Grandparents dream Pram – What an amazing pram, so easy to push and move around the shops, light weight, easy to put up and down and get into the car. My granddaughter loves it and sleeps so well in it. Show details · 1
Not grandma friendly ! – No doubt this is a quality product BUT in my view it is over engineered . Having to pull the seat out in order to fold it and get it in a car is not easy and cumbersome . My preference would be the old technology - one press at the bottom and everything folds . It’s not car or grandma friendly that is for sure .
Good design but very questionable build quality and gear components – I think the design and concept is great. We have the turtle car seat and the chameleon 3 pram. It's easy to fold the pram and getting bub in and out with the turtle is a breeze. Unfortunately, the central locking joint on the Chameleon 3 chassis has failed after only 5 months. This means that the handle bar is wobbly, loose and flexes… Read more
excessively.
The central locking joint is just a small plastic gear with two (very small) plastic pins (I have attached an image render of the part). So, only four very small plastic pins hold the handle bars in place and they are prone to failure.
We have just had our chassis replaced under warranty (to Bugaboo's credit), but we have been told that we can't pull the pram up and down stairs and that nothing can be hung from the handlebar as this would not be "correctly using" the pram. Note: Bugaboo sell an organiser bag which is specifically listed as being compatible with Chameleon 3 and have numerous photos on their website of prams going down stairs and being tilted up over gutters. But you aren't allowed to use it as depicted in the images.
I'm grateful that the chassis has been replaced under warranty, however, I can safely say that we have been very careful with the pram up until this point, and it has only been used for 5 months before breaking. I just don't think it's good enough.

Love it! – Good sized pram, easy to push and is a smooth ride. The hood is a great size, the bassinet is great and bigger than a lot of other bassinet prams. Love all the different colours you can get. I purchased this 2nd hand but it feels brand new! Great quality pram! Show details · 1

Well worth it! – I kept seeing bugaboo pop up in recommendations but I was very much daunted by the price however I am now completely satisfied. Number 1. I know it’s superficial but it looks really good. Less like clunker on wheels and more like a stylish convertible. Strangely important when it’s hard to get dolled up as a new mum. 2. The tires aren’t filled… Read more · 1
with air so they don’t puncture. I have friends with prams and this happens to them. Not to me. 3. The fact that it’s so easy to take apart is immensely helpful. The white button system makes it so easy to know what is removable too. And everything is just clicks in and out so easy. My pram goes in and out of the boot of small cars filled with various items and just being able to pop off that one wheel that’s sticking out with the click of a button and push it back on just as easily is a life saver. 3.2 I also took it with me on a trip to the uk as well as flying interstate to see family regularly. Lots of packing and unpacking. Super easy. 4. So smooth and easy to manoeuvre. I have terrible coordination and it helps that it doesn’t feel like I’m pushing a tank through the shopping centre. 5. Good quality materials means it’s built to last. I plan on having the same pram for each of my kids. Prams go through a lot and mine still looks good as new after 2 years. 6. Both of my kids sleep so easily in the pram. Suspension must be amazing because they sleep like the babies they are even when sightseeing through the busy cobblestoned streets of Dublin. 7. You can turn the pram seat and the handles around. Child can change view or move handles out of the way in a restaurant. Really helpful.
If you want a stylish good quality pram to last then get a bugaboo.
I don’t know why people like it so much – I was gifted this pram for my 2nd child and I feel bad for the money spent on it as we can’t wait to pass it on. Apart from how it looks, and its nice smooth ride, it’s honestly got little to recommend it. It is so incredibly bulky and heavy - I have an SUV and it takes up the entire boot. The basket underneath is almost inaccessible when you’re… Read more
using the bassinet, and the contents fall out as it flips over when you collapse the pram.
The brake takes two hands to release, and its click is noisy for a sleeping baby (as is the popping noise of the canopy hood extending). We purchased a replacement canopy because I wasn’t a fan of the colour that was chosen for us and it sits flimsily even though properly installed.
Most actions on the pram require two hands. You can’t hang a bag off it without a heavy carabiner hook. The stroller settings are awkward - at fully upright bub is almost falling out, and when lying back their feet are in the air. I also find the stroller seat small compared to say a Maclaren. It has so many attachments and parts I find it really cumbersome.
So many people love this pram so I guess I’m in a minority, but there are other prams that cost less and don’t come with these annoying quirks.

Love my Bugaboo Cameleon - Atelier Edition – My baby was lucky to be gifted the Bugaboo Cameleon Atelier by my parents before she was born (purchased at Baby Kingdom). The pram is great quality and very sturdy. As a new born, my baby would nap in the bassinet around the house and loved her daily walks as she was always cozy. It is quite large and very comfortable. suspension is smooth. The only negatives are that the basket underneath is hard to get to and small. You can’t hang a bag from the handle bar and The leatherette handle is starting to peel as well which is very disappointing.
At 3 months, baby transitioned to the seat (she was getting bored laying down all the time) and she absolutely loves it! In this mode the negative is that the straps were in line with her ears as they are attached to the seat. She enjoys the 3 different reclining positions and loves facing me on her daily adventures (she’s 5.5 months now). I’m sure when she’s one she will love to face the world and this pram allows both parent facing and outward facing depending on what baby prefers (one of the reasons we were gifted this pram).
We are a very active family and this bugaboo does well on pathways, shopping centres and short grass when small wheels are at the front. However, in long grass and bumpy/rough terrain we ensure the large wheels are at the front but steering is not great, which is a bummer. Unfortunately the small wheels at the front are not good on rugged terrain.
In all, our daughter loves her Bugaboo Atelier pram. She gets very excited when we put her in it as she knows she’s off on her daily adventure. She looks comfortable and likes it when we attach a toy on the mid bar. We are very happy with the pram as it is safe and sturdy. We don’t mind that it is two parts when you have to put it into the boot. We use it more than once a day so you get used to it and very quick at putting it together and packing it up. It fits in our boot perfectly (Mazda Cx5).

Bugaboo Cameleon – I love my Bugaboo Cameleon 3. The turning circle is great, dad loves doing donuts and zipping round the house during lockdown. The I love the wheels, the ability to power through different terrain really makes a difference. We live in a hilly area and compared to other prams on sloping hills this one is a breeze. The bassinet is longer than some… Read more · 1
others on the market which came in handy for us, because bub was so long. The three different seated positions come in handy once you transition to the seat. The canopy extends ensuring the sun is out of bubs eyes but it can be a little flimsy when bub begins playing with it. To make cleaning easier you will want to get a liner. But everything generally comes off and fits in the washing machine. Now the only down fall... It's not compact. I could fit it into a Getz, but it wasn't easy. Plus it folds in two, a single fold is ideally what I wanted. But overall this has been a great pram.
Great all rounder – After a lot of trial & error in the first couple months we finally settled on the Cameleon. You could say I was a pram addict, but I was really just trying to find one that suits everything I needed & a lot of prams would suit one thing but not another... the Cameleon suited mine & bubs every need. I love the 2 piece fold as both parts are light.… Read more · 1
By far it has the lightest steering can push with one finger & turn on a dime. Can't rate it more highly. If I could find just one thing wrong it would be that my bubs grew out of it too quickly at about 2 & a half years old.
Excellent – This pram was well worth the price. Easy to use, strong, safe and reliable. I used it sever times a day and loved the features. Additionally the add on features such as cup holder etc were an extra luxury. My child loved being in it. To add resale value is great. Mine was in mint condition and sold in days. Show details · 1

Gorgeous looking pram but not user friendly – Used this pram for 10 months from newborn age. Eventually sold it and bought a lighter travel pram as it was too clunky and hard to get in and out of the car. Would not purchase the same pram. - doesn’t fold in one piece (trust me you want this when you get the pram out several times a day)! - basket is way too small and awkward to use… Read more
(especially with the bassinet attached, it’s basically unusable!)
Other than that it does look beautiful. I had the classic version and it was lovely to push and could steer one handed. Loved that I could face my baby too. The cons just outweigh the pros for me and there are many other lighter prams out there these days that parent face and look nice!

Wish I done more research before buying this pram – Not happy with this pram at all especially after all the good reviews i had read, I was expecting a lot more for the price. I don't think there's anything i can compliment it on, Its extremely heavy and bulky, i own a Holden Captiva and it takes up the entire boot if i have shopping it all ends up sitting on top of the pram, everything with this… Read more
pram needs 2 hands to do so, from attaching and removing the seat, reclining the seat, even undoing the break needs 2 hands. The under basket is a nightmare to get anything in and out of it, and then when you fold the pram everything falls out of the basket. I had purchased different hoods for it and they look and sit very flimsy, not tight and firm making it look like a cheap doggy pram. When using the stroller seat the positions are all very awkward, its either too far forward or too far back, when its in the most up right position the canopy hangs so far forward that you can't see bub and he looks as though his going to fall out, then in the next recline position which seems to far back that his little neck strains from holding his head forward trying to see out its so far back like his semi lying making the sun forever in his face, then the next recline which is lying position the seat tilts back so his legs are raised higher than his head. I just wish i done my research and test drove before I paid $1500 to have such an unconventional pram, Now only 10 months later with baby no.2 on the way can not wait to sell this pram and purchasing a different brand double pram

Not happy with the service – Good pram but not happy with the service. We bought the pram a year ago and didn’t know that we have to register online to get extra one year warranty. No one told us to do it online. So last two days we send an email to bugaboo to request for the extra warranty. And they refused to extend it for me. Very disappointed as we are very royal customer. We bought 2 Prams and cost us nearly $3000. Show details

Best pram! – This is our second Chameleon! Def worth every penny. Baby loves it, I love it and they are so well made.
Good for city life – I really liked this pram. Not too heavy and easy to move around living in a city. It has a good size basket and bassinet. When the baby gets older you can face the chair both ways. Show details · 1
Strong and safe – Love this pram, you can feel how secure it is and love that you can get the part if they beak or get damage. Really happy with my purchase. One of the most popular prams in Australia Show details · 1
All round good pram – I have used this pram since newborn and now have a 3 year old. it is extremely versatile and easy to clean. Although the parts are large when transporting it (such as when travelling via plane), i find that it is at least light! Our pram has been all over the world, bashed around many times and still going strong. The down side it the limited flexibility in leg room Show details · 1
Beautiful and stylish – Loved this pram, perfect from newborn to toddler. My daughter was tall for her age and she didn’t outgrow this one. Storage basket underneath could have been more usable. But it is such a striking and stylish pram, super comfortable for Bub and great steering/ manoeuvring especially in narrow spaces. Show details · 1

Loved it at first – When i got pregnant with my first I knew I wanted a Bugaboo. And instantly fell in love with it. Got the limited color , all the accessories I LOVED this pram. handle up higher you have to use both hands to unclip each side then move then clip back up. same with changing the position of the seat, to recline you need both hands to push in the big buttons on the side and then tip back or forward etc. it's not user-friendly! you cannot fold the pram with the seat on and need to take it apart to place in car etc. No peekaboo hole in normal canopy I ended up selling mine and getting a Baby Jogger City Select Lux and even with one child I'm amazed. different ways for him to sit, HUGE basket. user friendly one handed operations. Bugaboo are beautiful prams, they aren't user friendly.
Loved it best pray I ever owned – So easy to push and shop with comfy for my child. Basket fits alot, easy set up and pack up. Canopy is very good size Easy break system Worth every $$$ You pay for what you get. Show details · 1

We love our Bugaboo – It was a big deal choosing a pram! We definitely made the right choice when we purchased the Cameleon. It is smooth durable and easy to fold. We used it for both our kids. Took the pram several times overseas and its still in good conditions! Show details · 1
Fantastic + You want accessories – Had this for our first born. It was fantastic, great wheels making it easy to get over things eg. bumps on paths, rocky terrain, even sand on the beach. Love: - the quality and feel of it. the zip blanket was great when going out in Winter in Melbourne, the drink holder is great for carrying water bottle / coffee / baby bottle. Travel bag was also really good when travelling overseas/interstate
Dislikes: - Travelling with it overseas, it's quite large and heavy to travel with. We took a Yoyo that allowed us to take our toddler on the plane asleep vs pulling him out of it
Overall: There's a reason why these are so damn popular. It really is one of the best on the market
Love love love! – Absolutely loved this pram I use it with all three of my children and then again with my nieces. So easy to clean, fit nicely in the car and was easy to ensemble. Show details · 1
expensive BUT it the best – i been using this for the past 10 years , all i can say it valued for money and at the end , you still able to sell it as a used product . it is expensive to purchase brand new when i gotten it 10 years ago but it worth it as it comes with product warranty . the first frame that we gotten from bugaboo has some issue and they sent us a brand new… Read more · 1

Great quality pram for babies. Not good for toddlers – This pram is great for newborns and small babies. It’s easy to steer, looks great and is extremely comfortable for baby to sit in. I wish the basket was more easily accessible. In the bassinet mode it is totally unusable. My 2 year old has also grown out of the pram even though it’s stated to fit 3 year olds. this department as comparable prams such as baby jogger and silver cross can accommodate 25kg toddlers but bugaboo is only 17kg. My toddler hates the pram now because it is too small for him. I would prefer a longer lasting pram because it’s just so much money to only use comfortably for 18 months.

Worst pram I have owned – Would not recommend buying this model. I had thought that would be an amazing pram with them being so popular. This is not true. They are difficult to sit up and down. Handle up and down, to turn back and forward, large in size when folded up. I should of researched more and bought the Fox if I was going to buy this brand. I have purchased Italian and Swedish prams and this one was very disappointing. Show details

very disappointed – Would not recommended if you have back issues the bassinet is so low to put and lift baby out of when I contacted bugaboo they said it was my problem and there was nothing they could do about it, honestly if I had the money I would go buy a different pram but I’m a single mother would paid off a two thousand dollar pram through a lay by and they can’t do anything about it Very poor customer service it’s disgusting Show details

Terrible in bassinet mode – Good lord I forgot how much I hate this pram! I’m using it again for my second child and the bassinet design is a massive pain in the bum and would have been a deal breaker had I known about it. to remove the bassinet to access your stuff. Ridiculous. The two part fold is also super annoying now I have two kids. Farting around with the two part fold while juggling a baby & toddler in the rain is no fun. I’m giving 2 stars for build quality and the fact it’s a nice ride but that bassinet is the reason I’m selling this on Gumtree as we speak. New Mummas, don’t do it to yourself!

Reliable Pram – You will need a decent boot to put this pram in, (I have a Disco 2 - fits snuggly with little room for much else) but safety wise, it has been reliable and sturdy. Don't do it to yourself!!! – I brought the Bugaboo Cameleon 3, thinking it was one of the best out there, but OMG what a nightmare of a pram!!! It takes up so much room to travel with! bugaboo is pain full (when trying to fold up this pram in 42° heat in a shopping car park, with minimal room, plus try and fit a full trolley load of grocery in the car too is a nightmare and not to mention the screaming baby!!), you can't have anything lose in the bottem tray as it will all full out as you are folding it up! You need 2 hands for everything on this pram. I believe there are much better pram on the market for even a better price, unfortunately with this pram you are just paying for the name!! If I could give no stars I would!

So many flaws – Sadly I regret purchasing this expensive pram. It has so many flaws. Every function requires two hands - from adjusting the seat, accessing the basket and putting on the break. useless it lets so much sun in from all angles. It’s bulky and needs to be taken apart in two pieces. It only has 3 seat settings where as other prams have 5.
