Definitely not value for money – I contacted them for a purse that I received on my birthday last November, was told that they do not cover wear and tear, despite I had the proof of it being still new. I don't have the receipt... The standard is so low but the price is very high. I will definitely not buy from them.

rude staff at colette chermside branch – The staff on Dec 28 2023 evening shift is very rude and cheated us with the total cost of the item. we called Chermside security and was sorted. next item you shop make sure you check your bank account they might be charging extra for something you have not even purchased.

bought much cheaper and long lasting versions back home in India so I do believe Colette is not pocket friendly either. But I buy the bags mainly for the look not for the quality. Not recommended for daily use also no idea re the warranty.

for it. Retail assistant had to ring Manager to ask what to do. She did this after a couple of goes, but Manager did not give her the code to override the price. I felt very sad for Retail Assistant who was new. I want to commend her for her resilience and her willingness to assist me. The Retail Assistant was very calm & solved the issue. My thought to the store is that they need to set new workers up for a win not a stressful situation. I am willing to give names if needed. The young lady who served me was great. 4 stars to her.

my oneway conversation the obnoxious sale rep. at the counter just nodded and moved away from the counter. This attitude has made me question my loyalty to this outlet. All my bags and most of my costume jewellery are from Collette. I did not deserve this treatment. I am never buying from this outlet again.

Terrible materials – I have had to throw out numerous bags & wallets, almost new, kept in dust bags, due to peeling. They were stored in cool place in bags yet they all lost their top layer of material. I used to think colette was a high named brand & loved their products, not so now. I will NEVER purchase another product. I have lost approximately $800 in bags & wallets. I am a bag & wallet fanatic.

No return or exchange. Be ware! – Dont buy anything at colette if you what to return or exchange. Will not exchange hair jewellery or makeup for hygiene reasons. Poor Service and Quality – Purchased earrings and clutch in Maroochydore Thursday 23rd January. Went to exchange in Toowoomba as we wanted to change the colour. Terrible company on returns – Refund policy is so confusing on the receipt,it states refund on promotional and full price within 28 days with tags on will gladly refund but at the same time it states sale items will be exchanged.only . a sale item , it was full priced, But the sales girl looked at the receipt and straight away denied to exchange it saying that it’s from Colette store of DFO , so you have to go there to get it exchanged. I want so badly to love this brand – I gave this brand a chance for years, because their designs are so gorgeous. The quality is just absolutely abysmal. The bags start looking worn and falling apart within 6 months, WITHOUT daily use. In Europe you can get $20 purses at H&M that last longer than that. Chadstone- terrible return policy, terrible customer service- Strict 28 day return policy should be displayed in store – The staff are very disinterested in serving. not apparent. my friend doesn't go to the shopping centres often and she was too busy during the 28 day period. She tried to return the bag a fortnight after the 28 day policy expired. She could not use it as it was too small to fit her spectacle case.

It was obviously unused with all tags and paper stuffing intact, in the collete hayman cloth bag and receipt.

The shop assistant sullenly pointed out the 28 day policy. It is printed on the bottom of the long receipt. The shop assistant did however, say it could be exchanged . My friend didn't bother.

Staff should be able to override the return policy, if the bag has been obviously unused, especially if it is just a little outside of the 28 day period OR the strict return policy should be displayed prominently on the store window or counter.

The Myer city store and David jones in the city have a wide variety of beautiful bags. my friend bought a beautiful Olga berg bag, which was very compact but wide enough to fit everything.

The poor customer service along with an unbending return policy and the fact that the handbag selection in the city department stores are so much better , prompted me to write this review.

the other stores phone was not working, she asked her colleague if this is the case and agreed. When I asked if she could try calling another store she did not respond. Not sure what was going on with Colette stores nationally however judging by the latest reviews there seems to be a common thread of bad customer service and experiences. Still perplexed as to why the staff member was unwilling to help me with my purchase!? Most stores would fly over hoops to get the item for a customer and secure a sale. Weighed it up and I’m not desperate enough to run around town to buy the item, I could purchase online and pay for shipping but the item is not worth the extra cost (free shipping for over $75) and quite frankly I don’t want reward a brand for terrible customer service *thumbs down*
