No follow up to my query.
Before Christmas, I tried to place an online order for perfume for Click and Collect at a Queensland store. There was a problem with their procedures which I advised them about. They did acknowledge my query and promised to get back to me asap. They never did.
Horrendous unprofessional service
Made a order, called through to discuss, gave details and was transferred to someone else, again gave details, and again transferred 5 times later i asked to make a complaint, lady said sorry you dont like being called dumped there is no one here to speak to about that, but if you want to discuss a order i can assist. Easier to hang up and do order through this company again. Waisted 28 mins and got no where.
Excellent Service & Prices
Chemist Warehouse generally have the best prices and if you find a store with a cheaper price they will refund the difference in price by 10%. I love the click to collect service, and they have the goods available for collection within 2-4 hours.
Edit: I've amended my review above after a recent poor experience. Placed a click to collect order and requested a price match within 24 hours - they told me they actioned the price match request and refunded the difference back to my account. A week later there was still no refund to my account. Queried them again and now they are saying they can't refund back to my account for click to collect orders and instead will issue a voucher to use on my next order. Rubbish.
I use to use Chemist Warehouse online quite a bit and it was fine. Over the past two years it has gone downhill dramatically. It takes weeks to get products that use to take a few days. They send the wrong prescription. They don't pay attention to your profile needs online. And when you email them to let them know they have made a mistake they are so rude. There are so many other online pharmacies out there with much better customer service. I highly suggest people use them instead.
0.5 if I have a choice.
Disappointingly dishonest service. My order was supposed to be home-delivered. I got a message; replied to the message with 2 to indicate someone would be home. My phone registered the first call but without a hint of a ring. The second time I checked my calls, it was worse. My phone was on next to me most of the time and when I checked my calls, another call from the deliverer was registered but my phone did not even ring. There was nothing wrong with my iPhone 7 Plus. I expected my order to be delivered; I stayed home. My iPhone was n...ear me all the time but the registered calls did not even make a sound. Extremely frustrating. Absolutely not worth whatever saving there was. I'll make sure my friends do not go through this insulting experience.
I would give zero stars if that were an option.
Ordered 4 items, which all were listed as in stock online. 2 items were then shipped separately as they were “not in stock online”. Checking now, they are still in stock! It’s been over a week and I still haven’t received any parcel. I live in metro Sydney! As per the website shipping takes 1-2 days. What a lie! When reaching out to the customer service for help, they couldn’t care less.
It’s quicker and easier to have stuff sent in from USA, than from Sydney- to a Sydney address. An absolute waste of time and disappointing experience. If I had of known it would take this long, I would have shopped elsewhere.
Terrible service and support
Terrible service and support, they have no concept after sales customer service, they would refuse to accept that the product differs in specifications. It's like they dont want you to come back and shop with them. What a shame!
Worst online shopping
They said 6month Expiry when I call to service centre. What kind of online business they have? I have orderd 200pills of Vitamins for 5 bottle for my new year gift to family and friend. It's just 6month expiry date, so if I give 2 bottle as gift to friend, it will expire. When I call them, ask them to change in offline shop, It is impossible.
And assistant told me, best way to vitamin is using the offline shop. Then Why you doing online shop? to remove all the short expire product? to reduce stock ?
Should hav com...mon sence when person order same product and high quantity pack. I've orderd 5 pack, so half will go to expire. So People looking for healthy product from your website to be healther but you are supplying the product which going to be expire soon. Worst Online Shop ever!

In store is great but Online is a disaster.
Have purchased twice through them. The first time being a month ago. Small order, 4 items. They decided to split the order, 3 items arrived but took 9 days to get to Metro Melbourne, sent from Melbourne.
They then sent 1 item(eye drops) on it's own, from NSW, it took 15 days to arrive. I live in the metro area not in some rural backwater.
Then today, I ordered 3 items for click and collect, made sure I found a store that had all 3 items in stock. Ordered, was advised at checkout that my payment may be taken immediately or may be taken when co...llecting the items, like what? It either is or isn't. Of course they took the payment immediately. Got an email saying it was being put together etc. Then an hour later received and email saying 1 of the items was not available at that store. I went on their website, it was available at the store. I rang the store they had it in stock. However they said as it was done online all I could do was cancel the order, and come in to the store and pay the same amount I had already paid, and wait 5-7 days for a refund on the initial purchase. So I went into the store, they had all 3 items, so now due to some error at their end I have to wait to get the money back. Maybe they should put more effort into their website and ordering systems instead of their ads.
Never got my order, staff incapable of assisting
I made a large order online (well over $100) which was tracked as being shipped two days later. After 10 days I called to follow up and was told the delay was due to Christmas (I had ordered on 1 December, but okay) and to expect it in 10 to 12 working days from the date of the order. I emailed to follow up a few days later after I saw that it had sat at the delivery warehouse for several days and was still marked as being in transit. I got a stock response repeating the information already visible on the package tracking, which was completely ...unhelpful and infuriating, especially as it was now over two weeks since ordering. I eventually spoke to someone with the common sense and ability to actually check the situation on 19 December, 18 days after ordering, and she discovered that there had been a mistake at their end which resulted in my unit number being cut off from the address, rendering my package undeliverable from the start. Apparently I will get a refund after it arrives back at their warehouse, god only knows how long that will take. Absolutely hopeless. Their mistake rendered it undeliverable, then they were incapable of identifying their own mistake for weeks despite multiple queries and now I have to wait for a refund even though we all know it would literally be impossible for me to receive my package because, again, they rendered it undeliverable.
I think it's ok as a foreigner
This is not bias just from my personal experience. Due to I am foreigner and I'm on my L plate so I order things online very often. I had online shopping experience from chemist warehouse few times and it took it around 4-5 days to arrive. I think that's reasonable in Australia. Never received wrong item. Happy with the price and quality.
Absolutely woeful, is the shipping wait a bad joke?
Online shopping is a joke, they take FOREVER to dispatch it, my husband ordered guitar parts from the USA regular mail that arrived in 3 days, I am still waiting for my chemist warehouse order from last month (10 days and counting) and it still hasnt arrived and I am in the Melbourne metro delivery region, I would class that as making no effort whatsoever, you are just taking the chemist warehouse. I also order from I herb.com USA and that takes 3-4 days from ordering to my doorstep, so whats up with you, chemist warehouse, in Australia for goodness sakes?
Horrible online experience.
I order online on a Monday night got an email to say posted out on Tuesday, got email on Friday saying should be delivered next Monday - Tuesday.
I live in 25 minutes from a major city, 17 min from a chemist warehouse, I just needed a delivery. Guess next time just go to the shop, useless online services.
As a side note if I wanted to be there to sign for my package I would have gone to the store, why would I want to get anything delivered if I need to be at home to get it. Sure if it is prescription medication, but it is not basic everyday things.
However, seeing how bad their online system is, I will assume they can't even build in basic metrics like that.
Next time ill just order from overseas it shows up in less time and less hassle.
worst experience with online order
Advise strongly not to order products online unless you dont mind receiving the order whenever they feel like dispatching it. Customer service wont tell you when the stock will be dispatched and they wont even apologize and make it sound like we have no right to call them to track orders. They wont cancel your order unless you call them 2 hours after making the order even though they havent yet dispatched the order. whatever they say on thier website about the estimated delivery time is a lie and full of nonsence. I will report this to fair trading for their incompetent system and even worse customer serviceteam. Dont waste your time, effort and money because they are the worst.

Watch out for Click and Collect
I purchased some items via Click and Collect a few weeks so and it was a smooth transaction. Yesterday I did the same and purchased some more expensive items. While they were correct it was a shame one of those was already open and some of it was missing.
Check your items before you leave because their store doesnt check that you are getting what you paid for!

Online delivery takes ages dont bother
Purchased some items online hoping that it should get here within a few days. It might have if your staff process your orders immediately. My order sat there for 3 days before it was processed and another day before Aus post picked it up. Aus post took another 7 days. . It took all up over week and a half to get it. I tried to pay for an express mail but it was exactly the same. My order sat there unprocessed for 3 days before someone decided to pack it and send to Aus post. Their express post took 7 days and normal post takes nearly 10 days. ...Please note: Big w wooworths Coles - everyone can deliver within 1-3 days . If your sick dont bother cus for a chemist who sells medication they not in a hurry to send it. shame on you ! You are selling medication for sick people so know what you sell and send it quick. Its Its quicker to get an item from China to send to Aus from eBay. obvious these guys dont care about ppls orders or what they are going through medically.
Do not buy from the online store unless you are 100% with your purchase because return cost you MORE!!!
I have made a purchse online. I found the same product with better price else where. I read the return policy clearly before I decided to return this purchase and buy the cheaper one. I went to the local store, the staff did not take a look at my purchase and said they do not do return from online purchase. I rang up the online store and they said it depends on the franchise stores and the products. How come this is not stated in your policy. I made a complaints and they said they would accept my return at your cost of postage and refuse to of...fer me free return due to lack of clarity in their return policy. I am extremely upset with that. Now postage cost me $25.95. This is ridiculous. The warehouse is in preston and I can not even drop it off. Customer service who answer my complaint on the phone just do not care about you. They said what they want to say. They keep saying the the product I purchase is online only so you can only return it online. I am sorry, but what it means to other people is you can only purchase it online and your return policy did not specify that.
