Hi, Just bought a LBM200. On wholemeal Clock starts at 3hr 55min. When is the end of the second knock-down to remove the paddle. ?? Have been removing the paddle on an old bb280 at 2hrs 15min all AOK for many yrs. Appears there is no Breville staff answering here. Asked question 3 weeks ago. When is the end of the second knock-down.??
I'm making my second loaf of white bread and after having a look it doesn't seem to have kneaded much at all. It's not smooth as I would have expected. I have had several breadmakers over the years so I know what it should look like.
How do I get the paddle out? It seams to be stuck
make sure the pan is empty pour boiling water over the paddle and fingers crossed that should do it.
And if that doesn’t work?
I have a breville lbm200 and making 1/2 wholemeal and 1/2 stoneground loaf. I have tried several times and the dough is not mixing properly (I have checked paddle ok and locked in place) and pushed to one side. In fact one side has no dough there at all. very disappointing. I have put in extra yeast as this is a heavier mix.
Hello where can i get spare paddles in melbourne Cheers John rittmo4@gmail.com
Is there a PREHEAT cycle before kneading?
I don't think there is, due to the fact it has to mix the ingredients. That said, I've looked in the booklet and can't find anything about preheating.
How do I set a delay starter timer on my LBM200?
Ive not used the delay..... But, ...thinking that increasing the timer would give extra cooking time , thus making a darker crust, adjusted said timer on basic mode and the little ****** didn't start until those extra mins were used..
How long is the preheat for wholemeal bread?
Just bought a new LBM200 and although there is a picture of a multigrain loaf on the packaging there is no setting. Any suggestions for the setting for premixed multigrain bread?
How to make less crispy bread
Hello I am making sourdough and only using my bread maker for the mixing of the dough. Can it handle mixing 1000 g of flour mixed with 600grams water?
how do i change the size of loaf once it has already started
You can't. You have to power it off and restart.
Sorry not correct, push and hold the Start/Cancel button until it beeps and then you can change the loaf size
My LBM200 won’t knead regardless of the menu I choose. I had checked all visible places and nothing is obstructing it. Does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks.
I am having the same issue , was working fine for 7 months and now it sounds like the motor has seized as heard a whirrr sound now nothing
we have the same issue did not start kneading
What am I ment to do with the kneading dough hook, I can’t find anything in the instructions
I bought Breville LBM200 in Dec 2020 and it doesn't bake at all. Bread flour rises well but doesn't cook.. I selected option 1-Basic which includes the Bake option and then tried only to bake but with no luck. How to fix this issue.
As the mixture sticks to the blade leaving a large hole in the well cooked loaf,, has anybody had the blade polished or brushed and chromed shiny finished????????? John
I always spray the blades with canola cooking spray and use the blade extractor hook. granted there will still be a hole, but it will be much smaller
have found an electro plating place ,,will try talk to them see what they think,, have tried another suggestion by pulling the mixture out and remove blade ,,bit messy but it worked ,,,on going
I pull out the blade just before it starts baking and end up with just a small hole in the bottom of the loaf.
ok thanks will try , after get timing right for when to remove blade
As Teresa B says, the best is to remove the paddle just before the bake cycle. I can't find the timings for the different cycles. If I knew how long each cycle was I could set a timer so I don't have to watch the machine constantly. Does anyone know the timings of the individual cycles?
Well this was a horrible waste of money. I made a medium loaf. Followed the instructions, couldn't remove the paddle without leaving a huge creator, the bread smells yeasty and is undercooked. For a machine which is incredibly noisy whilst working, the finish beeps are so quiet we could hardly hear them. Oh yes the warning beeps went off but nothing showed on the display. Breville you should be proud of this one.
