Good old Customer Service
I was waiting for a parcel sent Express Post from Queensland to Sydney which never arrived. It was an important item - however it seems to have vanished. I contacted Australia Post after tracking my parcel with still 'on board for delivery' for many days. Even though I was really upset with the missing parcel Australia Post were quick to find a resolution with phone calls and emails. Customer Service were polite, sympathetic and delved deeply into the sequence of the parcel movements. Speaking to a real person is what makes all the difference ...especially when so many companies use automated responses to problems which is very frustrating. I ended up having a good old chat to Customer Service - good old customer service. Mistakes are made and errors happen but thank you for your quick response and professionalism. I have always been happy with Australia Post and this incident just confirmed how Aussie Post will help to rectify any problem. And our Posties are some of the best in the world.
Sent item with express post October 7th it now 15th of October currently still has not arrived at its destination !! No updates to the tracking website till I went in and spoke to them told me it would be there friday and its now Tuesday terrible service, what type of express post is this ?
Not a happy customer
I sent an express parcel to a girl in NSW for a dress that she was hiring. I sent it on Monday the 7th of October via express post as she needed it by the 10th of October. She never received the parcel, and i lost $150 as she was unable to wear the dress as it didnt arrive. The tracking history says it left inglewood post office and has not updated for over a week! How can express post take so long and noone seems to know where it is? I am one very unhappy customer!
Every time Got delivery on time and can track the delivery service aswell as we get notifications when the packages are delivered and dispatched,
Good customer service experience loved it and will use often
Great service. On time delivery. I have order online and got the item super fast.
SMS notification is good one. Parcel was in good condition and no damages. Hope to continue with their service.
The reviewer stated that an incentive was offered for this review
I order online items all the time and Australia post always deliver super fast. I ordered a bridesmaid proposal box from an online store which I advise them I needed by a certain date (I did order this 3 weeks before I needed it).
The vendor advised it was shipped on Friday a week before I need it as I paid for express post I expected it to be their in a few days. On Wednesday I rung Australia post to ask about my package as the only tracking update was received by Australia Post on the Tuesday. The man I spoke to was super helpful and apologies as the supplier had sent it via road freight and also didn't delivered it to Asutralia Post until the Tuesday.
Australia Post cost me $900 and my customer $1000s
Three boxes (postage cost $321) sent at the same time, Express Post with clear signature, correct payment and Express Post tape put on by post offices arrive one week later, rather than overnight. Each box was insured for $400 each. They should have arrived in plenty of time. My customer needed these printed programmes for a musical that was on over three days. They arrived when the show had finished. Not only did they not have their event programmes they also lost $1000s in print sponsorship. Australia Post says it is their fault - but will on...ly pay postage costs. My total loss is around $900. Plus the weekend it took for two people to put the programme together. I am a small business that works from home and my customer is part of a musical society that gives up their free time, neither of us can afford this loss. I use your service daily and this is how you treat a loyal customer. What are the point of your Express Post and your insurance? Just another big Australia bully!! And I have to click a star to rate!!

Express Post Delayed ~ Receiver's Post Code Is Within The Guaranteed Next Day Delivery Network
I have sent a customer's order, tracking number 99701969899801004960909, on the 16th of September 2019 and up to today it is still showing as in transit. I rang up Australia Post and spoken to Daniel, and he offered compensation (only to the costs the item, not the total value of the item) as he think it might be lost.
I then proceed to send a replacement to customer via Express on the 1st Of October 2019 as she has been waiting for her order for more than 14 days now. The tracking is 99701994603201004980902, I lodge it in a LPO within the cut...-off time for the Express Post, and up until today (which is two days), it still shows as "In Transit". I feel like you guys are messing with me with this delivery, as the first one was missing, and the second one via Express was delayed. The receiver's post code is well within the Express Post Guaranteed Network as well. Can someone / supervisor or manager look into this matter for me, as at this point, I feel like I am just going to apologise and refund the customers the full amount of her purchase.
I ordered a product last Friday and I have already received it considering we had a long weekend. I am always happy with Australia Posts great service and never have problems.
The parcel from Melbourne to Adelaide arrived the next day around 5pm as per express service. Delivery man very polite. Package in good condition. All went well. Thanks Aus post.

Express Post took four days to deliver
I sent a letter by express post to Canberra at 10.06 am on Thursday, 26 September 2019 at Australia Post, Sunnybank, to Canberra. The counter staff assured me that the express letter will reach the recipient in Canberra on Friday. Furthermore on the website Australia Post guarantees next day delivery. The letter did not turn up at the destination on Friday despite repeated tracking. The system kept on saying that it was under processing. I went to enquire the Australia Post at Sunnybank at 10.00 am on Monday, 30 September 2019. The counter staf...f told me the letter was still with the driver in Canberra. I told him this is not good enough and he offered me another express post envelope as compensation. I told him I do not need another envelope, instead I would appreciate a refund of the postage as I had paid a pricey postage and Australia Post failed to deliver the express post letter the next day. He refused to make the refund. So what does Australia Post mean by guarantee delivery the next day ?
Why pay express post?
I paid for express post and it's not delivered after two days, the tracking says delayed.... Where can i get a refund? This is crap!
It's the 3rd time i have paid Australia post extra for express post and they deliver as if, it was normal post. Never again.

Failed to deliver but claim they have.
The tracking advise is that the item has been delivered but this is not true. We have a reception that receives all courier and mail items and the item was not delivered as claimed. The process to correct this is terrible and is in contrast to the "Express Post" labeling of the service. Aus post regularly delivers the wrong mail to us which we return or take to the owner (next door), I can only assume my package is in someone elses hands. There is no sign on receipt process, this is a flaw. There should be some record of the address this package was delivered and signature on receipt would do this. Will never use the service again.
Waste of time
Ordered and express delivery it took 5 working days instead of being delivered to my home I received a note to pick it up from the post office, what a joke I will not be ordering anything online that uses Australia Post!
Why is all of suburban Perth outside of the Express Post Network (And poor old Darwin too!).
Receiver, Package not arrived
Receiver, not supplied with helpful tracking info.
I came here to complain about my expected Express package that Left Auckland NZ via NZ Express Post at midnight on Fri 20 Sept - that is the early hours of 20 Sept- which was then to become an Aust Post Express package once landed in Aust. Problem is, I have no idea where my express package is in the Aust system as I have not received any updates from the Aust Post side since Thurs 19th Sept when they approved the shipping. To be clear - I have a tracking no. wit...h Aust Post and it is listed as an express package. NZ Post did a fine job getting the parcel on a plane out ASAP. I had timely updates from my NZ Post account and it took a day for the NZ Express service to pick up, carry to depot, process, get 'shipping approval" from Aust Post and see the package off in an aeroplane. Surely my express package is not still flying from NZ to Perth since the early hours of 20 September? Surely it has landed somewhere and been scanned somewhere? And if held up by customs and really not scanned somewhere, no one has informed me. If it turns up in Perth later today or tomorrow, where the ** has it been for all the business hours of Friday and Today? Even with an extended flight time to Perth, my package surely would have got here well before COB today? I am bothered with this because the parcel is sent Express and I feel I should know where it is by this stage...after all NZ Post can do it....then I learnt that....the majority of metro Perth postcodes are outside the Express Network, as is all of Darwin if I haven't misread? Why are Perth and Darwin residents excluded from this network? Is suburban Perth considered a remote, hard to reach country area? And Darwin? We have international airports. What exactly is the system in place for us when we send or receive packages express post? The Aust Post web site encourages we excluded from network residents to use Express Post so as to receive/have delivered a parcel faster than standard post but how exactly? Some get lucky and have their package chucked in with Perth CBD packages, whilst others don't? Is it random or is there something 'systematic' in place that 'guarantees' a speedier delivery for using and paying for the service? Customers should not be encouraged to use and pay for Express post when they are excluded from the network if Australia Post cannot guarantee or be accountable for a maximum number of days for delivery that is less than standard delivery. Basically, it is too confusing and non-transparent, either fix the problem and include us who live in two of Australia's capital cities in the express network, or give the majority of Perth and all Darwin residents some kind of unambiguous alternative.
Do they even know how to knock
Stayed home all day to wait for my parcel that I had express posted. 6:23pm find out they didn’t even bother to know and just left a slip in the mail which I can hardly read! Was probably in too much of a rush to be caught out front they just scribbled on the card. What a waste of my day and money to pay for express!

Concerning the failure to deliver 90 platinum express post satchells on 29th aug, Reference no. 27202339.
Would it be an imposition on my part to ask when they will be delivered?
Priscila L.Australia Post
I've replied to your private message.
Hi. On 29th August I contacted Aus Post online concerning an order of 10 packs 0f 10 Platinum Express post paks. Details below;
Enquiry details : Online Shop
Details : Ordered 10 packs of 10 platinum express post packs 23/8/19 cost as per invoice $1487.50
Received today 1 pack of 10 platinum express post packs.
Short by about 90 platinum express post satchels
Contact Preference : Email
Order Number : 00629816
An easy enough mistake to make,no worries. Rang Aus Post to be told they would look into it. Finally after 20 minutes on the phone to someone, he admitted Aus Post had indeed made a mistake, but it would take 5 working days to sort it out. I told the gentleman that we were in need of the platinum express post paks asap and was informed that he would 'make it a priority'.
When they still hadn't arrived by the 9th September I logged on to Aus Post to find that case #27202339 had been 'resolved', regardless of the fact we were still short 90 platinum ex bags.
So sent another message 'have yet to receive them' on the 9th.
Again nothing on the 10th, no answer to my message from the 9th.
Again sent a message at 6.25pm
"Are they being sent the long way?
Or are they lost in transit?
So here I am wasting more of my time messaging Aus Post via a totally unrelated website except for the thousands of bad ratings and reviews because Aus Post cant be bothered to update us on when the rest of our "bought, paid for and prioritised" Platinum Express satchels will arrive.
"ALARM BELLS SHOULD BE RINGING".
I certainly hope the people we will be sending said satchels to wont have to wait as long for their prioritised express postage.
Incompetence at its best, simple customer placating with nothing real done in the background. Also penny pinchers who extoll customer service into the poor PDO yet if you do the job right you get talked to about being ‘too slow’ delivering and hence using overtime to complete your round. I could go on...
Priscila L.Australia Post
I'm sorry to hear that you didn't receive your full order and that the replacement is taking so long! I'd like to check this for you and give you some info on what's going on. In order for me to talk about your enquiry I'll need to pass privacy so please reply to my private message requesting some details from you.
If anyone is interested another day goes by with no sign of the 90 platinum post satchels but I did receive an email about midday today.
"I'm sorry to hear you've yet to receive your replacement satchels. We have request the warehouse to let us know when they have been sent and to advise us of a tracking number.
We'll be in touch once we have some more details.
Customer Care, (customer care from Aus Post? There's an oxymoron if Ive ever heard one)'
As I havent received any tracking # I must assume it is yet to be sent. Very express, its only taken 2 weeks so far to "NOT GET THEM".
And as we are out of the satchels that we bought in bulk, I am now forced to buy over the counter at the regular price.
And Priscila, in reply to your private message, I gave you my name six hours ago.
Seems to be the usual B.S. from A.P.
I have been waiting for an item which was sent to me by express post on Tuesday. Should have been here on Wednesday. Now its Friday and the last tracking movement was to Chullora on Tuesday night. Not sure if this is a problem with the supplier labelling the parcel wrong, not paying the postage, or a total scam. Or is it just that Australia Post has not progressing the parcel. Really disappointed that my item didn't arrive. Can you please follow up tracking number 33Q395000283 and let me know whose fault this is. Thanks.
Priscila L.Australia Post
It's disappointing that your item has taken so long to arrive despite it being sent Express. I've taken a look at the tracking, it's arrived at Highgate today and is awaiting collection for you now. It was sent on the 6th and should have arrived the next day however it seems to have been delivered in our network, we did have some express delays in Adelaide last week so it seems this could be the reason why. I am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused, please let the sender know they are entitled to a refund from us for the postage.
