Hi, what's the method for drying small salted fish like pilchards in the BioChef dehydrators. What's the temperature setting I have to set and how long I have to dehydrate till it get dehydrated fully. and also where can I buy spare non-stick sheets like accessories ? Thanks so much.

Hi Krys, thank you for getting in touch. You can not go wrong with any of the BioChef models for Beef Jerky. It really just depends on what size you are looking for. We have 6 tray, 8 tray. 10 tray and all the way up to 30 Tray. They all basically have the same functionality, it basically comes down to which design you prefer. I've just got this dehydrator and I'm surprised to find the timer only works in half hour units. The instructions say to run it for 45 min empty before use. Doubly confused. Is this user failure or does it only time by half hour slots? Thank you for your advice.
Hi Danielle its ok you can set it for an hour. It wont do any harm as the dehydrator runs for 4 - 6 hours plus anyway. That is a typo in the manual. You can definitely set the timer for the hours needed by just pressing the plus/timer sign. Directions are in the manual. Any issues please let us know. Regards Bec V4L
Does the bio chef Arizona 10 tray have a drip tray? If not is it hard to clean the drips from juicy fruit like figs and mango?

Hi Rachael it actually has a high quality perspex window. :o)
The front door has a big clear Perspex window. Our dehydrator gets a good workout and the Perspex is still like new.
