Bought a bed and mattress 1 yr ago. For last 6 months had no help and been given the run around regarding a defective mattress. We have had no choice but to purchase a new mattress from a different retailer. Definitely would not recommend this store or the englander brand. Show details

makes the sheet slip and slide and makes the sheet come lose during the night. I can't fit the mattress protector because the sheet won't fit. I am 76 years old with a lower back injury and to try and lift the mattress only causes me pain. Why do mattresses today have to be so extremely heavy? I am not happy with the mattress for those reasons.

Great salesman, poor management – The salesman who served me was wonderful and had great knowledge of the products. The manager of the store was quite rude however; when asked for help with an Afterpay issue, he made it seem like an inconvenience to ask for help. Pretty disappointing behaviour from a manager.

Stay away! – I'd say keep away from this store. I purchased a bedroom suite with a tall boy but the tallboy turned out to be hazardous i.e. it could break your bones if handled even with a slightest mistake. really?). I even agreed for that and also to pay for any shipping. I was told to call on Monday to speak to their manager [Name Removed]. I called and there I get an arrogant answer. "You should've checked when you bought it". So, it's okay for you to sell dangerous goods if I didn't check? Okay, my mistake and that's why I called to come to an amicable solution. But dear god, [Name Removed] was rude as hell and made me feel like I bought a cheap and valueless piece of furniture. "You opened it and that's it, we can't take it" and she disconnected my call when I told her I was going to leave a negative review and won't refer any of my friends to their store. This is certainly not the attitude I expect from stores.

Please stay away as you can expect 0 customer service from these people. Going to consumer affairs anyway.

A few major issues surrounding the process – Bed, mattress and bedside table purchased purchased by my housemate. Was ultra nonplussed to learn that having paid the $80 to have it assembled three guys came to our house during Melbourne's 5th lockdown none of whom wore a mask. that landed us in this lockdown. Speechless. The other issue is the mountain of waste left behind. A trailer and a trip to the tip will be required to get rid of all the foam and cardboard. There needs to be provision to remove and recycle this rubbish built in to the price. This is exactly the type of thing that leads to people dumping rubbish.
