what is the difference between the Bosch PVS675FB53 and the PXE651FCIE models of induction cooktops

Did you need to buy new cookware for your induction hotplates?

Depends on your cookware, it has to be magnetic or it won't work.

Use a fridge magnet to check.

I agree - check by sticking a fridge magnet (or any magnet!) to the bottom of the cookware. If a magnet sticks to your pan, it will likely be induction friendly. Most cookware also states on the bottom whether it's able to be used with induction. And yes - I did buy new saucepans! But my larger cookware was all induction friendly!
