***WOMEN’S CLOTHING ONLY REVIEW*** The clothes have gone downhill in my opinion… all the spaghetti strap singlet tops as an example I find the straps just won’t stay up they keep sliding off the shoulders… the material of most women’s clothes are thicker than what they used to be and really not comfortable… not sure what’s happened but sadly won’t be buying from best and less anymore
Do not bother ordering all 15 of my items cancelled. Why put things on the website that you dont have. This is the second time I have had everything cancelled. Hurstville store is the worst. Waste of my time.
I brought four Viscose /nylon sun frocks have worn 2 of them a few time med only hand washed hung in shade and already big frayed holes in them absolutely rubbish can’t believe it I have clothes that are over 20 years old in better conditions never will I buy from them again they used to be top notch in nice not any more Show details

the money out of my account. I disputed the charge with my bank, and my bank refunded me. I gave B&L the benefit of the doubt and ordered an origin jersey. Got the wrong size, and a defective product. Apparently it's "STAE of origin" now. Complained, was asked for my order number. Sent it, was asked for the SKU? Told them idk what that even means, and they had my order number and could look themselves. They shut the case as resolved. Super poor customer service all around.
Not preferred online store – Order online to get it delivered. But it return to parcel collection from post office as the postie from p Australia Post couldn't wait for 40- 50 second at the front door. I even put my delivery preferences for order required signatures to be left at the front door. What a waste of time. So now it return back to sender. Too much effort.

Worst store ever Fairfield – Avoid Fairfield store. Click and collect one item and go and picked it up. Only to find out that it’s the wrong product in the package. Ring head office no communication back. From store or head office. Ring the store to be told that store manager isn’t in until Saturday. No wonder u get crap service

there was a problem with payment and I’ll be contacted again when they have an answer. Weeks pass. Then I email again. Nothing. I go to Facebook and I actually get a reply from the same person who had replied to my original email. I’m told to wait. Then nothing. No responses on Facebook or emails. I say I’m going to Dept of Fair Trading. Nothing back!
I contacted Fair Trading who were fantastic and got me the refund within days of contact. Order was made 30 June and I just got my refund at the end of September! Almost 3 months.
I am shocked that this company thinks it is allowed to just take orders and send nothing, do not respond and just hope customer goes away?!
What is this company DOING?! The absolute of basics is not being done!!! Too tight to have a proper customer service team (but as per recent news do they even pay employees properly?!)
All of the responses are the same on here ‘we care, we are so sorry’. Nope, they do not. It’s lip service and there is no one higher up addressing the issues.
In this climate, I doubt B&L will survive much longer.
Marked my order as collected and ignored support requests – I received no notification of my order being shipped out, in store for collection, no follow up either. I checked my junk mail etc. My online account says it’s collected. It’s never been collected. They initially replied to me saying they’d look into it then ignored me for months, and have not refunded.

Waited patiently for 8 days even though it was supposed to be shipped within 48 hours and then they cancel half my order and don’t give me the opportunity to cancel the rest before shipping it. I don’t want to pay $23 including shipping for a pair of kids socks and gloves…. I could have bought those items elsewhere. It was the items you canceled I desperately needed. Have never shopped here online before and won’t again
Fountain Gate store - excellent customer service – I had a great experience today with staff member Mia and Rae at Fountain Gate. They were so happy and helpful, it was a real delight. So many stores treat customers as a pest these days.

Then I realised that I would have to pay a lot more money for decent underwear fabric elsewhere. Lice are extremely hard to get rid of. The underwear looked nice, seemed ok but unfortunately after washing then wearing , lice were present. That is the only reason that they were rated terrible- due to lice being embedded in fabric.

Ordered windcheater & 2 track pants. All 3XL. None of what I received was what I ordered. Windcheater manufactures label was 'M', however Best and Less label was '3XL'. Manufactures size was correct. Track pants were to be cuffed legs. Both weren't.

Really not good – The checkout process is atrocious with the website unable to make a distinction between the billing address and the delivery address making it useless for sending gifts. I keep getting emails addressed to the delivery address as the biller address despite inputting both. God knows where the order will get delivered. Customer service requires repeat follow ups – Best and less sent me the wrong item, their website listing doesn’t match their stock codes. I had to phone them to get them to send a return satchel. Do not buy B&L's "soft touch cotton" clothing. Total rubbish, throwing your money down the drain – B&L have an absolute gall bringing this line of clothing back this year in the women's range. Last year I purchased 3 of their babydoll dresses & within a couple of weeks they developed small holes that just appeared in the garments at random. anywhere else in Australia ?. They just send off a generic e-mail to cancel a sale - No problem!!!. I then sent a query off to customer service, and they refused to answer. Their generic "Hi There..." response to any on-line customer inquiry is that they will review a customer query though not necessarily respond, which indeed they choose to ignore, not once but twice. I had a funny feeling that the scribbled down note would just get lost or “filed” so I emailed the customer service address and asked if I could be refunded for the item instead. I received a standard “we have received your email” response, but weeks later still haven’t heard back even though I’ve followed up. No word from the store either.
After reading the other reviews on here, it seems I’m not the only one who has been gypped by them.
If you need to order something online I’d go with a store that has better processes in place, like Kmart or Target. They’ve always been great to shop online with even when an item turns out to be unavailable. I won’t ever do Best n’ Less online again.
Buyer Beware. Check your bank, they may have taken more than they should – Paid online for click n collect. Next day bank showed $48.13 withdrawn by Best n Less in stead of $28.80. Numerous emails, still no refund. Call me, answer my emails. Have given copy of bank proof of illegal withdrawal of an extra $19.33.
Website is completely unusable – Cons 1. 90% of items are unavailable in most sizes. 2. When on a webpage, for each color/size combination, the whole webpage reloads 3. Website is slow 4. Most products are extremely poor quality at a very high price Pros 1. If you can actually find an in stock item, express delivery is available
I love best and less I go there more than any other shops I am new to doing this – OI haven't been on line before but shopping at best and less is great you know where everything is they have a great selection of clothes etc l have noticed that the quality of the products now are satisfactory no need to go anywhere else Show reply
