a long period of time to make sure it didn't aggravate my back at all. We went in with our kids 6 and 10 one of the times we were looking and the store staff were really great with our children and even gave them some lollies to keep them happy while we were looking.

MISLEADING INFORMATION/BUYER BEWARE – Ordered a custom base/bedhead upholstered the cost was $1819. Two Long single split bases Before my purchase, I asked the sales Manager [Name Removed] if you have solid platform bases and she replied We do not do those anymore, so I asked [Name Removed] how many bed slats the bases had and was told 12 thick wide slats with small gaps and informed… Read more
the slats were not like the old thin ones. On this information, I proceeded with the sale. When the bed bases arrived not only were they stained (dirt marks) bed head, and base, but on checking (both) bases I found out they are only 8 slats measuring 3.5-inch width but with a 4.5-inch gap! On complaining, not only about the dirt marks but the bases not having the correct number of slats being the 12 thick wide slats with small gaps, that I thought I was receiving. [Name Removed] the State Manager, got [Name Removed] the Sales rep from Slumbercorp to view the bedhead and bases. [Name Removed] removed the dirt stain marks with Warwick cleaner however the stain on the headboard reappeared, I got this off with warm soapy water. When I mentioned the bases, she commented and said that as Slumbercorp works only on Templates, even if you were to get another new base/s you would be supplied the same (that is bed bases with the same number of slats being 8.). [Name Removed] advised me she would ask [Name Removed] if he could put the product on the shop floor I was told by [Name Removed] the State Manager, that they would not be putting the product on the shop floor or would I be getting a refund. and [Name Removed] replied even though it had 8 slats the base material would also help support the. mattress. The shop BedNDreams [Name Removed] denied what she originally told me which was "12 thick wide slats with small gaps" after I complained to the shop I had not received what I purchased. [Name Removed] then admitted that she did not know the number of bed slats in the bases So I was misled into buying the bed bases/headboard from them to get a sale. The shop itself including the State Manager [Name Removed], did not provide the customer service, nor did they offer any resolution. Extremely unprofessional. I did go through Consumer Protection but had cancelled this as we did not have a bed to sleep on, so we opted to get the product repaired by an upholsterer at our cost. The upholsterer did a fantastic job and repaired the bed bases adding more slats and mentioned the gaps were not 4.5 inches apart, (but 5 inches apart). Expensive Lesson learned do not order custom bases from a bed shop, assume the salesperson has enough product knowledge/or accept a verbal reply, make sure when buying your bed base (if it's upholstered) to get the salesperson to write on the sales invoice the number of slats, the width of slats, and gap width in between the slats, this will hold the shop accountable for providing the correct product the customer ordered. If they cannot provide this then the customer can shop elsewhere. I would not recommend BedsNDreams Beckenham, due to being misled into buying a product I didn't order, and not providing an adequate resolution, (in my case a refund). [Name Removed] the State Manager is unprofessional in his conduct, customer service is Nil, and [Name Removed] would rather deny something verbally along with the State Manager covering up what was said than provide a resolution/or a refund to the customer. Buyers beware always check that you have an appropriate base to support your mattress.
Buyer Beware – Buyer Beware We bought a mattress for +$1000 on Saturday 24/7/21 sales staff were fabulous. Not in stock, the store requested a delivery from their warehouse to the Cannington store. stain on the underside. I rang the store immediately and emailed through photos of the damage. They responded today 28/7/21 saying they would not be replacing the mattress as it left the store in a 'good condition'. Staff in the store had no way of knowing that for sure, as it was wrapped/sealed in both clear and opaque white plastic. The product is not of acceptable quality to be sold and should never have left the warehouse. It is unacceptable to sell a stained mattress as 'new' and expect people to sleep on it! Please make sure you request them to unwrap the mattress in store and inspect the mattress in full! It is also poor form to not have a customer service team or head office number consumers can contact with issues relating to a store.

a little different though, my circumstances involve purchases like these across three families. In that respect, I tend to shop around more, and put a lot of stock in communicating with and getting to know salespeople in these places; a fresh face can turn a store around, and a bad team member can make all those good reviews useless, if they dump on a store's reputation. I'm picky like that :)
I've recently (Jan-Feb 2024) taken delivery of an adjustable electric bed base, and two different double-size mattresses (in separate orders) from Beds n Dreams Osborne Park, and I'm VERY happy with the purchases, but especially the staff there who took the time to give good advice and get it all sorted (lots of paperwork from my end, including a refund and re-attributed purchase order, oops). But they handled it all for me, and so much thanks to Jaynie, Chris, Naida, Terri and Tammy for the team effort.

very good deal. This second time around we again got what we wanted all in 5 minutes on the phone to her. Very professional I thought.
Long story short: the mattress was sooo good that even though it was a bit of a cost we bought a second one for the guest room because we can't recall sleeping on a better mattress. It's incredibly stable yet comfortable, with an almost complete lack of movement, so assured, yet unbelievably comfortable. And that's coming from someone who has slept in many, many top hotels. Although summer is now finishing (even though Perth is still pretty warm) it also seems to have great heat dissipation. This is a very fine product for which we are very grateful - twice :-)
BTW, the delivery service was excellent too; quick, with a helpful SMS prior. Nice human touch to this business in our experience.
Terrible mattress and even worse service – I am elderly and small. In addition [Name Removed] never told me that that the Bedside tables and tallboy would arrive 4 months after the bed and monster mattress. I gave my old ones away and now living out of plastic bags.
Bed-n-dreams were aware that I was very unhappy with the purchase but no solution offered No after sales care at all. They don't even answer emails I so much regret not going to Bedshed or Bedbuyer on line who actually let you to return a mattress after you have slept on it! How good is that?

Endless spam texts – Bed has been great. Service was good. But be warned, they get your mobile number for “warranty purposes” and will send frequent spam texts. They have ignored may multiple attempts to unsubscribe to these. It'd be great to be able to purchase a product without being hounded by spam text messages for years.

Excellent Customer Service – I bought a gas lift bed last year and the lady who was helping me was fantastic. Very easy transaction and nice friendly helpful advice. Unfortunately the gas lift struts were faulty and I rang Beds n Dreams because it was still in warranty. No hassle at all, the guy was here the following week to fit new gas struts.
