Months and upon months after I've moved on / churned elsewhere to another ISP....I am still being billed $200+ worth of transactions (somewhat thankfully - it is debited to my expired debit card). They say they would refund right away. But adding one blocker, one more jumping through hoops over another isn't really a good look from CX perspective. "not our problem, sort it out with your bank". "we need to see "certificate" of expiry".

Went through another ordeal with Commbank and of course - a waste of time. Guess what their response is? that's correct. "not our problem, go sort it out with dodo". Ping pong galore!

Also - their web dashboard is buggy as mess. stuck in loading icon loops. And auto logs out after a minute or two of idle (imagine writing/updating a support ticket, and lost it all, then having to rewrite it again).

Right now, about week and half into this mess - it's amazing how much bureaucracy is involved in CX these days.

misleading information. What they promised in the beginning was completely different from what they finalized in the end.

I asked for clarity and fairness – but was met with rude behaviour and zero accountability.

This is not how any service provider should treat their customers.

To anyone considering Dodo for NBN, electricity, or mobile – please be cautious.

I’m taking this further through a formal complaint – but felt I should share my experience publicly too.

It would be helpful if when contact is made for assistance with lack of speed on NBN if the person would advise the customer if there is another speed that would be better for that customer to have. Speed check did 25.15 download and 4.14 upload. I do not know if this is good, bad, or something else. Show details

Am happy with dodo it’s heaps cheaper than anywhere else they even changed the plan I was on as we were on 50 but was told could only receive 15 so they changed it so we weren’t being charged for a product we weren’t using a few issues with it dropping out and having to try and reconnect which we didn’t have with Foxtel but worth it for the price Show details

I have been with Dodo for my internet for at least 8 years and have always been very happy with the service and coverage. The internet drops out rarely and Dodo are very responsive when this happens. It is well priced and fast. Show details

They keep disconnecting my service without approval and reconnecting it incorrectly. There is clearly a problem with the NBN service to my property but they will not contact NBN to resolve it. I'm unable to contact NBN myself. Just stuck in a constant loop of explaining the problem to them every other day and wasting hours of my time. Show details

Unstable connection, unreliable provider. During another poor connection I called the provider and they said they have maintenance work and when it will be fixed is Indefinite. Have never offered a discount or compensation for the weeks it has been extremely poor. Not happy Show details

Reliable connection with minimal if not any dropouts. We had issues trying to connect to the internet initially and dodo were very proactive when we called we got through within 5 minutes and the problem was resolved. Great service!

Worst internet connection ever. it never crosses 8mb/s. drops mainly at night out of nowhere. Specifically couple of days ago, it just dropped at about 10:30 at night as my TV stopped streaming. I spent an hour restarting the modem and TV, but it won't just work. it was fine the next morning, but the speed never crossed 8mb/s. complained a few times, but nothing is fixed. I will just cancel the connection and get a different one.

Very very unhappy with my service. Constant issues constantly no internet connection, staff lie about how often the router need to be replaced to get out of trouble knowing it should have been replaced years prior. My Bad experience with dodo over NBN100 plan – I attempted to sign up for the NBN 100 plan with Dodo. Upfront cost of modem was $129 but I chose a family modem at $11.90 /mth for 12 months. I paid the first instalment ($11.90) and they sent me the modem. They signed me up for a NBN 100 with FTTC technology at $88.90/mth. is of my business, I just expected Dodo to deliver their claimed nbn service and speed. Later though, I found that FTTC technology cannot really deliver such a speed due to the nature of the technology and its connection type. I was told by others who had tried FTTC that I probably could only get something close to 25 MBPS instead of 100MBPS (Dodo support could comment). If that is true, I should not really proceed and explain other problems.

Anyways, later I found that our home needs an NBN upgrade as we did not have a wall telephone connection (that is my second problem as they could have prevented the set up if they simply asked me a question if we had such a connection point at home in the first place. Dodo told me that they could not help me with providing the connections needed and I should organize for private technician myself and I wasted some more time there. Later I called a different provider and they told me they could organize for an NBN connection upgrade free of extra charge to me only if was their customers. As Dodo was unable to help me in that regards I had no option but to cancel my account with Dodo (before the plan can even get started). Dodo however was very quick to charge me for the full cost of modem ($142) without really accepting any responsibility and without any consideration of the nature of the problem. That is not any close to my expectation. They just said this is part of our terms and condition, ignoring the fact they could not get me connected. The last thing is that Dodo charged me for the full amount of modem $142 and not $129 even though they, in practice, charged me upfront.
