i had to wait quite some time for my bed, and yes i would like to know the same answer as Marlar Deane.

Hi Marlar, this is a great question and I love that you are doing your research on adjustable beds. I am the Director, Suzy, and can definitely give you the correct information. Firstly the fine you are referring to was issued to the previous owner- myself and my husband purchased Better Living Australia in July 2016, and has to make many changes to how things were being portrayed to customers. So the Motors we use in all of our beds are Okin Motors, Okin is a product designed and produced in Germany. Our beds are assemble and made in China, and we have no problems being transparent about that because the quality is so high because I have designed and selected everything used.

And with regards to the TGA, we are registered - so we have applied to the ARTG for a TGA registration and meet the requirements for out product to be classed as a medical product.

My only other query is, the 10 year warranty - is it for all the components including the mattress, as I was hoping that your product will last 10 yearsI, including the mattress. It's my pleasure Marlar, I must say that is quite the drive! I hope you have plenty of trivia to keep you busy along the way. Our 10 year warranty covers all moving components in the base, plus USB ports, LED lighting, massage motors and frame- basically everything. The pure fusion mattress is covered for the full 10 years as well. So in terms of cover for the mattress, if we can see a problem or feel a problem we replace it.

The bases will last you a lot longer than 10 years, should always be able to be functioning, as spare parts are an easy swap out in 20 or 30 years of there are any faults. The mattresses, like any other will need to be replaced at some stage but 15-20 years, or when you feel that they are not feeling the same for you.

The remote and mattress covers are 12 month warranty.

We have a storage facility in Sydney so will have no problems with delivery and installation for you when it's suitable.

Not sure as ours went into existing waterbed frame - we have the legs put away in case we ditch the waterbed frame and put the legs on. I imagine that certain sized plastic containers would fit underneath - without getting the legs out o the boxes, I would think approximately 15 cms high.

Hi Raeleen, it depends on the height your bed legs are set at but they should be set at 17cm- so that will be the clearance for the storage boxes underneath for you. Hope that helps. Thanks Suzy. Happy Sleeping zzz

Hi Ron, I haven’t had any problems with my bed at all. Mine is a double bed size and therefore there is no adjoining bed. It sounds a very annoying problem. Better Living Beds phone number is 1800 253 893. I think you should contact them. Something is not right.
