My international express package (that I paid extra postage for) has been on an extended trip around Australia. It came to Perth from Sydney, then went to Canberra, now its back in Sydney. AusPost have changed the arrive time (again) So according to them it's not late now. Their complaint system is an AI with an IQ of 10 who's sole job is to is to… Read more
take you in a frustrating circle and then drop you at the beginning. This is not the first time. I dread any package getting into their hands. Sadly we don't have a choice If the sender uses this awful service. Only time will tell if my package ever arrives or if they will just keep moving the goal posts which seems to be their main occupation.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on EMS (express international shipping) from Japan, as it is only express within Japan. Once your package enters Australia, it is treated like regular mail. Updated estimated time of delivery from Sydney sorting center to Perth metro is now 5 business days. DHL all the way from now on. Show details
I would strongly urge to avoid using Australia Post for International deliveries. I paid almost $50.00 for an envelope to be sent to Canada with Urgent time- Sensitive documents enclosed. The envelope has disappered after 2 months of tracking. This has caused significant delays involving my immigration in Australia. Australia Post now use AI and… Read more
copy and paste on enquires and chat boxs. Completely useless and so frustrating. Strongly urge FEDEX or DHL if you value your time and sanity.

It's a hit and miss with customer care consultants – Was expecting a parcel sent from US via USPS ( priority mail) on 29 th May. Due to Corona and BLM protest it was sent on June 11th from international port. There is no way to track the item as USPS tracking is only predictable and gives only ETA. I followed up this with different Australia post consultants and each time their story was different.… Read more
( One staff basically stuffed up although nothing major). If you are on top of things and insured you are lucky to receive although arrived 2 weeks late( this is after giving ample amount of time for priority mail delivery) . I received the item on July 1st week. Suggestions to Australia post - please coordinate tracking with USPS if you tie up with them. I'm did not consider Shopmate service as they are not transparent with their postal charges. So much hidden fees once you ship the item.
AWAITING DEPARTURE – Can someone help me? I’ve sent a parcel from Australia Fair QLD to Taiwan via express post. Is in transit for 9 days now. When i checked my parcel still in sydney since last saturday and awaiting for departure. It’s been 5 days there and no update. I paid for express post $131 but the package is not moving. The thing is that’s my birthday and anniversary presents for my boyfriend. And i’m looking forward he’ll receive it by this week. Show details
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable because the failure was not just a delay - it was a HUGE chain of handling and communication failures. My birthday present parcel, after being shipped from overseas, was delayed for almost a week. That's okay, delays happen, outside variables are unpredictable. However, there… Read more
was NO meaningful explanation or proper communication on ANY channel.
Upon checking the Australia Post app, I noticed that my receiver's address had been misspelt. I then lodged a complaint, asking for an explanation for what had gone wrong, if the delay was because of the incorrect address. I also left my correct address in the complaint. That complaint was received, yet ZERO meaningful action was taken.
The next day, I got a huge surprise! The parcel was then marked "return to sender". NO COMMUNICATION, NO CLEAR EXPLANATION, NO COMPLAINT REVIEW, NO FAIR CHANCE TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE, NOTHING.
Next, I gave a call to the Australia Post for an urgent complaint and explanation. I was informed it could be intercepted. Unsurprisingly, interception also FAILED.
The funniest thing was, I later rechecked the address details from my purchase and confirmed the parcel had been correctly spelt by both the sender and receiver. WHICH MEANS THE COURIER/INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING WAS THE CULPRIT.
What makes this so poor is that if it was just one delay, I would've laughed or said "Understandable".
Nothing about my experience was understandable in the slightest. I was failed again and again and again and again and again and again. I paid for the service, the service trolled me and injected errors, the service refused to communicate and then decided to act on my behalf - by returning my parcel.
This is not a tragedy, it's the definition goddamn FARCE!!!

Thank you, very good and friendly customer service – Thank you to Sonia and the team at Baulkham Hills, very helpful even after business hours. Thank you, very good and friendly customer service, especially at the end of the day when people can be very rushed and not very cooperative. also thanks for helping me when I completed the wrong item (btw would have been nice if expected delivery times was visible) Show details
Sending A Parcel By Aust Post To Thailand – All-in-all a good service - 4 day (inclusive) work day delivery. Sent from Caboolture on Saturday 29 July 2023 but didn't make it to Brisbane airport until Monday night - arrived in Thailand Thursday morning. Would have been much better if the sender was informed the parcel wouldn't go anywhere over the weekend. Still, all's well that ends well. Show details

8 days ago I sent 1 sheet of paper to UK by Express Post sign and deliver service costing over $40 and was told 3/4 days for delivery as it was very urgent. Today 8 days later it has not arrived !! Why are they allowed to tell customers such lies ?? Show details
Hi send parcel through Australia post on 26 November, i paid extra money for express post and insurance for product. Said delivery will in 6-8 days, i am still waiting for delivery in india. Australia Post lost my $300 parcel and still hasn’t resolved it after 30+ days. I paid an extra $250 for express international shipping, and they made ME chase Thai Post myself. I’ve been passed around with no accountability. Their customer service has been unresponsive, dismissive and just plain exhausting. I will be escalating the matter… Read more

Australia post can't deliver express post in time frame, pretty poor on their behalf but happy to take your money for services that they can't keep! south of Adelaide then decided to to to the centre of Adelaide to airport DISCUSTING !! From Melbourne to Europe and delivered took only 4 days so figure it out, thousands km took 4 days but 730km took 9 days! These documents were important court documents which did not arrive and court had to be adjourned at our cost.
Absolute rubbish, said it was delievered at a certain time but I was home. Going on to the 3rd day and still haven’t received anything. Auspost don’t even respond to emails either. Run away from this courier company!!!! Not reliable or trustworthy. Show details
Item has been sitting at Melbourne airport for three weeks. Pathetic. EDIT: Australia Post emailed to say my 'package has been lost', which basically means stolen by one of the knuckle dragging refugees they employ. Utterly useless. Show details
Missing packages even though they say they delivered it. Front door is open and car in driveway and they don’t even bother to ring door bell. Throw items down roughly with no regard to contents of package. Show details
The service is unforgivable – I am stupidly waiting for my parcel LP122703817AU to arrived in the Philippines. It was sent on 4 December 2024. complaint and still waiting for a response. . It arrived wet and someone opened it and cards were missing. , DO NOT send anything via Australia post too Europe as your receiver will have to pay a tax in order to receive it.

Creep – I was doing ok with Australia Post when all of a sudden I get a postie who thinks it's fun for me to travel to Woop Woop to get my package rather than leave it in my requested 'safe place' -on my veranda (as gate locked and can leave it under my letter box -easily accessible) or, AT LEAST, drop it off at my local post office (around the corner). … Read more
No, this twit (and I know it's the same person) purposefully left another item and current item at a post office in the next suburb (because convenient for them). I had to open a case for the prior package and, again, today for the current package; yet, this time, I'm told the package will not be redirected if I don't pay a redirection fee ($7). Get f. It's disgraceful. The twit on the phone told me today that the postie couldn't find a 'safe place' and the nearest post office was where the said postie ended their shift. The twit on the phone said: "Oh, we never leave packages at places if we think they're not safe places." "Oh, we never throw packages over the fence, as this is not what we do." Get a life. I'm outraged. Life is sh*t enough (and expensive). Now nothing is sacred. Buying overseas via eBay is bad enough what with the AUD being poor and GST, and now no guarantee whatsoever will get a (somewhat) seamless delivery experience. At least DAI post/Asendia think outside the box and leave at my requested 'safe place'!
No communication – I used Aus Post to return clothing to light in the box and paid for express post, tracking and insurance.Once the parcel arrived in China the tracking disappeared. Then about a month later the parcel ended up on my door step. I did not receive any notification from Aus Post and I would think that is about $100 down the tube. Maybe I should deal in gold watches??? Show details
BAD service once again Australia Post – Once again no card and I stayed home waiting all day for the delivery. Tracking states attempted delivery at 5.34am (really???). The last delivery was exactly the same. Get your act together Australia Post - prices keep escalating and your service is becoming worse - our business is now using Sendle due to the non deliveries with our customers also. Show details
The blame game – Sent two iPhones through auspost international express back in the 1st week of November 2023 and the items have neither been delivered to its final destination or returned to me. said that it was their fault for not being able to deliver the parcel as it was not the final receiving country that was rejecting it but rather the customs of the country through which the parcel has to pass through. After several calls they said that it would be RTS in 3 months time and now it’s been more than 3 months and I still don’t have the phones back. Auspost now seems to be trying to put the blame on me and not mentioning of any compensations for the the delay. Never going to use their service again. I’m done and I wish I could rate them less than 1 star.
Repeated failure to deliver. Impressively useless and expensive for no reason – I have sent birthday cards, Xmas cards and 2 small parcels in the last couple of years to UK from 2 different State/Territories. To date none of them have actually arrived at 2 destinations at opposite ends of the country. Oh, and a post card just for fun sent via regular Auspost airmail still hasn't arrived after over 3 months. Someone has a monster of a garage sale happening somewhere just with the crap I've lost. Extremely poor service – Ordered a book from Japan back on 17th January 2024. Paid premium shipping service for the parcel to arrive here relatively quickly. insurance after week 3. Then I will sue and humiliate AUSTRALIA POST in the Small Claims Tribunal Court, for $8,000 Because my parcel was Ancestry-DNA. I will have to order a new DNA kit ($120), then arrange a new flight to Africa ($2,650), then hire a car in Africa again ($1,000), then drive to the relative again for his DNA, then rather fly to Ireland myself ($2,000) and then fly back to Australia ($2,000).

left Perth Airport on 15January and was due to be delivered on 17January. ... So that was over 2 months for the first 10 kms and 3 days for the next 14,500 kms !!!! I asked Australia Post (ref 59677024) for a reason and got a standard (CYA) response saying that it can take up to 6 weeks for UK letters to arrive and, even longer with the Xmas/New Year holidays!!!
In other words, they had NO IDEA what happened to my Passport in those first 66 days !!!! Not good value at all for my $31 ?
