I am looking at a second RZTS46 with a pressed metal cutting deck, I'm assuming Cub upgraded them to a manufactured deck after the stamped decks model was first introduced. I wonder when the RTZS46 was first released in Australia? The internet is not helping me on this... Anyone with information? Thank you kindly in advance. :)

Hi, I have some lawn on my 2.5 acres but the rest is a bit rough. Eg sticks shale and uneven. How will this stand up to it.

Not too bad John. The latest generation of this model have a high clearance. So much more than the previous model I had. It was a good mower too but when the deck was at the top height position it was too low for some rocks that stick up out of the ground and the blades would scalp rocks here and there. Not so with this model. I reckon there's about ten centimetres at least more clearance and almost double the height settings. I never seem to hit rocks anymore and I have a few sticking up where I'd prefer they weren't. I doubt there are many mowers better for rough ground except maybe Grillos or Razorbacks etc. You'll pay at least double for them. I reckon the Cub Cadet is exceptional value and unique at this price level. The only thing I don't like about it is the name. Who came up with 'Cub Cadet'? Who cares though. Brilliant machine.

I've only put 50 hours on mine so far but so far I'm impressed. My property is very steep and quite rough in places but it handles it well. I went for the fabricated deck for extra durability and it's holding up well. I was previously using a 45hp tractor and 5ft slasher and this has handled the rough stuff, even talk bladey grass really well. Sticks and the odd rock no problem.

Can anyone give me an idea on how do you adjust the cutting deck when the left hand front side is about 10mm lower than the other side and the adjustment on the hanger is at its lowest.

Can you tow behind these mowers? How much fuel is used per acre on the 42"?

Left blade is spinning but not cutting. Bend new blades. It is noisy on the left side. Could spindle be bad? If spindle bad would it still make blade spin

Not really sure. I get about 3 hours to a full tank. Full revs.
