I had my Hyundai serviced after purchasing a VIP voucher. Plainland service was very expensive, but I moved and decided to try Burpengary yesterday for a service. Big mistake. I did mention I would need tyres unfortunately they don't deal with tyres long story short I was left with black tyres (awesome) but the pressure hadn't been checked (all… Read more
needed air) down to 25 I checked on leaving, Radiator was down on fluid window washer reservoir was about empty. My window screen was like they had put dust on it. Never again the quote to do what they said needed doing was outrageous. Guess I will be going back to finding a new mechanic after this experience. Yes, it only cost me $140 for the so-called service but the VIP card was very costly to purchase in the first instance. Very unhappy guys I happen to be trying to live on an aged pension just lucky I learned how to upkeep basic things under my hood myself. DEB
Another great experience at Automasters Slacks Creek and it's why we drive our 5 family vehicles 40 minutes away to be looked after properly and honestly. We actually got a quote off a local mechanic for this work and it was more than 4 times the price which was inflated with items that didn't need doing. Chris and the guys went over the car… Read more

I honestly can't recommend Automasters Slacks Creek highly enough.
So called manager has no people skills and was extremely rude. Not what you would expect when parting with hard earned cash. Poor reflection on the company name at West Ipswich branch Show details

Follow-up · The booking process was very easy. My call was answered immediately, and friendly and helpful staff booked me in for a service at my preferred time. I received a wonderful video of the work that was carried out. The video also showed what needed to be done - minor in my case - so I booked it in to have this work completed. Salesman going door to door selling discount vouchers for Automasters. I was willing to talk to him until he opened his folder and overtly showed me the personal details of other people in the street who had bought them. He continued to say that he only had 3 vouchers left, and I asked is that because he saw 3 cars in our driveway? He said No. I… Read more
excused myself for a minute to go to the bathroom. I called my friend up the road whose name I saw on the sales guys folder. No surprise that he was told he was buying the last two vouchers and he was also annoyed that he was shown the details of our neighbours. Back at my front door, I politely farewelled my new friend and sat down to think about the line between salesmanship and lying a manipulation. I didn’t have to think long, as my friend had posted this guys antics on our Community Facebook page and the verdict was unanimous. It left a sour taste in everyone’s mouth and we won’t be eating what they’re serving. I liked Automasters until this point. Years of advertising “transparency” as a key part of their brand went out the window with our community. He looked like he had sold 30 or so vouchers, but lost at least 1,350 opportunities based on the “likes” on my friends Facebook post. I was going to write a short review sorry. But I didn’t have time.
Oh, and our location wasn’t in the list below. It was Hervey Bay.
I was blown away my Moorooka Auto Masters. I recently moved from NSW to QLD so it was my first experience for a QLD mechanic. It's also my first time to use Auto Masters and my reference point is MyCar who I used previously in Sydney. Auto Masters is 10x better than My Car and is also cheaper so that was a bonus. What really impressed me was the… Read more
level of detail they go into to explain the service being performed, issues they find, and the level of detail in the paperwork they hand you back. You can see from all of the information provided, including the video, that everything is legitimate and there is no "scam tactics" that one would usually have apprehension from dodgy mechanics. It's actually the first time ever in my whole life I have received a clear, detailed video from a mechanic explaining the issues they found. It really instils confidence in their work. They were also very honest in their billing and they refunded for an item they didn't end up using. The service was timely, the premises were spot clean and professional, the gentlemen at reception were super friendly and approachable with my questions, and they provide the paperwork in a nice little envelope so you don't lose anything. And further to all that, the car windows were cleaned and the car vacuumed. You have created a new loyal customer and I won't even think about going anywhere else. I will recommend Auto Masters to everyone I know for trusted, friendly, professional, and exceptional service. Thank you
Great customer service great prices and courteous customer service 10 out of 10 – I have had two cars which had major mechanical problems fixed at west Ipswich automasters this last week. company at west Ipswich automasters . The company could not do enough in fixing the problems and they always send a video of the problems with my car before fixing them. This is the most honest company I have ever dealt with . And I’m a car guy i look after all my cars. It’s so refreshing to come across a company you can trust and nothing was to hard for them to sort out . Jacobs polite and courteous service was impeccable and I will be keeping this company for any future problems that I have with my cars . Thankyou Jacob , pretash and the other ladies and gentlemen who did their job so well and so quickly. I Highly recommend these people at west Ipswich automasters . Michael Robinson Ipswich.

Definitely recommend the friendly guys at Moorooka Auto Masters for their great job servicing the breaks on my Mazda. They also identified some other small issues which I had them resolve. The workshop is clean and tidy and plenty of parking. The train is also handy if you're not taking their courtesy car. Great service and the video explanation made the decision to proceed easy. Highly recommend the guys at Moorooka Auto Masters for not only identifying my Suzuki Grand Vitara issue as a faulty ABS Pump Module but actually finding a second-hand replacement which are as rare as Rocking Horse poo. I am genuinely shocked. AutoMasters don't even know how to change a tyre, seriously ask them to do change a tyre and do a basic wheel alignment, they can't. They employee apprentices who are charged at much higher rates. Don't risk it, they are terrible. Show details

OVERPRICED on 3 different occasions – OVERPRICED This is not just a 1 off use of their service. I used Automasters 3 times now and got second quotes from another mechanic that was well established. Not just the cheapest mechanic either and even then the secondary quotes were MUCH cheaper than Automasters. Show details

Most horrible experience I've ever had – I would NOT recommend this company for any sort of work to your car. I got the mess around when my car was gonna be ready many times over. Automasters Enoggera had a really positive experience with these guys, they had gotten my Xtrail back running smooth again and I've recently bought a VW golf and these guys have done the service and I love how transparent they are with the video quotes, thanks for looking after me once again guys , 5 stars I totally recommend automasters Enoggera Show details · 1
Beware of Auto Masters Thuringowa & the VIP Club I recently took my car to Auto "Masters" Thuringowa for a routine logbook service, but what followed was incredibly frustrating. Immediate Issues: My car was running perfectly before the service. The moment I drove home, acceleration problems appeared. The next time I started it, two fault lights… Read more
came on—two unrelated failures at the exact same time!
Their "Diagnosis": Auto "Masters" denied any responsibility, claiming it was a coincidence and insisting two sensors had suddenly failed. They wanted to charge me nearly $1,000 for replacements! Their so-called "compromise"—waiving labour—was meaningless, as I had already paid for their VIP Club, which includes free labour anyway!
The Real Issue: Thankfully, I got a second opinion at Double D Automotive. In just 3 minutes, they found the real cause—a disconnected hose! (See photos). They reattached it, ran a check, and the fault lights disappeared instantly—no need for expensive sensor replacements.
Lost Trust: Even with "free" labour, I will never let Auto "Masters" touch my car again. After this experience, I can’t help but question whether the other "necessary" repairs they recommended were even genuine.
⚠️ Be Cautious: If you take your car here, think twice before trusting their diagnosis. Next time they send you a video claiming something is faulty, ask yourself—would you actually be able to tell from the video, or are you just taking their word for it?

Availability and willingness to assist – My wife's Jeep broke down on a Sunday. We took it to Automasters Burpengary on Monday morning and got it back, fully repaired, by Wednesday. VIP discount cards are a hoax - overpriced and opaque billing – after purchasing a discount VIP pass that claimed I would save $220 for a logbook service Booked our Ford Focus into Tweed heads for a logbook service (and replacement of wheel speed sensors) No discount was applied when my wife picked the car up. I went back o back aand pointed out the error, was told I misunderstood the offer, the they… Read more
reluctantly gave half the discount. The logbook wasn't filled out I asked them to amend it, they didnt The total cost was over $150 more than the same service from the dealer (with the VIP AutoMaster "discount") also see attached invoice image Notice there is no labour amount itemised anywhere on the invoice They charged $190 to fit a $35 part, that takes just 7 minutes (check it on youtube) I contacted the head office of the Franchise to discuss the opaque promotional and billing practices, was told they would call back. They didn't The tweed branch mechanic said the owner was aware of my questions around the invoicing and would call. He didn't
The VIP card gives value to several hours free labour - yet AutoMasters do not give a breakdown of labour time??
Absolutely scummy business – Terrible business, over charging, no accountability, employees are evasive and dodge responsibility and try make you wait months and run you around in circles waiting for a refund. Dont Buy the 'VIP" Card – Avoid. Bought a "VIP" voucher from one of their sales people walking around advertising their new location. Rude customer service – Waited for five minutes then they went to place a order on the phone which took another ten minutes or so and then when I finally checked my car in which took about one minute at the most they had a real attitude like I was inconvenienceing them and I had booked this time to come in before hand. So not the best experience.
Worst service – Beaudesert Road Coopers Plains - I gave my car after seeing 99$ promotional service.. but charged more than 1000$ after giving me a list of problem. but the worst thing is after 3 months I open the bonnet to check the oil level and shock to see the cap is not closed. they just placed it and the oil is all over it is fully sprayed and empty. Worst experience ever – West Burleigh Auto Masters Charged me $560 for brake pad replacement, but fitted it incorrectly! “replacement” pads, the toxic fumes I inhaled, caused acute & chronic respiratory problems & throat irritation, as well as distress & headaches. They charged $249 for standard service, but the “perform service” light kept flashing after the service was done and my prime items of concern ( dashboard warning lights) were still on . I suspect they just painted my tires & gave me complementary pack of tissues & cheap merchandise. Grand total for worst experience ever = $904. Also, a new scrape on my passenger door panel, that wasn’t there before I left my Jeep with them, but I can’t prove it. The only reprieve I got from the experience was that I was lucky to get [Name Removed] from Tweed Heads Auto masters to fix their shoddy work, before having to drive 1hr home. 0 out of 5star rating
Rip off and didn’t bother about customer service – Had got my car in for servicing and the same day into servicing my car the car stopped working called the service centre next day(as it was late in evening) and got told to check for warning sign and I told them that the engine warning sign was on and the manager told me to jump start the car even though I knew it was not a battery issues .… Read more
Anyways I had a very efficient car jump Starter(expensive one ) that I used to jump start but the car wouldn’t start and the battery was absolutely fine , so called the store again they send one of their technician who couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the car and assured me that’s they will tow the car back to the store and will look after us(cost wise ) as the car was only into the store a day before and the store did the servicing only a day before . The car was towed into their store and got a call next day advising one of the main fuse 120amp fuse was blown and I got the blame for that and they charged me $130 for the after market fuse even though I got told they will look after me . I thought they were putting the blame on me for braking the car and i told them i followed their instructions and did not blew the fuse, even then I got charged $130 this is on top of the service fees they charged me a day before that was $159 . I just felt if I had got the fuse would have only costed me $25-$40. Anyways I have lost trust in the company, sometimes you have to look after your customer to retain your goodwill . I understand they may not have blown the fuse but if you go by the balance of probability the car was serviced in their store just a day before so I don’t know what should I assume . It’s all about retaining customers and providing exceptional customer service which helps to retain and maintaining a good name in the market, but unfortunately I have lost my trust into auto masters I believe this issue would have dealt better .sometimes it’s not about money it’s all about good customer service also not to mention the car service was meant to me log book service and they forgot to do the log book and had to remind them to do it when the car went for repairs the next day , after they did the inspection they said that they found the remains of the coolant liquid(drops on the car) reservoir but they checked the coolant reservoir and it was not leaking . After I checked the opened the bonnet of the car and started the car I could see the coolant was leaking and the liquid was all over the palace and I showed it to the manager and he was ah ok we checked it but could not find any issues and told me it will cost $80 to replace . Also not to mention these guys check the side indicators and told me it was not working and since then it’s been missing the outer cover and when I called the store they said it must have been lost by myself and again blamed me for something that I haven’t done . Not happy with the two services I got done on both of my cars
