The most frustrating part has been the handling of the issue after reporting it. Carpet Court has advised that they are currently in dispute with the manufacturer regarding the rectification costs and that until this is resolved, the defects cannot be rectified. In the meantime, I have been left waiting with no clear timeframe, limited communication, and no meaningful updates on the status of the matter.
What also concerns me is that I was required to pay 100% of the balance prior to completion. I was hesitant to do this at the time because I was concerned that if defects arose there would be little incentive to resolve them promptly, and unfortunately that concern has proven valid.
I also think it is important to note that I previously provided a five-star review after receiving complimentary mats as part of a promotion for leaving feedback. While I appreciated the gesture at the time, I no longer feel that review accurately reflected the overall customer experience, particularly when it comes to after-sales support and defect resolution.
I would encourage anyone purchasing custom products to carefully review the contract terms before proceeding, including considering whether a retention amount should remain payable until any defects are resolved satisfactorily.

Overall, nothing was too much trouble for the Carpet Court team and their installers.

said he will notify the shop and they will contact me. I waited 2 weeks and nothing. I sent them an email and they replied with a letter from the manufacturer that said no further action. So no further action from the store. Never ever use them as their customer service is trash. We are now stuck with cr>p carpet that looks terrible and they don’t give a d>mn. So d>mn angry but what can we do they won’t do anything. All we can do is warn others. Go somewhere else.

Product Quality: Very happy with the quality of the carpet and the underlay materials. No bulges, or folds, or fraying or uplift anywhere. There have been several spills over the year and each time it has been easy to clean with no evidence of damage.
Installation: The installers were great, they were respectful. friendly, focused on getting the job done and attentive to detail, they had the right skills and ability to achieve a flawless installation in every room. They helped move some furniture, took away all the old carpet and underlay and completed the job in one day.
Price: I shopped around quite a bit before selecting this store, I found the price excellent value for the product, the customer service, the installation and after sales service.
I couldn't be happier and can recommend Carpet Court Nunawading for new carpet purchase and installation.

Prepare for some above and beyond damage in installation! – We just had vinyl plank flooring and then carpet installed at our holiday house and the amount of damage our architraves and door sustained during installation was flabber-ghasting. the one carpet layer was sent in to drag brand new mattresses across the floor and out of our master bedroom doorway and then bring in a carpet roll for a floor almost 4 meters wide by himself whilst taking care not damage our property. How do you take "all care" not to damage the property when you knowingly send one person in to move bedroom furniture and install carpet in bedrooms that are located down a hallway (requiring manuvering to get these large items out of a room at challenging angles to avoid hitting walls and architraves). Not only did they not give me fore-warning of the damage they'd made during installation, when I spoke with the team member about the damage they blamed the paint but offered to send the carpet layer back to "touch up paint" because he was in the area. After pointing out the paint had been taken off down to the timber and it would need to be sanded back and re-painted I then asked how they could possibly have carried out that work without that kind of damage given they'd only sent one person in to move furniture and install carpet to bedrooms off a hallway the response was "we do it all the time". Despite nothing in the contract that waives them for responsibility for damage sustained during installation with the exception of skirting boards no responsibility was taken and the final offer was to bring in our off-cuts and they'd make mats for us for free....except there were no off-cuts.

Did not last long before it started to buckle in multiple places, we had to get them back out to restretch them after 2 years and it didn’t last more than 6 months before they started to buckle again.
