and I decided I wanted a Pod machine to help make the process faster and easier so I started looking at machines. I was going to go with one from Aldi but decided I wanted this to last a bit longer than the one at work was lasting so found myself looking at this one.

I went to Nespresso and they showed me the one they had on display and I knew I wanted this one, it also had great reviews online.

I went to The Good Guys and got it for cheaper than Nespresso was charging

It's a great little machine, it's easy to maintain, works with any pods that fit nespresso machines, froths milk well and hot.

PRO - easy to maintain - works with pods of same size - heats well - milk frother does well - good size water tank - dishwasher safe parts

CONS no real cons for me at all.

overall very happy with this purchase and once I found pods from Woolworths that I love more than Nespresso and is so much cheaper it make running this machine more cost effective.

Not hot enough – Coffee is not hot enough - just warm. Needs to be microwave for 20 sec. to heat up to acceptable level. The coffee itself is really good (Nespresso pods) All things considered, I am VERY disappointed. Only positive thing is that it is quick. Show details

Third machine has died after 2 weeks – I have been through 3 of these machines. Another great thing is that it supports generic coffee pods - I've only ever tried it with those cheaper coffee pods from Woolies and they tasted great especially when compared to the instant coffee I used to make.

On the negatives, it does leak a few drips for a few minutes after the coffee is made, so leaving a cup behind for collection and the self-clean is useful. It is also noisy - no more noisy than other coffee makers but it's not silent.

Capsules are genius! – It’s stunning how many different blends of coffee are in so many different capsules! And so very easy to use! Delicious! Cleaning is so easy! Amazing little machine – We love be this machine, love the simplicity and speed, coffee in the morning has never been so delicious! I put the pod in, put my cup under the spout,press a button and while I am busy doing other things my coffee is being made. Easy to clean and dishwasher proof parts, what more could you want. needs to pull up there socks ,when you spend hard earn on a product that is recommended by Harvey Norman,only to be let down.we live remote and we just can't drop in with the machine to get fixed,three to four week turn around,sorry Nespresso but you are in the three P.'s now .

Fantastic machine – This machine is very easy and simple to use. The flavour of the coffee is just like buying one at a coffee shop but of course for a fraction of the price. Good machine – I really enjoy my Nespresso coffee, because there is a nice creme. Getting the right pod for your type of coffee is important. Once you've set it up it's easy, but adjusting you're machine using the instructions weren't that clear. I found a video YouTube clip was easier than the Nespresso booklet. Great coffee – The coffee is very good and convenient, however the capsules are expensive - too expensive and a good selection of coffee types and flavours. Tried others, but this one is perfect for me – This coffee machine has changed my world, so easy to clean and makes the perfect cup of coffee. I love milk in my coffee and this one has the option of putting milk into the coffee as it makes it, so it comes out piping hot. who seemed really helpful, returned it to get it looked at, sent back and was told there was nothing wrong with it. This is where big problems started. Nespresso would not return calls after promising me time and time again they would - this literally went on for 2 months - not one person called me back. Every time I called I would be left on hold forever, have to go through the details again and be promised a 'manager' would call me back. In the end the only way to get someone to speak to me was get consumer affairs involved. I was then told by Nespresso to send it back again to which it came back yet again with the same problem. Again nothing is happening, this is still an ongoing dispute (it has now been 3 months) and I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel. From reading other reviews it seems to be an ongoing problem with this machine and I highly advise consumers to be very careful purchasing these machines.

Froth comes out lukewarm – The espresso coming out of this machine is perfect but the milk froth is lukewarm. Unfortunately if you make Cappucino there is more Milk than Coffee so you end up with a Cappucino that is overall lukewarm. It's quite disappointing. As a Manual Coffee machine user I've learnt that the final temperature of Cappucino is pretty much defined by the the Froth Temperature (has to be 65degrees or a little more).

Easy to customise – A small mishap with the 1st machine that simply didn't work and was straight out of the box. machine to give me a long coffee with smaller amounts of milk. Short black and ristretto are well made and the temp is correct for coffee. The machine is made in Italy which surprised me because most delonghi appliances are made outside the EU. The Nespresso brand coffee pods that I select are superior to any generic brand pods from the supermarket. I recycle the pods and reccommend that everyone does this. My only negatives are the drips from both the coffee spout and milk spout .... annoying but I sponge it down.

Would be perfect if the coffee was hotter – The taste is determined by the pods you select. There are a number of non-brand pods available that are Nespresso compatible, so be sure to try them until you find the perfect brew for your buds. needs to be consumed almost immediately, it will be cool within 5 mins if you are a slow casual sipper. For me, I personally like to sip my coffee over 10 to 15 mins, not rush it down like a luke warm beverage. They should have included a milk warming frother that heated the milk better. The best milk temperature for Caffe Latte or Cappuccino is between 60 C and 70 C. This machine is well short of achieving this.

Very Happy With My Purchase, Excellent Performance And Easy To Use – Great machine, good coffee and easy to use and clean. Great service from Nespresso, capsules are a little expensive but quality is high. Phone assistance is available 24/7 but unlike my last machine the Maestria, I haven't needed to use the assistance line at all. It is worth calling when you buy to program your favourite coffee setting in the machine.
