9 days for an express post package to go from Brisbane to Melbourne after being sent back to Brisbane for no reason, then sent to and from Melbourne Airport THREE times. call back. The parcel was not delivered they said there was no safe place to leave the parcel then they said that they couldn’t leave their motorbike and walk to the unit door and deliver it. Two different stories for the same delivery. The lady in the unit Next Door has 5 to 7 parcels per week delivered without any problem. I feel that the gang Lang stalking which has previously been going on for 26 years has a lot to do with this at the facility where they sort the mail spoke to [Name Removed] the so-called manager after five days and she says that there is no service that they can pick up the parcel from the post office and take it to an 86-year-old woman I think it’s disgusting. They are so rude to talk to. No one calls you back. You can’t get anywhere. Or get anyone to talk to. You have to like it or lump it. You pay $15-$17 express mail and it doesn’t even get to the destination. They come up with excuse after excuse after excuse something has to be done about this disgusting terrible service for express post with Australia Post it does not exist most of the time. They are just too lazy to get their a** of the bike to take the package up to the door, its disgusting! After a few hiccups 2 years ago, the service has been excellent. Easy to use the app, delivery always on time, including interstate and overseas parcels, when directed to Australia post. I posted a small parcel express post with keys in it on a Tuesday afternoon from a Melbourne suburb to a Brisbane suburb. The tracking said it would be delivered by Friday or the following Monday but it was delivered by the next morning (Wednesday). Too many times now have I been home and a package should be delivered, but instead of a knock at the door, or ringing of the doorbell, they just send a text saying 'attempted delivery' and take it straight tot he post office without even trying. About as bad as the private contractors at this stage. three days. When I tried to track where it was via the phone number they provide, it didn't even accept that I had that tracking number and instead kept referring to some other companies tracking number that had absolutely nothing to do with me either as a sender or receiver.

When I finally was able to speak with an actual person at Aust Post they advised me to ring back the next day. Still no information about why it was sitting at their depot.

When I logged a complaint about the late delivery on their website, I kept getting emails from their staff that obviously hadn't even read the complaint as stated on their own website.

I had one email ask me to provide proof that I purchased the Express Post package and signature confirmation on delivery, despite the fact they had the tracking number and I screen shot the info showing it was 3 days late, yet Aust post provide no means for you to send them anything but a text message. You cannot reply to their emails as they say this option isn't available.

When I actually listed that fact in the updated complaint no one ever responded or acknowledged that fact.

Its been weeks now and still no response from Aust post complaints section.

I have now referred this to the ombudsman.

Outstandingly poor service all around at every stage, on delivery, their phone service, their app, their lack of customer service, their lack of providing a mechanism to provide the info they ask for, and finally the lack of response over all.

I would rate them zero Stars if that was possible.

For a company that is 217 years old its pretty trash. They refuse to take mail from certain places even though the mail passed through customs with no issue or comes from a reputable local business. I don't have a mail box so I need auspost to do the one thing it was built for, to take mail so I can pick it up!!! What happened to express post? Used to be very quick, usually next day for same city or three days for interstate rural but now it's upto a week for interstate and rural. Sydney taking two days but lately it's a week, when it should be three at most, I should drive there it would be much quicker considering the car gets 1100km to a full tank. This company has lost its drive to deliver anything on time, just look at the debacle with Brisbane Australia post where the drivers were doing parcel swaps in the parks. This is not right Australia post you should be ashamed. Your top bosses get paid way too much yet cut costs with services and still charge a premium for something that takes the same time as regular post. I have boycotted Australia snail mail and have started using other , far more reliable companies that actually care.

I sent a small parcel from Perth to Hobart. Unfortunately, on this occasion, I have had a disappointing experience this time. It took 9 days , express post, from Cottesloe (Perth) WA, to Huntingfield (Hobart) TAS. That's way too long. In addition, the live chat to follow up was also frustrating.
