Looking at buying a (brand new) Aug/2018 XT2 LX42 which has a 679cc LONCIN engine Vs the XT1 that has a Kohler engine. Has anyone used the LX42 with the Loncin engine ? Keen to know if you have you had any issues with this 2018 Model. Appreciate any general comments on the LX42 before I commit as trying to get the right beast the 1st time. Buying a rideon is becoming a scary exercise I have decided. A John Deere E120 is also in my sights as an alternative. Cheers Rob sent 13 Nov 2019

Just bought lx2 with kohler motor. Used it first time today on sloping block. Worked exceptionally well. Have read many owner reviews and spoken to many people who all say the same thing..NEVER EVER CONSIDER JOHN DEERE!!!!

Bought one about 12 months ago, we have a 1 acre block, sloping, the bottom section is really 4x4 country, it does the job incredibly well however i note its stsrted to leave higher tracks which i have deduced means it needs new blades. However none exist in qld, they have been on order for 4 months and no one knows when or if they will ever arrive. thats a little disconcerting!!
