I cracked my polygon frame after 4 years of hard use. Filed for a warranty claim and within about two and half weeks of making that claim received a new frame in a large as I requested (coming from a medium) and a brand new rear shock!

happy riding. Staff were friendly, upbeat, and passionate about their bikes. I went to bikes online because at the end of the day I got far better componentry and value for money than had I gone to a bike shop. My local bike shop were quite aggressive and persistent in my bike search, and kept telling me the benefits of buying from a shop for the service. I doubt they'd even come close to the service I got from bikes online today. Thanks guys.

Massive shout out to Brad Prescott at BikesOnline. I bought a Marin Mountain Pine off him 6 months ago for a bikepacking trip. Initially we had a couple of technical tweaks that he was all over without any issues. I have just completed a 700km ride in Kyrgyzstan and the bike handled beautifully. Worst customer service ever! – Terrible systems that are not customer focused. would pass on my request. By the next day I got notified the original order was being prepared and sent, and eventually got another email saying no changes are possible after an order is made. Only option given to me was to return the item for exchange, including paying a new postage fee for the exchanged item. It’s outrageous that a company would put customers to such a massive level of inconvenience (and extra cost), when they could simply provide customer focused systems to allow adjustments to orders if requests are timely. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to sort out any other problems a customer might encounter with them. I am extremely disappointed and will not order from Bikes Online again.

my concerns and having a discussion with the customer service manager (Bromley) we came to a fair agreement for a new pricing, noting the issue was a genuine tech error (due to transition to a new IT system I was advised). From there the bike was delayed due to out of sequence processing and manual work arounds, however I was put in touch with a personal customer service member (Ferd), who was great and gave me regular updates of what was going on. Given the issue was no one’s fault and BikesOnline came to the table with an agreement, I can’t say the experience was great however these things happen and the service I received from Bromley and Ferd was great, I also received the bike (for my wife) and it was another top quality product. I will definitely continuing shopping with BikesOnline knowing they are committed to upholding their business integrity and values. This is now my third bike purchased from them and this is the only time something came up which they rectified, you can’t ask for more than that from a big company!

Cannot complain about the service, , but good on you guys, , how am I supposed to hide this dirty big bike in a box now , until my little boys Birthday ! Troy. As a follow up to this initial Review , it is now March 2025 , this bike longer term has been faultless in operation not even requiring a tweak for the shifting , my little boy started on this bike with the seat down low but had No Issue with putting his knees through his teeth due to Polygon actually thinking to put shorty cranks on this bike . He loves the shifting and climbing ability and never dropped a chain off also due to the clutched derailer and additional chain guide fitted whilst hammering through corregated type rocky trails . He has grown with the bike with ample adjustment in seat height/rail adjustment along with air fork pressure/pre-sag adjustment to suit his weight , and although a pretty entry level fork , I don't find the need to continually recheck or pressurise them , and they surprisingly seem to have enough travel being a kids bike and not getting overly knarly with it . Hydraulic Brakes are a game changer and although not a big brand name , they have plenty of stopping power on steep descents for a kids weight and modulation is fine . I have only lightened this bike a bit with carbon bars , seat , seat post and pedals . When initially shopping for a quality "Brand name" bike in Australian stores , I could find NOTHING locally available to compete with the quality components offered on this Polygon X-Trada 24 , that actually concider the needs of a younger rider and more aggressive geometry. Big name locally sourced bikes still come with Non adjustable heavy spring forks , long cranks which are downright unsafe being so close to the ground/rocks , and generally inadequate brakes , they do not concider the young rider in the least and will Cost you More . Additionally you "Could not" build up a bike to this spec , with retail purchased parts anywhere near the price of purchasing this bike complete from Polygon through bikes online - not possible . Not a criticism of the bike concidering what you get for your money , but it is a bit weighty mostly due to the wheel and tyre combination , but unless your racing competition , it isn't an issue . This is a God's honest review from a Stickler Dad who spends a long time scrutinising product prior purchase ! You get Alot of bike for your money without going over the top on something they will only grow out of , but in the meantime they will really enjoy the quality that helps Improve their riding and keep them engaged in an activity away from God dam Electronic mindless devices ! If your kids are into it , the difference between a $600 - $800 bike , and what you get with this $999- bike is huge and money Well Spent .

I ordered bike tubes and tyre change tools. Waited 14 days without acknowledgement of postage before I contacted. Was advised they would follow up. 3 days later I received a message that due to a stocking error the tubes could not be sent and they would send only the tyre change tools. Ultimately credit to them in that I did get a full refund, albeit very late and after the tools made their way back to their warehouse. However the communication was a shocker and the professionalism of the staff was non-existent. Very disappointed.
Ordered 2 x helmets for my sons on the 13th of December. Said 2-4 business days. Still haven't received on the 31st of December and they will not answer phone calls or emails.

Shop elsewhere if you want a bike to ride – Service is completely non existent. Time to ship bike out the door was 10 days longer than another shop I bought from at the same time. Bike has no relevant assembly instructions and company does not answer the phone. Time is money - I have wasted a lot of time and still cannot ride the bike.

everything is ok. I have to buy pedals separately. So is the bike a bike without pedals? When you want to buy a bike from them check if the wheels are in the specifications otherwise you receive the bike without them. Horrible customer service based on AI.
