The bad stomach bug – I became sick travelling home and needed to book another flight as the air lines where hopeless, not answering emails or returning calls till the last min an email that i didnt see due to being sick. Initially, my claim for the missed flight was declined. However, after I provided additional information and followed up with their team for further investigation, the claim was reassessed and ultimately approved. I appreciated that the team took the time to review the details and reach a fair outcome.

Overall, I found the process transparent and the customer support helpful. Based on my experience, I would consider using Cover-More again for future travel.

Covermore did not try to avoid paying benefit after accepting my word as to the cause of golf club damage. Over insurers may have sought to deny claim because of lack of accompanying photo evidence which in my case was not possible. Their representative was courteous on the phone. Show details ·  1

been major, requiring hospitalisation or more, we may have been left in severe, desperate need which is why we took out travel insurance in the first place.

1. When I called the Covermore emergency contact number for assistance, the person answering had difficulty speaking and understanding English. They could not find either of our names on the Covermore Travel Insurance policy we had paid for and arranged through flight centre Werribee. Flight centre Werribee ([Name Removed]) were absolutely wonderful/amazing with the level of assistance, service and the time they spent helping us resolve this issue while we were overseas. THANK YOU [Name Removed] AND FLIGHT CENTRE!

2. After providing Covermore with mine and my wife's full name, the date and location our policy was taken, email address, phone number, the exact dates and destination of travel, Covermore were still unable to find our details and advised we were not covered then appeared to refuse to search for our details without a policy number, saying they could only search for a policy number. The fact that we were travelling and didn't have the policy number handy or tattooed on one of our limbs so we could recall it, should not have impeded Covermores ability to do a simple name search. Doesnt the term emergency medical contact mean that urgent, quality and supportive service should be provided?

3. Covermore advised we did not have a travel insurance policy which we then immediately raised with [Name Removed] at Flight centre Werribee during an international call. [Name Removed] was able to immediately find our Covermore Travel Insurance policy number FCB********** WHICH WAS CLEARLY LISTED UNDER BOTH MINE AND MY WIFE'S NAME.

I WILL NEVER USE COVERMORE INSURANCE AGAIN. WHEN WE NEEDED THEM MOST, THEY WOULD NOT HELP. THEY WERE UNHELPFUL AND SEEMED INEPT WITH THEIR ASSISTANCE.

The policy was issued in a timely manner, and the subsequent claim followed up swiftly. Claim resolution was within two weeks of submission, and I have used Covermore extensively in the past. My only complaint is that I was unable to have a policy issued for medical cover only. Show details ·  1

find a repair service over the past 3 days I find that the original manufacturer of the machine (Devilbiss) has been renamed to Drive Medical and they have sold to React Healthcare. React Healthcare in turn do not support patients only suppliers.

I am unable to drive now because of severe sleep apnoea and Cover More have informed me that only if I present at an emergency dept and am considered in need of emergency medical care will they provide cover. The whole point of cpap therapy is prevention of medical emergency. I am faced with having to abandon my trip early to return to Australia to try to reinstate my cpap therapy. I specifically checked the policy to see if damage to my cpap machine was covered and ascertained that a health assessment was not needed for eligibility for cover. Covermore policy and advertising is misleading and I feel my physical and mental health is at risk. A cpap device is simple and effective. If Covermore do not support users of this therapy device, what else do they not cover ?

I had to change my flight plans (cancel one domestic sector) before my trip even started due to circumstances beyond my control. The airline were not very helpful at all due to their own systems. I thought that we would have difficulty claiming as I felt that it was a strange claim . I was in extreme pain , and also we lost all our money when our last trip to Hawaii was cancelled because of Covid and we were unable to claim for it . I always get insurance for medical reasons, but realised we were covered for loss of items as well. I would recommend this policy if doing multiple trips.

due to the cancellation. Covermore did not cover me as our plane wasn’t cancelled due to hijacking, riots or natural distasters so i lost my money. My sister who went through QBE insurance got a full refund within a week. DO NOT GO WITH COVERMORE INFACT THEY SHOULD CHANGE THEIR NAME TO COVERLESS

So glad i did, as i needed to claim for lost flights, trains and accommodation due to snow closing an airport. about 8 separate flights in and around Europe and we assumed at some point, something would go wrong. We paid $1,300 to ensure we had peace of mind. We were very much let down. We had an airline cancel a flight which we needed to make our long haul travel home and to our absolute horror, the Covermore rep we spoke to referred us to a detailed page towards the back of the policy which summarized the cover would only be in the event of a strike! We felt we had done our homework, the summary of the policy on the front pages of the cover confirmed that is cover in the event of travel disruption - what it didn't say was not in the most common event of a flight cancellation. Total waste of money and the policy was both unfair, misleading and we feel entirely ripped off. The fact that we bothered to call and ask advice from Covermore before taking out the additional cover to ensure that it was the best policy for our needs and we were mislead completely. Never again!

Stolen Mobile Phone – I have had travel insurance with CoverMore numerous times. The policy was easy to set up. In comparison with other companies I found it good value especially with us both being over 70. This is the first time I have had to make a claim resulting from a mobile phone being stollen while on an overseas holiday. Thankfully we had a Cover-More insurance policy for our trip organised by our travel agent.
