delivery guys had raised a request on 18th June to get it replaced and the store, warehouse are giving lame reasons since then. Initially they said that the warehouse is shifting and we were promised to get this on 5th of July after we have followed up with them often. We got a call on 4th saying they wont be delivering the next day(5th) as their warehouse is shifting and they are not able to give us proper delivery timelines. On 5th July after repeated calls to the store, the manager said that they might not have our item in stock while one of the workers had confirmed that they would send us the display item. Today-7th of July we did a followup call and we have been told by the Manager- Dave that he is unable to reach the warehouse (which is absurd. Wondering if they do not have any other means to contact the warehouse?) and the display item is an old model compared to what we had ordered (rolling eyes).

Very unhappy with the response and customer service.

Will not recommend bedsndreams to anyone.

Edit 18/07/2025: We received the tallboy and dressing mirror on 12/07/2025. We got a email in a couple of days of posting this review that they have found the last piece of tall boy and parts for the dressing mirror from their warehouse after they redid their inventory and that it would be delivered on 12/07/2025.

Excellent service! Dave the manager of the store was so helpful and efficient and easy to deal with. I had been looking for a new bed for a couple of months and finally found the perfect bed at Beds n Dreams Nunawading. I love the bed it’s beautiful quality and strong and sturdy. choice between two different makes of bed very easy. Our first contact was with Dave a couple of months ago. He was very helpful and engaging, preparing a quote even though we were not ready to buy. We said in the car that Dave made the choice of which company to buy from easy. I phoned Dave on Tuesday, 24 May when he advised that they were having a very special sale on the weekend. He also provided the name of the supplier of fabrics for the base unit. Given the special discounts happening we decided to get our skates on and finalise our choice of bed. So, over to Nunawading for our next engagement with BedsnDreams with Geoff on Friday, 24 May. He also was also engaging and helped us validate our final choice of bed and base. The offer was made that if we put our order in on the day then we would have the products at the weekend heavily discounted price, which we did. Christina was also engaging and helpful with some details of the products and helping us to come to a final decision about the colour of the fabric we had selected for the base. Geoff humorously ask to be left out of that decision! Of course, we were also persuaded to take pillows and mattress cover, but it was light-hearted upsell. Thank you to all at BednDreams Nunawading for your help and transparency in pricing it was a pleasure to be a customer with friendly people. We look forward for the delivery of our new bed in the near future.

the product but was advised it would fade away after several months. That’s why we accept the goods on delivery. However, after two months, this unpleasant smell remains as strong even after we took every necessary steps. It permeates the room and spread to other rooms which makes us feel sick. We consider it is bad for the health as the products is for a 13-year-old children. Two months is beyond the acceptable level so we emailed on 14th Feb to request a return for refund. Got no reply. We called the store on following Wednesday, the staff said the only available contact method with customer service is via email, and they would forward the email to them right away and the team would contact us. Wait for another week, still no reply. We called again and ask them to send an inspector to our house otherwise we would report the issue to consumer affairs. Finally they send someone to inspect the item and agreed to refund the mattress due to the product faulty. They promised to contact us the following Monday and arrange someone to pick up the product on the same day so we took a day off and waited at home. No contact and no one showed up. We called back and they said it was rescheduled and would call us back. Then we received a call from the manufacturer eating their words, saying it was our fault of accepting the goods and now it is too late to return the goods. They will send another inspector to have a look at the goods. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I have contacted the consumer affairs already and they advised the time is reasonable for the fault and problems to appear of this item. We still reserve the right to request a return for refund. SO WE REQUEST A PICK UP OF THE ITEM AND REFUND IMMEDIATELY, OTHERWISE, WE WILL TAKE IT FURTHER AND PUBLISH THIS COMMENT ON EVERY PLATFORM AS WE CAN AND REPORT TO THE FAIR TRADING. Excellent service – Beds n Dreams Nunawading provided excellent service by David and his team. The Silentnight Black Onyx bed is luxurious and comfortable and we are very happy. Extremely poor experience – Bed was delivered after 7 weeks of placing order instead of in 3 weeks as promised. One of the box was broken. Contents of the box includes damaged wooden strips.

Best ever! – I’ve done a lot of sleeping in my 59 years but never as good as on our new Amerisleep mattress. After having been to countless stores, it was refreshing to deal with someone who was more interested in what may suit us as opposed to just making a sale. We finally made our choice (which was quite different and cheaper than we originally thought we would like), and we are very happy.

Remember, you will spend a third of the rest of your life on the mattress you buy. The technology in mattresses has changed immensely since we last bought one, so we found it invaluable to talk to someone who knew what was available and how it affected the way you sleep.

Absolutely Terrible - Highly recommend steering well clear – Young couple who have bad backs which runs in the family. After going well above our price range we were assured this mattress would not disappoint after expressing our concerns. We were told it was the ' rolls royce' of bedding. Unfortunately it is faulty and is impossible to get onto warranty from Bed n Dreams. Absolutely appauling and will never return!!!!!!  Show details

an upgraded replacement bed made in Australia, as a service recovery, which I was told I could pick up early the next week. No phone call. When I called, [name removed] could not believe the information I was given, told me the facts, also offered to deliver to me for the inconvenience. There are 20 or so bed shops in the Nunawading area, although the bed is comfortable, the service would have to get better for me to purchase again!

Faulty – I bought a bed for my disable son I have been contacted by his carers as there is a large piece of metal sticking out on the corner of the mattress, on contacting the Nunawading they say it has never happened before.
