Hi There, I am wondering whether anyone can help with the adjustments of this chair. The adjustments options seem to be locked and when I pull the lever to set as 'Free' it doesn't work. It seems like it is locked forever. I just bought the chair two days ago. I cannot adjust the height or other things of the chair. Please advise?

It would be a good idea to ask a sales person in the store where you have bought the chair from.

There may be a fault in the chair.

Hi, I recently purchased this product in the colour black and assembled it all together fine. However, the back rest stitching is not alligned with the bottom.. i was wondering if there was any way to prevent this / re-align it properly as I have already tried doing that and re-alligned it however, as soon as I tighten up the back it straight away went un-alligned again thus making one arm rest go up all the way and the other not..

I am sorry I am not certain what you could do to fix this problem.

The only thing I can think of is: take the seat back to where you bought it and tell them the problem you have with the chair.

I hope you can resolve the issue.

I've had the same problem with the arm rests. One goes up properly with plenty of clearance but the other one hits the back of the chair. I discovered that the back is actually sitting crooked and leans to one side causing the arm rest to bind. And the stitching doesn't align as well. I took the chair back and they exchanged it for a new one, but guess what? It has the same problems so it is going back for a refund. Surely there must be a lot of other people out there who have had this problem. Or maybe I'm just super unlucky to try two chairs and having them both being faulty.

I have a Blue & Black Bathurst office chair, The vinyl arms and seat have delaminated & look fairly ordinary. The seat from new has always been covered by a towel. The item is now over 2 years old. Is it possible to get a new seat & arms for this chair ??

Cheers Barry.

I have been tempted to remove the cover, cut a pattern from the pieces and make a cover out of proper materials and repad the foam but ultimately I am too lazy. I wouldn't bother getting a new seat, if you are going to spend any money buy a completely different chair. My chair now serves as constant reminder of "you get what you pay for" and "be careful of Officeworks".
