friend will be there and I will give my friend my drivers licence

to my friend but he told me that's not necessary.

At 1300 my friend called me and said that the delivery driver won't leave the tv

unless I am there. When I went there he told me that because we changed our

address 4-5 times and we live at an area full of "junkies" he needed to see me.

I would have really appreciated if he would have given me a call about his change

of mind that he wants to see me.

You guys should not sell any tv's in an area which you think are full of "junkies".

was dropped off as promised. Unfortunately since then I've had a fault with the PVR, but this was resolved by the manufacturer easily using my Big Brown Box receipt.

for warranty. As this was not a manufacturing fault (just rough handling in the warehouse or rough delivery) they couldn't help. At the end of the day we have a very expensive faulty TV! We have been so disappointed with the whole experience!

Worst Place Ever – Extremely disgusting customer services because I tried to ring them about my Samsung HT-E4500 3D Bluray Player and explain that the sound wasn't coming out of the speakers and that when I was trying to play bluray discs it kept skipping. They couldn't careless about their customers so I would strongly advice not to buy any more products from them in the future since they were very rude and abusive to me. They sell bad products

follow up email almost straight after the confirmation explaining the delivery process and that i would receive a phone call prior to delivery. I didn't realise i would have to be home for delivery as they mentioned ID check and a signature, so i emailed them requesting for it to be left on my doorstep. They responded within an hour or so and said that i would need to send an email confirming that i am taking responsibility if damaged/stolen once delivered to the doorstep. I was fine with this and sent them a confirmation email agreeing. Done and done. I left a sign on my front door requesting they put the towel i left on the doorstep over to cover it and to remove the sign once they did - which they did! It was fantastic service. I am yet to use my blender so cannot comment at this time on the product itself but am very impressed with Big Brown Box's website/ordering, customer service and their delivery service. It was a really great experience and will definitely shop with them again. Fast delivery, excellent price, great communication

Indeed .. It was terrible – I ordered a product - price was good. and decided to get it delivered to my work. I don't carry my passport to work, but the delivery driver wanted to see my passport to confirm who I was. The delivery location on the order was correct, as was the person (me) being delivered to, and so was the phone they called me on, and so was the credit card… Read more

I bought on - all of which I showed the delivery person. None of which mattered they wanted a passport to be able to confirm delivery!!

This company is a joke! .. even Australia Post make the delivery process easier! I would not recommend using them! Price Service

was told there had been no progress on my return as "we have a backlog of emails". Great I thought.... Well at least the support rep I spoke to processed my return and organised a replacement set. A week goes past and no TV, eventually it does arrive and is in good condition. Around 3 weeks later I receive an invoice for the replacement set !!!! What! they are charging me for the replacement TV... About now alarm bells start ringing that this mob are either dodgy or hopelessly disorganized, maybe both. Call 1300 again and spoke to a support rep who casually informs me "oh yeah, we know that some bad invoices went out... just ignore it", I was not even asked for my invoice number or customer number. I would have at least expected an updated invoice.... but no. So next thing I am expecting is for the local Sheriff to show up demanding payment on a bad debt or my credit history to be marked by a non-existent TV debt. DON'T RISK IT - Buy from a store, at least then you have a face to deal with. Left feeling unhappy about the whole transaction.

as they would send us a consignment note number and we could track delivery progress ourselves.

After a few days I queried what was happening and was told via email that" I will look into your problem with the freight company" as if it was my issue and they were doing me a favour. Told them I just wanted to know and I could not track anything as I did not have a con number. Eventually told our order had been overlooked, no apology and a con note number "will be with you this afternoon" Huh two days later con note number arrives...and that is another story with another company. Eventually tele did arrive, over two weeks late as although the company is registered in Sydney, freight comes from Western Australia. The price The mucking around, the stress, being told one thing but getting another.

(Appalled that they try to rip people off just because they don't ask for a better price and for those that can't or don't like to haggle!) But, I would have to pick both up, obviously not in my small car and I would have to find a way of getting my RP TV out the door. They then told me that they were out of stock of the surround and it would be two weeks.. but I could take the TV now. With the speakers on new TVs nowdays - not worth it.

The Big Brown Box had both items in stock, would do free delivery and take away our 100kg rear projection TV for free. I ordered it after lunch on a Thursday and it was delivered the next morning. I received two emails and received a phone call in the morning confirming the 2 hour window delivery. It took way longer and with more stress to put it together than my dealings with BBB.

I can't recommend them highly enough. The service, the communication, professionalism and of course price were all great.

This was my first order with BBB and when needed, I will turn to them again.

With respect to delivery - we do live in a major city and I was on holidays at the time so I was flexible on delivery times. Price, service and not needing to haggle and doubt whether you got the best price.

Delighted with this product – Bought a tv set for my friend who is quite the critic to say the least from this site. To my relief, she is absolutely delighted with this unit. Excellent customer service – I rarely write reviews (especially positive ones!) but my husband ordered a speaker from these guys and the experience was pleasantly surprising. They were very efficient when it came to updating the status of the package, calling on the morning of delivery with an accurate two hour window for delivery and then being prompt and friendly. Reliable, excellent service.

Outstanding – Wonderful allround service. From initial email contact/confirmation to final delivery I had 3 emails, 1 text and 1 personal call to confirm the 2-hour collection window. Yes you have to be there to sign, but excellent if you have flexibility with your time to be at home. I could not fault this service. Will certainly recommend.

before delivery and were professional and on time and importantly handled my TV carefully and took away the old one. After a day or two I noticed a single pixel was stuck on red, was quite hard to spot unless black on screen but rung up BIG BROWN BOX and they dispatched a replacement the next day. Apparently is quite rare to get a stuck pixel on a samsung straight out of the box but I didn't really mind as BIG BROWN BOX was nice about it and assured me at all times and was a easy replacement. I will certainly be using them for future tech/appliance purchases as they win on price and service! Professional

would be a simple matter of calling Big Brown Box to get the missing screws. How wrong could I have been?

First of all, I was told to call Sony, which I duly did – only to be told that they couldn’t do anything and that Big Brown Box would have to do a swap out. I relayed this to Big Brown Box who were reluctant to do a swap out. Five phone calls later after speaking with [names removed] - everyone it seems, except the manager [name removed] (who either couldn’t be bothered or didn’t want to speak to me), they agreed to Express Post me screws from a model that they already had. Only problem was - the screws didn’t fit. Another 3 phone calls later and almost a week later, I told them they could pick up the TV and give me a full refund. Only time will tell whether they actually turn up tomorrow as promised. Epic fail!!

ordered on a Wednesday afternoon and the items were delivered the following Tuesday,all in perfect working order! The only thing I would note is that BBB's website said they would be delivered in 2 weeks so I actually wasn't expecting delivery when they came and the courier didn't ring ahead like he was supposed to, but that wasn't BBB's fault. In any case I was pleased that they turned up earlier than expected. I also ordered a Blu Ray home theatre system which was also cheaper than the local stores so all up I think I saved $1K - a significant saving. Delivery was $64 but that was nothing compared to the saving in price. So to all Tasmanians-you can do better than what the local shops are offering! Good price, quick delivery, no pushy salesman confusing me and trying to sell me warranties I don't want

one tv was expected to be delivered but come the afternoon I was told they were not going to deliver, I rang furious and after 9 phone calls someone came down that evening with the tv.

I was then told my other tv would not come till March! I was then going to miss out on the cashback offer from when I bought it. Another 19 phone calls later, with me doing all the chasing and promises of I would be phoned which I never was, my other tv has arrived today nearly 6 weeks late and I am still missing a surround sound as they had given away my one to someone else. But they have offered to send one from their office in Perth for free delivery, my reply was of course it should be free I should have had it 6 weeks ago!

Big brown box do have great prices, although their free delivery is only if you live in a capital city, which a large chunk of the population do not. If I call the people are apologetic and always friendly, but they really need to sort out their ordering system and if they promise to phone you back, they need to do it. God knows how long my tv would have sat in the warehouse unless I had to be pushy and chase them. Prices, friendly staff Free-Devliery only if you are in a capital, poor stock management, long wait to get items (over 6 weeks), dont return phone calls

No issues whatsoever – I've ordered a few items from Big Brown Box. Not only are they chepear than what I found in stores but the service is amazing. They kept me informed about the progress of my orders and were very polite on the phone. The delivery driver was on time and called well in advance to let me know when it expect him. I cannot fault them. Would definitely buy from again. Great prices, great service! Honestly no cons at all

contractors on the morning of the delivery to let us know an anticipated time of delivery which is really refreshing.

I also, on the same day, purchased a new dishwasher from their sister-store, AppliancesOnline.com.au (without, at the time, realising they had the same management) and can happily report that the purchase and delivery experience were identical.

I will, without doubt, be purchasing again from bigbrownbox & appliancesonline. Prices and customer service.
