1 Michael B.  · Au post said they don’t have or ever had parcel sender says it’s sent delivered
1 Citizen  · Your “leave in safe place” automatic setting for deliveries is ridiculous. The front door in a suburban area is NOT a “safe place”.
1 Emma C.  · How dare you suspend parcels to the US. Pay the tarriff and grow up. You are a postal service you have no right to get political.
2 Dee  · Not being updated on the status of my package. Been sitting in “lodged by sender” for almost 5 days with no explanation????
1 Peter  · Terrible service – Parcel missing. No compensation because it's over 30 days. What a scam.

ORDERED A GUITAR FROM CHINA through ebay. The lead time for delivery was 3 months. This was one month to build and two month sea voyage ( slow boat from China). It finally arrived after 3 months to Sydney. I was tracking it through AusPost app. After enquiring about my delivery AusPost said because the package exceeded 105 cm in length it was… Read more

rejected and would be sent back to China. And there is nothing that they can do to interfere with the process.

Flagged and to be returned to sender because of exceeding 105 cm. It probably exceeded by 100-200 mm. WTH No option for me to do ANYTHING. Why can't I organise my own courier for the final leg or even pick it up myself ? Just can't believe it. If the seller had organised ANY other courier there would have been no problem. I have previously ordered guitars from China before ( AliExpress ) and had no problem by using other couriers. WHAT A JOKE. Really bitter about this.

If you want to waste your time and money - look no further. The delivery time of any other postal service is much better, not to count the price. The "Extra cover" is just a joke... It's much more likely to win a lottery rather than getting money for your lost parcel Show details

Thank you Auspost customer service! – I contacted AusPost re: an incorrect address on my international parcel, coming from Israel, customer service called me the very next day & managed to intercept my parcel & attach the correct address. The gentleman whom I spoke with was so lovely, I’m very grateful for this man, as I needed the item for a new job I’m starting. Thank you so much Australia Post!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Show details

Posted a parcel from the UK just before Christmas 2024. When I received the package the box was completely wrecked with sticky tape all over it. THEN when I opened it there was hot chocolate powder everywhere. Two of my hot chocolate gifts were completely destroyed and ungiftable. I made an official complaint via their “Help and Support” page. I… Read more

loved how they passed the buck back to the UK postal service and the sender (that’s me). The green sticker states “Opened by Australia Post for inspection by ABF”. In the emails by Australia post they say that they are not by law accountable because it was customs that requested the inspection. The following is part of Australia Posts response: To the term in question my colleague provided with more detail -- Australia Post General Terms & Conditions (November 2023) -- 3.7 Included Compensation dependencies (for Items lost or damaged in transit) Included Compensation is not available under clause 3.6 if: - Section F - the Item was lost or damaged from the inspection or repacking of the Item by Customs or any government authority. THEREFORE, AUSTRALIA POST AND THE ABF CAN DAMAGE YOUR PROPERTY AND GET AWAY WITH IT (IT’S LAW). WARNING: DO NOT SEND LEGITIMATE FOODSTUFF VIA AUSTRALIA POST, let alone anything you think is of value including books - dogs ears galore and hot chocolate powder inside the pages. TOTALLY DISGUSTING AND UNCALLED FOR BEHAVIOUR. A swab or a sniffer dog would have been sufficient to show that the hot chocolate was actually hot chocolate. Learnt my lesson “NEVER USE AUSTRALIA POST” for anything of value.

Paid for a postage label from my business account, label was generated by Aupost and they returned my parcel asking for more money after paying the postage, buyer on eBay paid US taxes but this wasn’t enough for Aupost. They stole my money and they… Read more

won’t refund what I paid blaming the customers that they had to create an account with a third party they use to collect more money. Sendle and other companies don’t use these shady tactics or hide information from customers to later blackmail them asking for more funds.

Follow-up  · Aupost simply took the money, did not refund anything, although it was their mistake. I am reversing the transaction with my bank, and Aupost never gave a clear and reasonable explanation for why they make customers pay for their mistakes.

All parcels seem to stop at Narangba Postal Center. Why?? Tracking goes well until parcels get there. Then tracking just repeats on Narangba. Sender already had to credit me for late parcels. Where the heck are they?? How embarrassing for auspost and costly for overseas sellers. Putrid 'service'. Show details

The WORST delivery service I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I had a $200 custom made plushie my friend bought for me from overseas, and not only was it initially sent to the wrong address, it got lost in transit. If you're a business or company, please consider using a different postal service, as they will likely lose you money for lack of consistency in quality. Show details

I dont understand why tracking is for? When the scanner reads it, does it read that its supposed to be in another area, and not to be delivered and supposed to be collected by parcel Locker of Australia post? But no, its scanned and put into a delivery van and gone out to delivered at a non existing address, but a parcel Locker, and the driver… Read more

Absolutely terrible service. Every time I use this post office, something goes wrong. Items are either lost, delayed for weeks, or never show up at all. The deliveries never arrive on time — not even once. The service is extremely slow, disorganized, and unreliable. It's frustrating to deal with them, and there’s zero accountability when things go missing. Overall, a rubbish service that seriously needs improvement. Show details

local post office and they said " we can't issue a refund because you have booked it online, so You have to get the refund online too" Aren't all Australian post offices are connected? They have also returned few US packages too (they haven't left the country either) and marked it as delivered with them too. They are ripping off small businesses .

parcels from a site in China where everything went smooth till it got to Australia now I received one of my parcels which I ordered both one after the other (which was also the matching pair to the one delivered ) and my app said the arrive at the same day and after tracking them both to Adelaide STH AUS now my other parcel is on its way to QLD Brisbane and won’t be here for another week or longer! Now the person only gets half of his present till the other one gets here! And all they can do on the phone is hand me to a robot saying “ yes your parcel is arriving on time’ NO IT BLOODY ISNT YOU CLOWNS! How the crap does that even happen when they both were only 40 mins away from its destination??? That CEO in Melbourne needs to quit his job and hand it over to someone else responsible instead of sitting in his million dollar house made from everyone he crap is over! Quit your job ya idiot!

LIARS – I have a parcel coming last Friday but I didn't receive it. On the tracking record, it says 'Attempted delivery' which is clearly a lie. I tried to contact their customer service online… Read more

No Delivery Was Ever Attempted – Why do you feel the need to tell lies? My tracking information came up "Delivery Attempted, Unsuccessful". I was at home the whole time. No one came to my door. I spent the morning working right outside the front of my house. I would like an explanation why you said you attempted delivery when you clearly did not. I guess I will now have to waste my time driving to a collection centre. I should get my postage refunded for the inconvenience. Show details
