Saved me hundreds in attempted theft losses – Excellent customer service! Very impressed. My card details were stolen by a skimmer and not only did Auswide's anti-fraud team block the theft of several hundred, their team called me multiple times, even near midnight on Sunday, to ensure they weren't blocking a legitimate transaction. Happy client – I recently got scammed by an overseas company, contacted Jess sharma , from the sarina branch about the incident. I had personally given up on this money being returned, but Jess didn’t , resulting in my money being recovered Jess is an absolute credit to the Auswide banking community .

of identification and the "third degree" grilling some staff display especially at main branch. Presently, the best service is from staff at the Hinkler Central branch and Caloundra.
Follow-up · The staff at Hinkler Central are friendlier to customers, even with the draconian rules of ID checking, some staff at main branch have been abrupt in their approach to me. Walked in to open an account and was given an immediate response from the teller and then the bank officer - unlike another bank when i was told to come back in a week for an appointment. I understand the need to protect people and accounts but Auswide is too inflexible. My dad is 92 and is old school, does not have an email, does not have a mobile and definitely does not use any type of bank cards. in to pay for a bill. Every time has been rejected by them. This time I had his Bpay book, (his details and signature already filled out), his drivers licence and even the bill with his name on it and I even have my driver's licence, my surname is the same. However, they declinced to pay the bill because he forgotten to write on the back declaring that I am his daughter and gives his permission for me to pay his bill. Now I understand if I was trying to withdraw money, then by all means knock me back but all I was doing was paying a bill with his name on it, with his Bpay cheque thing which he signed himself. I said call him, (I even gave the phone number) and he can confirm but the response was that they still could not pay the bill even if they called. I have told dad that I will never step foot into the branch ever again. AUSWIDE YOU ARE TOO INFLEXIBLE ESPECIALLY FOR THE EDLDERLY.
I prefer to be taken into a private office to discuss my business (re-invest Term Deposit) and other instructions rather than discuss my business at the front counter so anyone can hear my business! Other visits to the bank relating to business were done in a private office.
Applied for a credit card due to the attractive interest rate,and balance transfer offer, I ask what documents they needed, and I provided but they didn’t read the payslips correctly and they also emailed me my line manager for proof of work, but they also asked my manager my annual salary? but not all of them, then the situation became more difficult due to there failed systems to identify me and request further proof of split bills for a 3000$ credit card, sorry but I wasted my time for over a week for a response, I ended up going elsewhere where with in the hour got approved.

Vanessa was very obliging even though she was a very busy girl when she attended to my wife and myself and my wife. We have been customers since the bank started off as Mackay Building Society. We have found the Canelands branch very pleasant and helpful but unfortunately Mt Pleasant doesn't have the same warm atmosphere.

Made an appointment over the phone to open a new account at you Barolin Street Bundaberg branch. The lady on the phone was very efficient and friendly. The Staff in the Cooroy Auswide Bank Branch are so helpful, friendly as well as professional and nothing is too much trouble. The best financial suggestions are offered relative to each individual.
