the showrooms for selections and although it takes some time is good to have a fair number of options for items included or upgrades. In short, great design, a good number of options for selections, and outstanding customer service.

We are currently at the selection stage and really enjoying the process. Dechellis have you go to each of the suppliers to make your selections directly with them. It’s been a very positive experience and we love that you can see all the products/choices available and see other options if you want to upgrade. We have visited many of the suppliers numerous times to work out what we want, so have been able to be really prepared before each selection appointment. It’s been so much fun. Everyone whom we have dealt with so far has been fantastic and we are really happy - we have no hesitation in highly recommending Dechellis Homes. thoroughness and willingness to listen to our needs, no matter how trivilal. They've been incredibly detailed in every aspect of the process, ensuring that no stone is left unturned. This has given us immense confidence and peace of mind and can't wait to see the final results. frustrated with their responses (admittedly used some choice words), but they showed zero interest in assessing what went wrong or taking any responsibility. Bottom line: Dechellis markets itself as premium, but you get the same dismissive service as any volume builder when problems arise. Don't pay extra for the fancy name - you're not getting better quality or support. Save your money.
Follow-up · Some electrical seemed shoddy in roof space. Some walls don't align right. Flooring had slipping floorboards. They used the wrong bricks, so the house doesn't properly align on the foundation. The roof leaked on the first winter. I could go on...

fabulous with info and patience. I have called her a few times and not once did I think things were inconvenient. This journey was daunting to me going in but I’m feeling a lot more confident moving forward.
Follow-up · Julian and Maddy were both very knowledgeable about their products. Right from the start they followed up on every query every question we had and got back to us on the same day. Always polite and ensured us that we could at any time call or email them.

few things we wanted to tweak, and Nick worked with us the whole time to make those happen. He spent time working through different layout options to get us exactly what we wanted - even when it didn't seem possible at first.
We also had unexpected issues arise around trees, as well as boundary complications with a neighbouring property. Nick helped us navigate every step, always responded quickly and kept us informed the whole way through.
Although we had some delays (through no fault of Dechellis, but because of the trees and a law change since we purchased our block), Nick kept working with us and we're super happy to finally have planning approval. We highly recommend Dechellis to anyone wanting a builder who genuinely cares about getting it right and making their clients happy with the result.

down to earth, relatable, honest, easy to talk to, great singer (he unknowingly entertained us through the garage wall while we looked around a display home lol), and didn't bat an eyelid at our ongoing ridiculous banter and bad jokes. We felt heard and supported by Julian throughout the process of drawing up our plans and dealing with council demands etc, right through to signing our contract. At one point, I started to worry that the house we had chosen did not have the amount of storage that I felt our family would need; Julian went above and beyond to come up with solutions and mocked up drawings of options until I was completely happy with our plans. We honestly can't thank Julian enough for helping us through that process. He has helped us to design a home that we love and that our family will be able to enjoy for many years to come. The selections process has been the slightly stressful and overwhelming part of the process so far, but mainly because I have expensive taste and want to upgrade so many things lol! In saying that, the inclusions that Dechellis has on offer are of high quality and there are lots of good options included! We've been impressed with it all, and all the staff have been so helpful through it all. We would very much recommend Dechellis so far to anyone looking to build a new home - go seek out Julian, you won't regret it!

Would not recommend – Build was not well managed, site supervisor dodged questions whenever we needed information. Forgot about our carpet until we said something during final walk through. Before the build began we were given a $500 upgrade to write a good review, which was easy as the sales point of view is faultless. All trades were inadequate, electrical was wired… Read more
incorrectly, walls aren't straight, door frames are cracked, tiles aren't level, paint patches are seen where holes have been filled. We've now been in the house for a year and our 3 month defect period is over, things still aren't fixed from that such as our rangehood and now things are breaking/not working. We have grout down the drain of our shower, the exhaust fan in the bathroom is broken from being installed incorrectly. Air conditioner inlet wasn't sealed correctly which we've only found as it was time for the yearly maintenance. Holes on the outside of the house where pipes enter were never filled. The kitchen rangehood was never connected in the roof and we wouldn't have known if my husband didn't go in and connect it himself when being in the roof cavity. Post construction has honestly been so devastating to say the least after spending our savings and pouring our hearts into what was supposed to be our perfect home. Extremely disappointed in our choice to build with dechellis and would never recommend them or do it again.

items occurred 2mths post handover, communication to address items listed in pci required ongoing persistence by myself to initiate. The only things with the build that went smoothly and ontime was the trades we had organised privately. I'm looking forward to when the maintenance team addresses defects and the house is as the beautiful as the displays. So far the communication with the maintenence team has been positive.
