When I called the store to ask for help, I spoke with an assistant named John. Unfortunately, he was very rude and unhelpful. Instead of assisting me, he ended the call while I was still speaking, which I found very disrespectful.

Again, the delivery team did their job well, but the store’s customer service and lack of support after delivery were very disappointing.

Customer service was ok. But their product is very poor. I started getting back pain 2 years after purchase for a $5 k mattress. Mattress warranty is apparently void because of the slight gaps between the slates (of a very solid expensive base) which is clearly a scam. I do not recommend purchasing a mattress from them.

though it was always used with a mattress protector and treated carefully. This was not the level of firmness or quality I was led to expect. When I raised this with the store, I was not offered a refund and was told a replacement was my only option. I agreed to switch to a cheaper mattress (around $1,250 versus the original $1,500) but was then charged extra delivery and cleaning/sanitation fees, leaving me out of pocket by about $250 despite the original mattress failing to meet expectations. I don’t feel this outcome is fair, especially when a product does not perform as described. Overall, I feel let down by Bevmarks in terms of both mattress quality and after-sales support. I would urge anyone considering a purchase to be very clear on return, exchange, and warranty terms before committing, and to think carefully about whether this level of service meets their expectations.

and friendly. Colleen, another brilliant staff member, spent time with us discussing the technical side of the bed and base build, assuring us that it was a beautiful bed and very comfortable. The service we received was really impressive and I confidently purchased two Reflex 1200 Adjustable base beds with Fawkner Mattresses. Delivery went smoothly and the delivery team were lovely, assembling the beds easily and adjusting the height and bed location in the rooms for optimal space and safety. They removed the packaging and a mattress. We are loving our new beds and we thank Mario and Colleen for their patience and support as I struggled to part with my ornate iron and brass beds and I highly recommend them for all your bedding needs.

what we were after, and a few other questions. Showed us a few options, but not too many that we were overwhelmed. Discussed deals that they currently had, and again was not pushy whatsoever. He had time for us, and my partner and him even had a chat about their love of history! His product knowledge was great, and he linked back to things we had mentioned in our chat about what we were after. He also helped my partner find the perfect pillow, and by no means is this an easy task! He’s been searching for the perfect pillow for years. We opted for the ‘Athlete’ pillow, which he also did a deal for us on. We ended up purchasing a new mattress and pillows, and everything was processed smoothly. After a day of very confusing mattress shopping it was a real relief to get to Bev Marks and speak to Vishakha. She helped us narrow down what we were actually looking for and found us something that matched our requirements and budget. She made shopping for a mattress so much easier!

hard, it made concrete look soft. After three hours of use, both my partner and I had severe back pain from the mattress and were unable to use it. My partner contacted the store, only to be told that they wouldn't speak to her regarding the matter unless we sent an email. After we sent an email, I spoke with a store representative the following day who basically said to put up with it, or, just sit on it and let them know in two weeks because it will take time to soften up. Not to state the obvious, but we never had this issue with the previous mattress, so it clearly was not the same as my last mattress. We are now left with a mattress we can't use, and the store couldn't care less. Clearly, the store only cares about getting your money, once they have it, they won't help you or come up with a sensible solution. I guess the matter is now going to have to get delt with by Consumer Affairs. Buyer beware, stay away from this dodgy store.

Good, bad and ugly! – Staff in the shop EXCELLENT!!! Ricky was attentive, helpful, showed me what I asked for and made wise, useful suggestions for a small upgrade. I did not feel pressured. They said they could not remove the plastic cover and had no time to wait for me to remove the plastic. One suggested I could just get scissors for the plastic and then tip the mattress onto the bed. I am a 158cm 84-year-old great grandmother- "Just flip the double bed mattress"???? I had also paid $75 for removal of my old mattress - the same young men removed it. What was the extra payment for?

Aggressive and rude sales practices – They were really trying to push a sale, but ended up being overly aggressive, rude and chauvinistic. Spent more time bagging competitors than explaining his products. Wouldn’t want to buy from this place. Show details

I went to a bunch of bed shops and nothing was quite right. When I went into Bevmarks, Vishakha was super helpful. She understood exactly what I was looking for and created a package for me that I felt was excellect value. She was flexible with the payment plan and communicative with plans for delivery. Were very happy with our new beds – Kenn was our sales person in store at Bevmarks. He was very polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. Delivery time was as promised. bed was delivered. However, this was the fault of the manufacturer, not the store. Again it was rectified immediately.

All the staff at the Maribyrnong store were involved during the incident with the driver, and bed error and they were all helpful and professional.

My boys love their new beds.

Would happily buy and recommend from Kenn and Bevmarks again.

Good old fashion customer service exists here! – What a wonderful experience from the moment I stepped in the door of bevmarks. A business I had never heard of before.
