Still loves it! My second one – I love my aeroccino and nespresso, its my second aeroccino now for some reason my husband after washing he put it in the wrong socket (nespresso) so the electric was damaged and i rang nespresso and they offered $20 discount (being out of warranty). so we paid only $70 for the aeroccino, My daughter grew up having babyciccno every weekend, we use the nespresso at least 4 times aweek. Compact and easy to use Nespresso machine – Easy to use, quick and convenient. Pods are dear, but still worth the while. Have had mine for 5 years and has worked well. Only tyre frother died within 13 months (right after warranty) and was not worth repairing. We continued using it without the frother, just heated the milk in the microwave before making the coffee.. still good! Would highly recommend it! Show details
miss my Nespresso – easy to use, doesnt take up much space, quiet, makes a perfect cup of coffee every single time, pods are very affordable and always very quick on delivery, very eady machine to keep clean and would recommend one to anyone anyday. i successfully managed to convert a few ppl to the Nespresso coffee machines Show details
Good machine - let down by coffee pods – Great machine and very user friendly. Combined with the milk frother is very convenient to use and great for the mornings. Had no difficulties cleaning machine, thorough instructions provided. However, taste of coffee was disappointing. Pods are simply not as high quality and roast and ground coffee from a manual machine which is a shame. Great for beginners, not for the coffee enthusiast. Show details
Good machine – I use this machine every day and it makes awesome coffee.the only thing that I don’t like with Nespresso machines is that the capsules can get stuck inside and then you end up having to chuck them away and the capsules are kind of costly so something to take into consideration when purchasing Show details
Best coffee machine! – Nespresso has the huge benefit of capsule coffees. Its easy to maintain, buy and most importantly its quality is constant. So far my experience with this machine has been amazing as it's really easy to use, and heaps of coffee pods to choose from. Even every nespresso shops that I've visited has been great the staff are really attentive and… Read more
answers all the question you've got. This coffee machine is a must for anyone who's after convenience, value and taste
Great quality product – We have had our machine for 4 years now and have made many many delcious coffees with it! I had the aeroccino milk frother replaced just before 2 year warranty ran out because the non stick coating was no longer working but since receiving my new milk frother we have been careful not to clean it with abrasive scourers and it's held up really well! Very happy with this product Show details
great coffee machine – Good coffee. Machine easy to use - drop pod in close lever and it's coffee time. Easy to clean remove two draws and descale when needed. Currently using re usable stainless steel pods - which work well with this machine. Happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend to others. Show details
Good except for the frother – The machine is easy to use and easy to clean. The coffee tastes good (not as good as the espresso coffee from the proper coffee machine that uses freshly ground coffee beans though). The coffee machine itself is durable, I have been using it for couple of years already. But its frothier starts to be annoying after a few months of using. The mixer… Read more
part of the frothier detaches whilst the frothier is on, then it automatically shuts down, so you have to dip your fingers in the milk and pick the mixer up and re-attach to the frothier and turn it on again. If you will replace the frothier it will cost you around $100. I saw a cheaper frothier from Aldi, its only $39.
It saved my morning – The capsule coffee machine saved my disaster morning! It’s user friendly, and ease to clean compared to full espresso machine! Good for anyone that cup of coffee wakes you up in the morning & not mention saves you time queuing in the coffee shop and loads of pocket coins (that’s easily $1000 p.a). Show details
Fantastic – Purchased this product a few years back and have used it every week since. Fast, easy to use machine that delivers cafe quality coffee everytime. Clean up is not a hassle.. just make sure you descale the machine once in a while to avoid that bitter aftertaste. Nespresso pods are not cheap.. but for the quality of the coffee, it's worth it Show details
Great – I bought this for my husband with no regret. He loves his coffee, easy and quick to prepare. Not as good as grinding one but it's till good for him. Lots of varieties to choose from, even got the milk frother attachment to it. It'll make your coffee looks fancier. Save you lots of money from buying coffee everyday. Show details
Best machine – It’s a great compact coffee machine, that is very easy to use and keep clean. The coffee also tastes great using easy to use pods from the nespresso store and is also compatible with other generic pods which can be purchased from the supermarket. I highly recommend this machine to everyone. Show details

Great for coffee on the go – I especially love how the milk frother froths the milk. When I add it to my coffee it becomes insanely good and it just goes down so easily. The pods are super cheap and it has saved me a lot of money since I don't go out to cafes to order coffees. Show details
Perfect – Got special from david jones and credit from nespresso, really convenient and good taste especially the decaf for breastfeeding. It is such an good small appliance at home and get a coffee whenever needed, no need to go out for a coffee and only need to buy the pods for different flavour Show details
original is perfect – love it, easy to use. We bought a cheaper nespresso machine for office (Breville brand) and its just isn't as good as the original delonghi nespresso machine. wish i'd replaced it with the same as i had. this never sticks, never has water issues. easy to use, always consistent good coffee Show details
Awesome machine – I love coffee this is an awesome machine perfect coffee every time the milk heating cup works well make sure to give it a good clean after every use as it can get a bit smelly at times, make sure to occasionally clean the inside of the machine as cover can spill out the side Show details
Best coffee machine – Tasty and perfect coffee maker. Easy to use and user friendly, good services and friendly staff. Easy to find capsules and spare parts. Different taste options and postage option. You can buy capsules online as well. Even chocolate option you have too. I strongly recommend this coffee maker to all. Show details
Froths soy milk and oat milk – I use oat milk in my frother every morning for my coffee. You'll find different types of non-dairy milk froth really differently. With oat milk, you can fill it up to the second fill line and still keep the spring on the frother piece. Soy milk froths similarly to dairy milk, so you have to take off the spring if you want to fill to the second… Read more
fill line. I wouldn't even bother with rice milk, tried it and didn't like it at all.
Once I was confident knowing how much milk I can pour in without it overflowing, I permanently removed the black lining to the lid because it was just too hard to clean.
On a side note, I have noticed if you use the frother completely dry, you get a lttle more foam on top. If I rinse it before using and the top inner exposed part is still wet, there is a little less foam on top.
Dodgey – When I first bought this product I would have given it a 5 star rating. Once the product reach 2 years old, it started leaking into pod catchment tray. I descalled regularly, and took care of my machine. I'm not the only who has this issue with this model. In my opinion I think this a design fault. Stay away from this model.
It was faulty after just 2 years of use – It was the perfect coffee machine, easy to use but it became faulty after just 2 years of use. The coffee was coming out of the capsule bin instead. The frother also started to leak (possibly due to the rubber) after 1 year of use. We only used the machine on that weekends, was expecting the machine to be better made. Future buyers may want to buy extended warrantee.
Too many repairs during warranty, aerochino dies after 2yrs outside warranty, capsules are expensive – We loved this machine until it kept having issues. During 2yr warranty, capsule machine was sent back twice for repairs and aerochino once. During warranty, service was so good I didn't get upset with machine problems - silly me! Nespresso appeared so kind to collect my broken machine, drop off replacement while they fixed and then swap back. But… Read more
what I didn't think of was, what happens outside of warranty! Aerochino was assessed via nespresso phone line and deemed deceased. We were a few months over warranty. We were offered $20/off a replacement and free delivery. As I had a number of probs with various parts I decided not to give nespresso $80 for a milk frother that only lasts a short time ( used by 2 adults who work full time). Replaced with $25 aldi frother, not as sleek aesthetically but bigger, much cheaper and works just as well.
I have queried nespresso via their Facebook page and via email how long they expect their appliance to last, but they refused to respond to either. For $200 -250 I expect atleast 5yrs so when my capsule machine breaks down again, I will not replace with another nespresso as I feel the brand are holding us hostage with capsule costs (my average is 80c per capsule and higher for special edt or special flavours) and average machine quality. Also, you can't use any other brand capsule in nespresso machine for warranty reasons.
Disappointed in quality and cost of capsules - have spend over 1k on capsules, maybe closer to 2k.

So far I'm loving it – I have had my Delonghi Nespresso UMilk with integrated Aeroccino and so far it's been working great. Had a couple of minor issues with the Aeroccino and the water reservoir but both of them has been replaced after contacting the Customer Service team. I wasn't big on using Capsule pots but after purchasing and selling my old coffee machine, I… Read more
don't think I would be going back.
So far so good, thumbs up. Good luck to those looking to buy one.
waste of money and poor service – I have just had troubles with the milk frother base burning and then the coffee pouring from internal. All they want is money for repairs $75. I don't think it's a cheap machine, however Nespresso seems to think that I should be extremely happy that the U machine lasted for just over 2 years!!! Buy a machine from Aldi which is value for money.
Milk frother is poor with poor product support – Nespresso told me that the black spot of burnt milk in the frother needs to be cleaned off frequently using a plastic scoured, and this this was normal. For a premium brand that is poor. I bought an Aldi milk frother which mysteriously does not have the black spot problem. I feel tech support are just worried about warranty claims.
A waste of time & money....machine is so annoying!!!!!! – At first we had a pixie machine which worked fine, had no problems at all, so i gave it to my mother in law. Then we bought the new fancy model "lattissima premium" which has turned out to be a "premium" waste of time!! From the very first day the machine gave us trouble...Gee all i want is a cup of nice coffee from the "lattissima premium," you… Read more
know something that is hassle free so that you can sit down and enjoy your morning cup of coffee, but no not with my fancy "lattissima premium" all we got was trouble, machine not pouring the coffee into my nice new nespresso coffee cup but straight into the pod container, then i would try again and again and again!!!!! Then the machine would run no water, check the water container and found that there is water, then i would pump water through the machine several times!!! Only to find that somehow the machine is leaking water all under the machine and out onto the kitchen bench, anyhow i would persist to get my morning coffee out of this possessed machine....It takes nearly 20 minutes before i can get this "wonderful cup of coffee!!!!!!" what on earth is going on, by now i am very annoyed, my wife and daughter have finished their breakfast whilst my dear lattissima is deciding if it will put out....You know a cup of nespresso coffee via a simple push of a button!!!! Not happy nespresso!!!...So all this goes on for many many months even after calling nespresso. Eventually nespresso does the right thing and gives us a new machine and taken away the faulty one...We did a swap at the door via a courier...Now we thought that all our "lattissima premium" problems had gone away and that finally i can have a nice cup of coffee by simply pushing the button of my choice and enjoying my breakfast wife my wife and daughter....No, not to be!! I plugged the "new lattissima premium machine" in and bingo the same problems. This machine flashed the orange light which means i have to descale...How is that possible, its a new machine??? Isn't it??? Anyhow this machine continues to give us grief and i have called nespresso and explained the same old problems and they went through same old trouble shooting....Do this, do that, we'll send you some descaling solution, which i already have, bla bla bla bla bla.
This morning took the cake, nearly 30 minutes to get my cup of "wonderful coffee" and that's why i'm writing this review to tell you that the nespresso lattissima premuim machine is frustrating...Maybe i should give this machine to my mother in law and ask for the pixie machine back? I seriously don't recommend you buying a nespresso machine, nothing but trouble and a lot of downtime.
At work i have a woolworth's caffelatte machine which uses coffee pods from lavazza, map, etc...The machine cost me $59, the frothing unit cost me $29 and the box of coffee pods were 3 for $15... I bought the lot on special for $103 over a year ago made over 2000 ups of coffee for myself, staff and clients and guess what...Not a single problem, it doesn't miss a beat. I rate the cafelatte woolies machine and recommend it highly, easy to use and clean.
Nespresso, just to let you know that today i am throwing my machine into the garbage bin, not the recycling bin, that's right the garbage bin!!! And then i am going to woolworths to buy the caffelatte machine and coffee pods for my home use.
That's my review and have a great day :)
Very happy with my machine! – I don't normally write reviews but I feel like I need to give credit to my Nespresso U machine. I purchased it 3 years ago and it's still working well. Nothing much to complain except if you switch it off, you will need to wait for it to cool down before it can be switched back on...only if you decide to have another cup of coffee too soon. Apart… Read more
from that, everything is good.
I like my coffee strong, so I tend to use 2 capsules. I find that milk from different brand can give my coffee a different taste. If your coffee is not strong enough, try adding another capsule or reducing the amount of milk you use.
Overall, loving my U machine:)
It's all about the service – I have owned 3 Nespresso machines and the U seemed perfect for me. All was going well and it was well maintained and low and behold!! Water stopped coming out of the spout and instead, it was pouring from the middle of the machine. So, off I trotted to Nespresso Bondi Junction to see if I could get an answer to this dilemma, the one 'young man'… Read more
working there said, 'Oh yeah, that happened to me'... I asked, 'what did you do to fix it?' he replied, bought another one.. so after 6 or so years of loyal patronage, I say Goodbye Nespresso. Out of warranty for a week or so, and now out of patience for that stupid response. As someone working in retail should recognition, not everyone has $300 lying around to "buy another one" I know you are BIG Nespresso and you have George Clooney, so therefore won't miss me, but other be warned. The coffee is good, the service, not so great.
Love it – Had a traditional coffee machine before, wasn't keen on the idea of 'pods' but will never go back to powder again. Have to admit pods are a little expensive for our budget.... but the ease outweighs the price (if I only have one or 2 a day). Makes very easy to have someone over for a coffee Easy! Expensive pods
Milk frother – Milk frother leaves burnt milk marks after each use and is now turning itself off ( due to overheating???) This seems to be a common problem from my research. Nespresso/Delonghi does not seem to take responsibilty for this. I've had my machine for almost two years, the machine is good but the milk frother has definately got some FAULTS. PS. The… Read more
water reservoir is now starting to show rust marks at the entry point of water to coffee machine. good coffee design faults
Wow, what a life changing machine – Love this coffee maker and aerocchino makes a perfect cup of coffee, no more trips to the cafés , wonderful experience in the comfort of your own home. Trialling the different pods and so far nespresso pods wins with the kogan ones a close second!! Also takes a little space on the kitchen bench even with the aerocchino Fast , safe and easy to use, reliably good cup of coffee Nothing
Great Coffee – We previously had a Kogan Nespresso compatible machine and although happy with it never loved the Coffee it produced. After trying a few espresso's in the Nespresso store I decided to upgrade to one of these beauties and haven't looked back. Purchased for $249 with a $50 cash back, the only real issue I have is the amount of Coffee I was… Read more
drinking when I 1st got it.
Recommend to anyone interested in one of these machines. Easy to operate & maintain. Makes good coffee Frothy milk whisk is a little "dry". I only use the warm Milk whisk which is about Latte standard.
Perfect coffee everytime – Bought this machine as a replacement to my Kogan Ez-press. The coffee is excellent. I drink Aldi Expressi coffee at work and this coffee is heaps better. The machine is well built and easy to use. I love it. The milk frother is a little low on capacity but you will certainly get a normal size mug for a flat white. Don't expect it to give you… Read more
enough frothed milk for a mug though. Yes you have to wash it up (the milk frother) after every use but that will be the case for any type you buy, otherwise you will get burnt milk on the bottom. Simple to use, small footprint, well constructed, excellent value. The coffee is really nice, much better than Aldi stuff. Milk frother could be a little larger capacity - I can't get a "mugacinno" worth of frothed milk out of it. I can get enough for a flat white though. The capucinno is only for cups, not mugs.
Love love love it! I'm addicted – Absolutely love this machine. It is simple, stylish and very space efficient. Extremely easy to use and the coffee is amazing. Really enjoyed trying all the samples that come with the machine but enjoy my favourite chosen coffees even more. The Aeroccino Frother is amazing and again so easy to use and clean. Love that the frother can do warm or… Read more
cold milk so you can make iced coffees, especially Freddo (iced capuccino). Stylish, easy to use, easy to clean, great coffee! Slightly noisy and expensive capsules but cheaper than take away coffees and well worth it!
