Australia Post. because they delivered my parcel the an incorrect address. I do not use them any longer but unfortunately some suppliers still use them even though they don’t do what they are paid to do. Where is the accountability? Why do these people still have jobs?! They are thieves. Suppliers like Temu use iMile and in all the years I’ve used them, not one issue ever. Australia Post are a disgrace – Had parcel sent from USA only took two days to arrive in Sydney. Spent three weeks getting from Sydney to Brisbane only to be returned to USA by Aus Post as it had the post code for my neighbouring suburb. rescheduling. I received the message at 8:00am on 18/5/2023. I hereby state that there was no attempted delivery to my address and that there was no card or telephone call or sms to advise the delivery. Nothing! until this mornings sms which i suspected may be a scam. I then googled the tracking number using my desktop and discovered that the parcel has been taken to the Mount Eliza Australia Post post office. This is totally unaccpetable as the parcel was to be delivered to the address provided not a post office. Also the fact that no delivery took place as the courier did not even attempt to deliver but simply took the parcel to the post office causing me inconvenience, costs and time. I have now collected the parcel and also informed the staff at the post office that no one attempted to deliver the parcel at the required address and that I am forced to leave my work to collect something which was never supposed to be sent to a post office. The staff member suggested I make a complaint and this is exactly what I am doing with this feedback. This is not the first time that this has occurred that orders are not delivered at the required place but taken to some post office. Legally I have not consented for any of my private parcel to be delivered to any post office and find this action by Australia post to be in breach of the privacy laws. I also find Australia Post staff rude and incompetent with no business acumen what so ever. one was at the address. Straight lie as me and my wife were waiting for this delivery all day. Same happened next day, despite complaining to DHL and the Australia Post. Finally I received another message the parcel is ready for the collection at the local Post Office. What a shocking service. Their drivers did not bother to deliver, fully paid for the delivery, parcels and did not even bother to leave a standard message, advising what is happening. Simply they do not intent to deliver from the outset, instead from the beginning they opt for dropping some parcels at the local Post Office for forced collection. As a matter of fact at the time when "no one was in attendance" I received another Australia Post parcel, this one delivered without any problems by our local postman. Finally I also could not wait longer and had to collect my undelivered parcel from the Post Office. This is 6th delivery problem and 5th alone in January, 2023. Absolutely terrible service. Nobody is controlling what drivers are doing and they insert into the system lies and fiction about attempts of the delivery. This institution use to be iconic in Australia but it's becoming fast oversized and without direction, badly managed and shockingly bad with customer service.
