How to set the time

Paul
Paul

Hi Richard, mine is still working great, after many years but that being the case you may have a more recent model. If all is still the same, this is how to set the clock. 1) Press the clock button, the button location is near enough to the exact middle of the control panel.

2) The first thing you see is "12 H" for using a 12 hour clock (am or pm). IF DESIRED A SECOND PRESS OF THE CLOCK BUTTON CHANGES IT TO A 24 HOUR TIME (where 1pm is 1300 hours, 2pm is 1400 hours...)

3) Next is setting the time itself, do this by pressing the minute or second buttons on the control panel, found directly below the clock button. The "Minute" button's set the hour of the day and the "second" button's sets the minutes.

4) When it reads the correct time, press the "clock" button again to lock the changes in.

I'll give an example, the time to be set is 11:04pm. *Press the clock button once to see 12 hour time *Press the 1 minute button to see "1", press the "10 minute" button so it reads 10:00, press the "1 minute" button to make it read 11:00. *Press the "second's" buttons in the same way to set the minutes, so press the "1 second" button until it says 11:04. *Press the "clock" button again to lock in the time setting.

I know that this all sounds like gibberish when you read this but if you read this whilst looking at the microwave at the same time it'll make sense. That's a key thing, for it to make sense you have to be looking at the microwave and reading this at the same time.

I wish you to have a good day and I hope I've been able to help.

Yours sincerely Paul

No sorry

Hi Rita, I'm popping in a link that you may find useful if you have an Android phone etc. If you have an iPhone etc I'm sure there are similar, it's a library of instruction manuals etc. I had a quick look and it does have a different Bellini microwave listed and they probably work the same. Hopefully one of these instructions manuals apps will be able to help. Also you can ask specific questions of me on here and I'll try to help, I may be able to answer them or track down our manual. external link

Ps I quickly looked up Bellini Australia on the internet and found this site which has the exact product listed and options to contact Bellini themselves. I hope I've helped.

My quick start button and stop/cancel button have stopped working and a little timer icon has presented itself in the bottom right corner of the top display window - just wondering if you can help me to remove this icon so the microwave functions mentioned above can be activated again. Thank you!

no sorry can not help with that

Paul

Hi Kirstie, I don't think I'm going to be of a lot of help but I'll try. With lots of electronic stuff turning off at the PowerPoint, waiting 60 seconds and then powering back up resets them. So my suggesting is to first try that.

After that comes the really unhelpful question of is it still under warranty. If yes, then contact the supplier.

If no, then I can suggest this as something to try but its pretty much a "Hail Mary" move. If where you've located the microwave has caused a build-up of steam then try 1)powering off overnight + 2) putting either an open box of bicarb soda or a cup of rice near the cooling vents (top and left side). Both are moisture absorbers. See if it works in the morning.

I know it's a nuisance and I really wish I could be more helpful. Best wishes & good luck

Paul

Hi Paul, Thanks for your reply. I tried turning on and off to no avail unfortunately. I will try the bicarb today and see if that helps. Will look into warranty, just disappointing to not have lasted very long.

Hi again Kirstie. Here's a link I ran across which should be able to help you. It's for Bellini Australia and has contact options. I hope all is now ok Yours sincerely Paul external link
