Hello, What means a flicking red car symbol on dash facia when the car is stationary with engine stopped either locked or not. This is an M300 70hp 1.0L 2008. with 113000 Km no A.C. in this basic European model. I know we have a battery drain which I traced to the alternator unit - the Replacement is underway. I am a British mechanical minded guy which looks after my wife’s car. This is our third Daihatsu so we do like them. Charlie,

where does the radio fusebox sit in the daihatsu sirion iioo / 2005 model?
Red door open light on dashboard STILL lit when all doors (including hatch) are checked as closed. Inserted Key and went for a little drive. Light DID not come on. Came home and parked. Checked all doors closed. Got out and checked if door open light on. It was not. Locked car with remote. Inside light went off (as usual) but Door open light on dash STILL On (flashing). Any help out there?

I have just purchased a 2005 Daihatsu Sirion Sports model. The interior lights come on when pressed manually but don't activate when the doors are opened. Would appreciate any thoughts on this?

How do you check the automatic transmission fluid in a 2002 Sirion?
If you look at the back of the engine on the right hand side , quite low down , you should see a red top, this is the dipstick for automatic oil , this can be drained if not a nice Cherry red, and new automatic fluid added, got mine done much better
Need a diagram of the inside fusebox please on 2003 sirion. No cover on this one to explain which fuse is which. Any help? Thank you.
