Still waiting for floorboard to be replaced after 3 weeks
They laid a faulty floorboard. The installer Campbell, after two weeks of waiting for him to call, finally arranged a time with me and then came at a different time. Have sent him messages after he said he would call to arrange another time and still waiting. I got carpet, timber and blinds and I can't get one floorboard fixed.
Flooring gets squeaky and they refuse to fix it
Carpet call inspected the floor again and agreed that the issue had nothing to do with seasonality and the boards needed to be fixed. The faulty boards have been replaced very quickly, - just couple of days after the second inspection. It has been a bit of struggle to get CC to solve the issue but eventually they have fixed everything beautifully. Thank you. Hopefully there won't be any issues.

I had timber flooring installed throughout the apartment in June 2019. In January one spot started to get very squeaky and I noti...ced that the joint between two boards became a little bit uneven. This potentially could have been impacted by hot summer weather so I waited a bit for the boards to adjust. Not it is May 2020 and the squeaking has not stopped and became even louder, and the two boards still do not level-match. After inspecting the issue, Carpet Call refused to fix the problem the floor is having saying it's a seasonality thing (at extreme temperatures the floor may squeak). Sounds like an excuse because, as I mentioned, I've been continuously having this issue for over 4 months now. The installers that came to inspect, had just a general look and hammered few times on it but then later I have received an email from CC saying that they've looked at it thoroughly: "the squeaking is due to sub-floor, as per previous inspection the floor is levelled, the joins on the tongue and groves were still strong" and refused to take any further action.

Excellence from Start to Finish
Roger and Faz were efficient and easy to deal with during the sales & ordering process. The installation team were on-time, organised and thorough. The room was left spotless too! The result is a rejuvenated AirBnB room that had been carpet, and are now spotted gum timber floorboards. Perfect result. Thank you Carpet Call, Richmond!
Awesome Service Great Range
The guy at the Helensvale store (Alan) really knew his stuff and wasn't just trying to "sell" to us. Gave us some great tips and ideas on product choice, colour selection and suitability for what we needed. Would thoroughly recommend you give this store a try before you buy something.
Poor service - great product
Timber ordered June 2019, date to lay Sept 19. Cancelled as no stock! Rescheduled 3 times due to delays. Then when layers they didnt order enough! still waiting Dec 19!!

Carpet call promised to beat a competitors quote. Then on day of laying flooring the tradesman told me all the extra costs I needed to outlay.
The job had to be postponed to get another tradesman to quote.
Was very happy with the guys tgat laid the floor. Then a week later carpet court took $270 out of my account and did not tell me. Very poor customer service
I was incredibly impressed with the professionalism displayed by the team at Carpet Call Timber Flooring led by Dan. They identified and found a solution to the problem of the foundation on which to lay the floors promptly. The floors look fabulous, I recommend their service and product highly.
Worst experience of my life
The floor failed to be delivered on time due to a warehouse collapse. Promises made to redeliver on dates that did not eventuate. Was then told floor would be installed but they failed to tell me it was timber veneer not solid oak. After I picked up, they promised to install oak floors as ordered. By this time it was a month late and we could not be home. When we got home we realised what was installed was not what was ordered. Disgusting treatment when I complained. Never use this company.

Bad beyond belief
Use this company at your own peril. We were taken in by the sweet sales pitch and bargaining of the Moore Park Super Centre mob. We didn’t check the reviews, which, incidentally were at about 2.3 stars last week and damning in the extreme. Somehow they are now rated 4 stars. A miracle! They lied about pricing. They patronised and humiliated us when we questioned them about those lies. They were openly rude and dismissive. They refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing on their part. The whole experience with them was unpleasant and very stressful i...ncluding the refund process. On a positive note I believe we dodged a bullet by not allowing them to carry out the work. I urge you to avoid this company or get any agreement, in writing, in full. They will avoid this. Also be aware that you need not pay any more than a 10% deposit and the remainder post completion of work. They will try to get as big a deposit from you as they can. We stupidly paid $3600, more than 30%.

Don't step foot in their showrooms. They want full payment BEFORE they do any work. That's just asking for trouble, because they won't have any incentive to do a proper job. No guarantee they will even rock up.
A deposit should be enough good will on the consumer to complete the job.
But if you depart with the deposit, you won't see it back, as they don't have a "cooling off" period, believe it or not.

WARNING No Manufacture Warranty
They say their manufactureres have a warranty but when it comes to the crunch, carpet call wipe their hands of any after care or responsibility. They don't call you back and leave you hanging. They shift to manufacturer and say marks on wood are not a fault. Many of my guests say they thought we had stains on our flooring.

Colour worn off
Floor has a 15 year warranty. I have complained about the colour wearing off and I was sent a bottle of stain and told to rub on and spray a clear coat of varnish. I have had your company come out and nothing is going to be done. Wouldn’t recommend
Love the new look with timber floors
I just recently refurbished one of my bedrooms by removing the old carpet and putting in these hard timber floors and they look awesome!!
The guys at Carpet call Marsden Park were great and know their stuff. Thanks Masi for all your help from choosing the timber right through till it's installation. I'll be back for my other rooms.
Call, call carpetcall? - Don't!!
Shocking experience with this crowd. Ordered a particular product and arranged for installation stressing the need for the job to be completed in time for a tenant to move into the house. Had to pay an extra $150 after being informed later that product was not in stock and had to be shipped from Vic. The night before installation, the sales rep calls to tell us there has been an "accident" in the warehouse and the flooring is unavailable. With only 3 days until tenant arrives the rep recommended a more expensive product and will 'bump us ...up" at no extra charge. Discovered later that an inferior flooring was installed which turned out to be $10 sqm cheaper. Chased a refund for 5 weeks before the difference was acknowledged. The flooring is one that we originally specifically rejected because of noise but we are now stuck with. A request for compensation completely ignored. Strongly recommend that you shop elsewhere.
