Recently experienced excellent service from Cincotta Chemist in Dickson ACT, which went above and beyond what can reasonably be expected. Left purchased goods in store and was contacted to advise that goods remained available for collection. As I have Cincotta Rewards membership, I was able to be traced for contact purposes. Overpriced medicines. I bought a medicine for my mom and since there were no other chemist store close by, decided to drop by their store. I wasn’t aware of the value of the meds and when i compared it to chemist warehouse, i got charged almost double the value of the medicine. I never thought that this brand (with discount on its name) would… Read more
overcharged this much. Never going back to this store and I am posting this as a warning to anyone planning on buying from them.
Lose a customer by charging to replace a faulty lid on a compounded product – I have used the services of the store many times and they have been very good. I had a medication compounded (liquid) as I have before, around 3 weeks back and the screw top lid broke for the first time, so I took it back and asked for a replacement. First the attendant said that wasnt theirs, which it was and offered a different replacement… Read more
plastic bottle with a $2 charge. I said the lid was faulty and would expect it to be replaced at no cost. The pharmicist who compounded the product, then said they can't just supply a lid and I would need to buy the whole unit, which I declined. Reliable repeat customers are hard to find. Is it worth losing one wanting to charge $2 for a bottle that was replacing a faulty lid?

Felt cheated, never again Cincotta Chemist – I just purchased two different medications listed under the PBS scheme and found it cost me a whopping $39 more than what I would have paid for them from the other pharmacy I usually purchase from. I can allow for a little difference but this amount is outrageously high. I had visited this shop as it was late and I had ran out of medicines. To add… Read more
to this I did not get the brand which I wanted, though the pharmacy had wrongly printed the name incorrectly on the medicine box. I went in to return them close to the hour but they flatly refused to, in an aggressive manner, which I can understand could be a policy but not the behaviour.

Compassion and friendly efficient service – Pharmacist Sam from Macquarie Fields is very helpful and caring and compassionate .All the staff are friendly and helpful
Great service. Great staff – I've been going to Mascot Cincotta for quite a few years ( even at the old location across the alleyway), and have nothing but the utmost respect for the staff there! As someone on the methadone programme, they have never treated me with anything but the greatest respect, and have never made me feel judged in any way, unlike other pharmacies that… Read more
treat customers on drug maintenance programs like they're a waste of time and effort. They even took the time out to make sure I was ok when my mental health wasn't at its best - talking to me about what had been happening, how I was feeling, etc. - and made sure I got the help I really needed. Thanks to them, I was able to get back onto my (much needed) medication. They knew me well enough to see the signs that I clearly did not, and that really showed me how much they care for their customers. If I could rate them higher, I definitely would!
Excellent customer service experience – Haydee is always so helpful. Challenges him to 60 second to fill a script and he crushed it. Always helpful and friendly Show details

Very expensive – They should change their name from discount chemist. I recently bought Ciprofloxacin ear drops for my daughter and pad $45 , then I checked with different chemists it's only cost $30. $15 difference just for one prescription. That's really bad. How people can survive if they get sick if they don't have any pharmacist that sell medicines on normal price. Terrible
Be careful when refunding credit card purchase – Bought item then instantly found it cheaper at chemist warehouse. Returned item within 5min which they luckily accepted however stated normally no refunds for change of mind and they do not price match. Staff need permission before refunding which meant waiting some time before manager was avail. Be careful when paying by credit card as there is a… Read more
surcharge which I didn't see or made aware of when paying (chemist warehouse have no surcharge for visa/Mastercard). Anyway you will lose the amount you paid in surcharge fees when returning an item. Will stick to chemist warehouse - always cheaper and easier to deal with.
Disgusting service – I bought a pair of masseur sandals & after trying them on in the shop they felt fine but when I got them home they weren’t ‘hugging’ my feet properly. Armed with my receipt & I only wore the shoes inside for all of a few hours I took them back for a refund. The assistant tells me she can’t refund me all because of a ‘mark’ on the soles. The shoes… Read more
otherwise were in perfect t condition as I only had them for a day. The manager outright refused to give me a refund on the grounds of this tiny ‘mark’. I told them that I have a right to a refund because the sandals are still in good condition & most importantly I have my receipt. Disgusting service & I will NEVER go back there again. Theft lock box was – Frequent here 6+years experience was great until today. Went to pharmacy counter got meds, lady put in theft lock box. I said you put it in a theft box told my daughter what that was and why they put it in there. Lady told me to repeat myself which I did. I proceeded to front counter to pay. It should have been left at that and this is why I won't… Read more
return, I was half way down aisle when said lady proceeded to loudly state it was procedure also her years of service. No one else had there meds locked way. I understand procedure so why did procedure only count with my purchase and no other customer in that store purchasing proscribed meds.
Disgraceful store – Wagga wagga cincotta is the dirtiest chemist ive ever been in. And not to mention staff members are bullies and have no knowledge of any products they sell. They arent trained and just thrown into handing out medication.

Eastgardens - Don't bother if you need some help – Went to the Eastgardens Store today to discuss some Cough Medicince for my daughter. The Pharmacist was incredibly rude - no eye contact with me and more intent on typing stuff into the computer. Did not offer me any alternatives (again no stock of what I wanted) so was happier to see me get out of his store and stop wasting his time. I wont waste his time any further - I wont ever be back. Rip off prescription cost – I just had a script filled at toukley store. Im absolutely disgusted that their price was $9.99 more than Amcal. I usually always get my scripts filled at Cincotta chemist but no more. They call themselves a discount chemist, what an effen joke. Show details
SO BIG THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING – This review is for the store in Botany Road, Mascot We have been using this pharmacy for several years, but they have lost their way. My husband is a cancer sufferer, (terminal) he needs drugs that are not standard stocked items. His Oncologist emails scripts to the pharmacy so they can order and dispense. Since Friday they have not been… Read more
able to find the script, it was sent again. My husband went up yesterday to ensure they had the script and he was told they will have the drug in today...Guess what? They forgot to order it.
It's not a one-off mistake either. They are so busy they don't know what they are doing. But guess what? They are not the only Pharmacy in the area and today we walked and will never set foot into this store again.
Customer Service - Non-Existent. They make you wait for ages for a simple question Efficiency - Does not exist Work Ethic - questionable
Because of their neglect and don't care facto they have set my husbands treatment back 5 days - It's not a simple aspirin but medication that he needs to keep him pain-free
I do not recommend this store that puts profit in front of its customers and their wellbeing.
Staff unpleasant – Unpleasant staff member when I asked questions about a product. She seemed to have no basic knowledge and did not offer to find out. On another occasion - after I had encountered her in a women's toilet where she did not wash her hands but did reapply hair product - she mocked me as I purchased medication for a serious illness. On the positive side, maybe it's safe to shop at Macquarie Priceline now. Show details
Cheapest prescriptions by far – Service is always good ,I have never been kept waiting long and prescriptions filled at least half the price of some competitors Show details
Cincotta Deserve a zero Stars – This chemist has to be the worse in Blacktown. I was going to complain about the service however you can't complain about something that doesn't exist. The Pharmacists are lazy, useless and slow in everything they do. The last straw for me was this; I placed a phone order on Sunday afternoon for a delivery on Monday. No issues. Monday morning… Read more
Cincotta Chemist Blacktown calls me to pay for the meds before they deliver them. I paid them over the phone and was told the "courier" would pick them up around midday and they should be delivered by 2pm. Around 3:45pm and I get a text message on my phone telling me my meds are ready for pick up?!?!?? So I called Cincotta and asked why I am getting this text when I was told by them, they would be delivered by 2pm. After 30 minutes of back and forth it turns out the meds were never picked up!!! They eventually told me the "courier" would deliver them immediately (By this time its now 4:30pm) I asked the courier when he was told about this delivery and he said I don't know!! I asked how is it that he doesn't know, he just kept saying I don't know. That my friends is complete and utter nonsense!!!
My suspicion is that they never told the courier or they were simply forgotten. So that is why I will never use Cincotta Chemist in Blacktown ever again
Terrible Service and Overpriced – I have a serious heart condition that requires daily medication to maintain health. The item I purchased at Belrose was very heavily overpriced at $17.99. I usually go to 'ChemistWarehouse' where the 'Identical' product is only $5.50! Will never return to 'Cincotta'. Fundamentally immoral for pharmaceutical companies/pharmacies to exploit those… Read more

time to help answer any questions. Very happy to keep the local store running as has saved us many times. Thank you!
Never going back – If youre on the suboxone program dont go here. They judge you harshly, despite trying to better yourself by getting clean. Every time you go in it takes 30 minutes to 1 hour for what other chemists make a 2-5 minute job and they dont offer any kindness or apology for making you wait or making you feel like youre a low life. In 3 months of daily… Read more
pickups, They consistently served other patrons first, despite having waited for 30-60 mins, because they werent on ORT. Especially, despite trying to create friendships there, the pharmacist Viy dealt a lot of unnecessary judgement. My friends and I now go to Taringa Discount Pharmacy and they are lovely, non judgemental, and were in and out within 3 minutes.

Cincotta Putting Diabetics Lives at Risk – On 24 July my blood sugar monitor stopped working so I bought a new Accu-Check blood sugar monitor from Cincotta. It has just stopped working (after less than 3 weeks) giving error- E9. I took it back to Indooroopilly store where I bought it. They said they knew their Accu-check blood sugar monitors had a problem because others had come back with… Read more
the same problem. They refused to refund or return it or even to try or provide replacement battery. I pointed out that this was in clear breach of consumer law and was informed that the manager has decided they would do nothing. I pointed out I was a diabetic and they were putting my own and other diabetic lives at risk. They still refused to do anything. I advised them under consumer law it was clearly the retailer's responsibility. But they just said not we have been told by the manager to do nothing! I pointed out they should not be selling such a faulty or limited life product - they knew was having problems. But it was clear that they would continue with this unconscionable behaviour (all for the mightly dollar - quite lierally it may have been solved by trying a battery that would cost them less than $1). Naturally I will be taking all my scripts and other business elsewhere (how about you?) - we need to send a clear message that such irresponsible behaviour contrary to Australian consumer law is totally unacceptable.
Incompetent, are run like a corner store - no professionalism – There's a reason this chemist only has 9 FB subscribers - my local store at KILLARNEY VALE are utterly useless and the staff are totally incompetent. Firstly, phone is disconnected all morning, then when I finally get through it takes 10 minutes for them to check computer for stock. Repeat a dozen times product code from the website, confirm NAME… Read more
of a common product available in most chemists and priceline, they confirm they don't have it in stock but can order it in overnight then order the wrong thing. Don't even bother to look and say they can't order it in. I know they didn't look because they didn't have enough time to look and a store further away said they could order it in. This store is so unprofessional - such a waste of time - stick with Chemist Outlet/Warehouse or frankly ANYONE but this dodgy store. They seriously have no professionalism, are lazy, don't care about customer service or consistency and when they make a mistake and inconvenience people they don't really seem to care. would not recommend to anyone.
Mt druit store nothing but crap liers, don't call if you want to know if they have something – Don't ever go to mt Druitt Cincotta nothing but liers, I called them earlier on to see if they had a product on the shelves. one star don't even deserve a one star in the first place your a crap store and I will never buy from you ever again even if your product is cheaper. I was going to go to priceline in Penrith to get it but called them to see if they had it and they told me they did. Now I have to travel to Penrith to get. Even other have complained about Cincotta pharmacy. Hope your store gets shut doesn't deserve to be open
Over priced item and decline to price match – Toady (17 Apr 19) I went to purchase a Zyrtec Eye drop , I used to get the cheapest price from Cincotta Merrylands , this is the first time I went to Cincotta Discount Chemists Penrith, 473 High Street, Penrith NSW 2750. Awful – Husband ordered a medication we can only get from NSW, we are in VIC, was meant to be sent out on Friday, Monday when my husband has run out and needs it they call and say they are just sending it. Pathetic service and no regard for patients needs, absolutely dismal. Want to lift their game
Bad experience – I went in to ask the chemist about something and buy a medication cream I was the only costumer i waited for like 5 minutes standing there was 3 staff standing doing things and then another costumer comes that costumer was served straight away although i had waited and i came first i was not happy at all i had to leave and I don’t recommend this to anyone it has never happened to me in any other chemist
Great chemist – I come here for all my medical needs and every time I come in here staff are always friendly to me and I very happy with how they service me and my wife, very big store so they have everything.
Too expensive – I sent my husband to the DISCOUNT Cincotta Chemist Morayfield Rd. Morayfield Qld. To buy PANAMAX 100 tablet box which usually cost $2.00 @ box. I went on the Internet to check the price of PANAMAX at all the other local chemists & they were selling at $1.99 for… Read more
a box of 100 tablets. This chemist has a neon flashing light under the word DISCOUNT facing the passing traffic on Morayfield Rd. I do feel now that this chemist is using false advertising methods. I phoned the chemist later that day & was told my husband agreed to buying the PANAMAX at that price ( which he would he needed them ) & I felt it was our fault. I will definately not be going back there. They do say the best form of advertising is "word of mouth" so watch out Cincotta.
cincotta takeover of Bova in Caringbah is awful!!! – If not for 2 original staff members I'd never go to Cincotta chemist. Prices are double and triple other pharmacies in the area. gave me anothers bag of drugs. His lack of kindness is affecting staff moral and it's not worth going to see 2 people I like who are stressed unhappy and this guy in charge is older he knows better but 100% does not care. I'm going to miss the one pharmacist and friendly staff member but the young unprofessional and beyond unfriendly rest of them? They have destroyed a business built on loyalty due to staff warmth and kindness. Now double prices and you don't get a thank you or hello from the head guy? It's wrong. I rang your head office to complain and nobody even answered the phone and you could not leave a message. Bye bye. You disrespect all of us and overcharge so there's no longer any point. Enough chemists in Caringbah and 17 years of loyalty Cincotta has killed. I won't shop there again. As I clearly do NOT matter and am not valued as a customer the guy in charge makes certain to ignore everyone and I'll not be disrespected each month by him. You lost a VERY loyal customer.
