I’m hoping the Bosch Helpdesk can assist with my problem.

My brand new induction stove (PIV975DC1E) was installed by an electrician (connected to a new dedicated 6mm cable, 50Amp breaker) 8 days ago and immediately displayed error E05 03 on the left hand three of the five hotplates.

When I searched online for the fault, all I could see was advice to try turning the power off for five minutes then back on again (that didn’t work), but otherwise it seems other purchasers have had to have their stove replaced by Bosch because the power regulator was faulty.

I called the Bosch Service line and was referred to Bunneys Appliance repair. They booked me in for today, then texted me today to ask me to book a service (again??) and now say they can’t come until 1 August…3 weeks and 4 days after I reported the issue.

I called Bosch again and was told there are no other approved appliance repairers covering the eastern suburbs of Sydney so the job couldn’t be reallocated to a firm with better availability. I just have to wait.

Unsurprisingly, I find this wait time unsatisfactory, particularly since I anticipate that the end result will be me having to wait even longer to receive a replacement cooktop.

Is there any way of getting escalated consideration of my problem, such as by sharing photos of the error code displaying on my cooktop?

Thanks, Jocelyn

Does this cooktop need to be installed with a 15amp circuit or will a standard 10 amp socket suffice?

It's not wired correctly - Single Phase connection has some brass fittings that share across the 3 phase inputs. Similar problem during our install. Take a closer look at the install manual.
