I have been given this baby lock machine by a friend. I broke a needle, and cannot locate anywhere the correct needle for it. please help and also no Manuel was given to me therefore I don't know how to put the needle in, as its very fidgety and challenging to get fingers there.
You can purchase the needles for this machine from Sewing Machine City in Bayswater Victoria, if you reside out of Victoria don't panic, as they can send them to you. Just be warned, the needles for this machine are on the pricey side, I just paid $25 for a packet of them, Good luck threading and putting the needles in, it is not easy...

Hi, i also have the BL4 838DF and no manual [not available anymore] Ive used many industrial overlockers, so threading it wasn't a problem, but the piece with the red star as fallen of, and the foot. Cant work out how they go on, so would love a manual. Hope you can help. Thanks Linda.
Hi Linda, I don't have the Babylock serger anymore. I ended up giving it to my mom about a year ago. I'm using a necchi serger. I'm not sure but there's a chance I might still have a copy of the manual I'll just have to look for it. I'll get back to you in a couple days.
