the matter to the customer service manager, I was extremely disappointed by their response.

The manager acknowledged that my daughter had experienced redness and irritation, yet refused to offer a refund or even store credit because they could not identify a manufacturing defect.

I find this response incredibly disappointing. Just because a product is made from commonly used materials does not mean that a customer’s experience should simply be dismissed. I was not expecting anything unreasonable, just a fair and customer-focused resolution.

Unfortunately, City Beach showed very little understanding of my concerns or willingness to help. The way a company handles a complaint says a lot about its customer service, and this experience has seriously put me off shopping there again.

I would think twice before purchasing from City Beach.

surprised by the delivery time. Given that they were coming all the way from Australia, I expected it could take a few weeks, but I ordered them on 22 September and they arrived on 30 September, which was fantastic.

As a bonus, they came with a 6-month warranty, which gave me even more confidence in my purchase.

give me a refund because I hadn't met the return "standard" because the hygiene sticker is missing. It had clearly come off while the bathes were in the return post. This honestly feels like it's designed to fall off so they can refuse your return. Do not buy from them!

City Beach is a scam if you ever need to return anything. Purchased $180 worth of items online, we order often. One item was the incorrect size we paid $65 and paid the extra $3 for free returns. One of my items was slightly marked, i contacted the online chat team and they responded quickly to offer me a solution on the problem and made it extremely easy. Scam company that hides fees and charges into the online transaction that you can’t get out of. I didn’t click any boxes and yet they added on return fees! If I want to return something I’ll go to the shop 10 mins from me. I didn’t need scam charges added to my order. Asked for a refund but nope. Don’t buy from this crappy city beach

Worst experience with click and collect. Advised via email my click and collect was ready when I got to the store 3 of the 4 items were missing and not available in the store. A week later I am still chasing them for a refund.

returns process via their website. On their returns page what comes up automatically is a ‘refundid’ returns box where you enter your details for an instant refund so I did that. Once processed I realised I’d been charged a return fee so I queried it as I’d paid that extra fee at checkout that enabled you to return items for free and I was then advised that ‘refundid’ is a third party company and there are fees involved however they could reverse the ‘refundid’ transaction and I could return the items through city beach’s own returns process for free to which I agreed. Once the ‘refundid’ transaction was reversed I realised I’d been charged a reversal fee so once again I queried that and was told that as a gesture of goodwill they would reimburse me the charged fee. City beach then received my returned items and only refunded me for one of the items so once again I queried that and they said the item was soiled. Pardon? I then rang them for further information and the lady I spoke to (bless her, I was annoyed and she was calm and lovely the whole conversation) said she would read through the transaction notes which she did and she then stated that their staff would usually attach photos to the notes when this kind of thing happens however there were no photos attached. Rather odd. She then explained she would look into it and email me back. Great! Lo and behold they email me back and they magically now have a photo of a soiled crotch on a bathing suit which is odd because I tried on 2 bathing suits one after the other with underwear on but only one was soiled. So now as they have stated that they weren’t told it was soiled when I opened the package upon receiving it (I didn’t even check upon opening it as I wouldn’t expect them to send me a filthy item) that they unfortunately can only assume that I’ve soiled it and they will be returning the item back to me - soiled. I feel like I’m being punk’d and it’s rather odd that the more expensive one of the 2 bathing suits is the one they are claiming is soiled and are refusing to refund me for. You best believe this is the last purchase I’m ever making from city beach, what a disgrace of a company.

How on earth do I have to pay for a return in 2025? I ordered a pair of shoes, they haven’t even shipped yet it takes a whole week and they still want to charge me $10 to cancel/return it. How is this company not bankrupt already?

address because those in dispatch are incompetent and not checking the label against the order. My street number, City and postcode wasn't printed on the label but was correct on the confirmation email.

The points system they use for returning customers is useless as it comes up with an error every time so is pointless and unrewarding for those that spend good money.

I ordered a shirt from here. I opened it up out of the packet and took the tags off to wear (I already knew it would fit from trying it on in another store). After putting it on I realised it stank like urine. I contacted customer service immediately after but was advised as the tags had been removed and it been about 2/3 weeks since delivery that nothing could be done.
