My Braun thermometer IRT 6520 has all of a sudden lost its age precision function. I changed the batteries for new ones and now it just doesn’t show as an option on the screen to select any of the age groups. Is there a reset or any ideas what I can do to get it back?

Hi, I purchased the Braun Irt6529 thermometer some time ago. It was all working fine until i needed to replace the batteries. As soon as i replaced batteries, it has lost age precision function. I did nothing other than just inserting new batteries. I spent a lot of money on it and was not expecting it to be so temperamental. Could you please help. Thanks

How do you turn the sound on the IRT4520?
Is the warranty valid if purchased on Amazon Australia?
Hi Elizabeth. If it is purchased directly from Amazon.com.au - this should be covered under warranty, however if it is purchased from a third party seller on Amazon Marketplace - it may not be. The best thing to do would be to send through a copy of your purchase receipt to our Customer service team (cservice@fgb.com.au) and they will be able to advise specifically. Thanks! Braun.
My thermometer has stopped bleeping, I don't know if it's giving the correct reading it seems lower. I have put in new batteries and still not beeping. Anyone else have this issue?

Hi, my device won't read the temperature it keeps saying H1 or HI not sure which one but it's not working. What can I do?
Hi Chanette M. The "HI" error generally means that the temperature is not within range for the thermometer to be able to read it. To resolve this we suggest, to make sure the probe tip and lens are clean and a new, clean lens filter is attached. Make sure the thermometer is properly inserted. Then, take a new temperature. My braun thermoscan fell on the floor and started after that giving wrong readings. Too high 40 degrees or just shows H1. Any help?
Hi Reem n. Sorry for the delay! These thermometers do use precision technology to take the readings, and a drop can affect the operation of the unit. The units do have a 2 year warranty (with a purchase receipt) and you will be able to send the unit in for our team to see if they can resolve the issue for you. When taking my child's temperature the thermometer beeps twice (supposedly indicating an elevated temperature of 99.5) but the temperature shown on the display is 98.2. So I'm not sure if her temp is high or low. Any suggestions? Thank you

My 4020 is showing that it is not registering the probe cover but I have changed the cover and the same error message appears Kind regards Wendy
My Braun Pro 4000 Thermoscan doesn't turn off, neither automatically nor by pressing the power switch. The issue is that it leads to the drainage of battery and even leakage when the thermometer is not used for say 2-3 months. Any help?

If I understood you correctly, the product has been designed specifically to be more accurate about newborn and toddlers but it really it is not working in the real world scenarios. The showing temperature is more than the real temperature and due to it we went to emergency two times with its false alarm.
I would like to know whether we can use PC 20 ears filters for braun IRT6520 . I know we can isle LF 20, 40 ., But not sure of PC . Kindly advise. Tx
Hello, My Braun thermoscan 7 have broblem with the temperature. From the beginning there was a measurement problem when the temperature ,it was too high. Now the temperature starts from 39.2 degrees Celsius. Is there a way to calibrate the device and check if it can be repaired?
My IRT 6520 is brand new out of the box. It seems to read the temperature ok but does not beep so I do not know how long I have to hold it in the ear to get an accurate reading. I need it to take my own temperature readings on a regular basis. What can I do?
