I would suggest for those that are complaining about the milk pod however, to use just the coffee or cocoa pod and add milk from the fridge, or double up on pods and leave off the milk pods. But I love the milk pods so much I would have just a nice hot cup of milk!

My only beef with Dolce Gusto is that other countries have different flavoured pods such as Tea Latte, Vanilla Macchiato, Green Tea Latte, and Intense Matcha plus others....and I wish they would make these available in Australia! Otherwise I have to spend lots of $$$ on Ebay to ship them to Australia and it gets really expensive.

I would also like to see more "iced" pods so that we can get full use of that function on the machine. As it stands there is one coffee that can be used as iced, but there used to be Nestea peach and lemon which were discontinued before I bought the machine.... :( Other countries still sell Nestea, plus iced coffees and Iced herbal teas (Morocco).

So if you happen to find the Dolce Gusto pods while travelling, bring some home and try them because they fit the Australian machines. So far we have tried Japanese and Singaporean Dolce Gusto pods in our machine and they are wonderful!

used them and enjoyed their ease and quality. When I went back to Asia I kept thinking about them and I recently happened to be in a shop in Hanoi where I live that was selling the mini me. So I took the leap of faith and walked out with the machine and 50 pods of cafe au lait.

I frigging love this thing I wake up very early for work and head straight to my new best buddy. I like routine and the satisfying hum of this little bugger as it churns out my morning heart starter is very satisfying. I get two mugs per jug and that's perfect for me. The coffee is hot and creamy and costs me aud1. 20. If you aren't making coffee for the masses and don't need frothy milk...... This is the machine for you. 10/10

macchiato) seem to have problems with the coffee coming out of the pod. The water/steam starts to expand in the pod & so I have to stop the machine & upon trying to open it to get the pod out, the pressure has built up so much it is extremely difficult to open & feels like it's going to explode (a bit scary)! Though this happens only about 10% of the time & mainly with the latte macchiato pods unfortunately as these are my favourite! Overall though I couldn't live without my machine! The coffee tastes Fantastic & I couldn't go back to instant coffee now!! I've tried other brand coffee capsules & haven't found any I like as much! Despite the couple of negatives, I would recommend this machine. The positives far outway the negatives!

Fantastic – Love my MiniMe it’s so easy to use and you can just pick it up and put it anywhere as it’s so little. I take it everywhere in the house as I have little ones who nap and they wake easily to noise so it’s great that I can make a coffee anywhere and don’t have to use a frother at all. Removing and replacing the water tank is really easy as is inserting and removing the pods.

I've had the mini me for almost 3 months and use it daily. The machine hasn't skipped a beat. I've bought several more expensive coffee machines over the years and none of them have produced a yummy hot coffee like the mini me. The pods are available from my local big name supermarkets which is very handy.

Surprisingly good coffee – This little machines makes a pretty good cup of coffee. It is easy to use, easy to clean and there is a good choice of pod flavours, but don't expect your local supermarket to carry them all. it heats up quickly, but doesn't make a very hot cup of coffee, so it is best to preheat your cuffed cup/mug using boiling water before you fill it with coffee from the machine.  Show details

of the milky versions so use a small milk frother if I want that effect. There are often online offers where, if you buy sufficient boxes of pods, they throw in a free coffee machine, so I have a spare machine sitting in my cupboard as well. The coffee comes out with a nice crema, but if you plan to add cold milk and want it to stay hot it helps to first heat your cup with hot water.

Great little product – This little wonder is great. Coffee tastes great. Easy to use and quick. Pods are easy and low in price to purchase. Very low maintenance and cleans easily. Ok – It is easy to use and it makes great coffee, chai tea or hot chocolate but I the pods are limited to Nescafe only which can be annoying. The variety of pods that are available in Australia are very limited which is disappointing when compared to the rest of the world.  Show details

I have put off buying a pod machine for years.

This one, ("Marven") is amazing.

I love the design, price and quality of it.

Quick warm up, simple to use and pods all taste excellent.

Downside is all the plastic waste of the used pods, plus they are a bit pricey.

I only have one per day which is my little luxury.

Great little Machine – Nice and compact! It is easy to use and has options of hot and cold coffee. Easy to clean and quick to heat up. Coffee pod selection is good but downside is the cost of the pods. Have to wait till Coles or Woolworths has a sale on. Would recommend the cappuccino pods.  Show details

Okayish – Taste of coffee is just ok. I hate buying the capsules though. I can never find the right bundles for me in offers :( Easy to use and easy to clean. Small so doesn’t take much place. This little machine is great – For under $80 you can't go wrong with this one. The coffee pods taste so good, it's simple easy to use and quick to clean. The coffee pods are reasonably priced. generally no larger than 8 ounces at a time. Some might find certain drinks to be too small in volume. The taste is satisfactory to my levels (a causal coffee drinker).

Cleaning is simple. Take out the capsule up and bottom overflow trays to wash. The rear water compartment can be taken out for a rinse. The nozzle can also be cleaned via a small pin.

Pods can cost a decent price, but some drinks require 2 capsules; eg, milk+cappuccino.

This is really good – It is good and easy to make your coffee. Just put a capsule, you can make latte, cappuccino, mocha, macciatto, long black, short black and etc. And it is easy to clean. Just get rid for capsule and clean capsule cup and drip tray. In back side, you can find small pin, it can help your nozzle cleaning. You can enjoy your coffee at your home  Show details

Good little machine – I bought this a while ago and it worked a treat. Always gave consistent results and good tasting coffee. The only downside would be that the pods are proprietary. Cheap and simple to operate – We go this machine as part of a recent campaign with the order of 10 boxes of pods. It is a simple to operate machine and make great tasting coffee. Cleaning is a breeze with just a few wipes for splashes. The only downside to this machine would be the volume of the water tank. Not bad for a low cost unit – Coffee tastes OK, however the quantity per cup could be increased at probably indistinguishable strength levels from the same pod. Unit itself is easy to clean, easy to store (small footprint) and quick to get up and go.
