the UK) 3 (that's three) days ago. London is nearly 17,000 km away. Hmmmmm.
I sent a letter from Sydney last Friday 21st Aug by express post to Melbourne, and 1 week later the tracker tells me that it has arrived in the Melbourne region, but still not delivered to the intended destination.
What lousy service by Aust Post. I paid $7.45 for a service that is supposed to be delivered to the destination by next business day. Why is Aust Post charging this ridiculous fee when they are not able to deliver as they should. I am tied of hearing that the Corona Virus has slowed down their service. If they are charging this rate for the service then they should be making it happen instead of using excuses such as this. Other businesses are meeting demands in this challenging time, so why is Aust Post failing miserably?

I have checked our internal tracking site and, the first scan was recorded this Monday (14th Sept). The estimated delivery time frame is covering up to 1st Oct. As the parcel is a registered one (sender instructed us to take signature on delivery), we will leave a collection card at the PO Box and, you have to collect it from the post shop counter by showing a valid ID.
