I made the mistake to sign up with dodo. First, when I started the service, they took 2 weeks to send the sim card, then after waiting for hours on the phone to activate it, they somehow failed to activate it. so I had to wait again, and call again, and wait again. it was another nightmare, they missplaced the order, then it wouldnt arrive in two weeks, but funny enough, they sent a wrong sim, that couldnt be activated due to their own fault.

Internet drops out a lot but that seems to be normal where I live, the speed is fine for my rural location, customer service is great if I have any issues it is so easy to submit a report via dodo and have someone contact me to troubleshoot, have no complaints about the cost or customer service. Show details

for everyday things like work, communication, and entertainment, but the service keeps failing.

One of the biggest problems is the unstable connection. Even simple tasks such as opening websites, checking emails, or watching a short video become difficult because the internet keeps buffering or disconnecting. Streaming services are almost impossible to use because the connection drops frequently or the video quality becomes very poor. For a service that is supposed to provide reliable home internet, this is unacceptable.

Another issue is the speed. The plan promised a certain speed, but the actual performance is far below expectations. Many times the internet feels slower than basic mobile data. Uploading files, downloading documents, or even loading social media pages takes much longer than it should. In today’s world where a stable and fast connection is essential, this level of performance is extremely disappointing.

Customer support has also not been very helpful. When you try to report the issue, you often have to wait a long time to speak with someone. Even after explaining the problem, the solutions given are usually very basic, like restarting the modem, which does not fix the underlying issue. It feels like the company does not take the customer’s experience seriously enough.

Overall, my experience with Dodo Internet has been poor. The connection is unreliable, the speeds are far below what was promised, and the service has not met my expectations at all. I would not recommend this service to anyone who needs a stable and dependable internet connection. If the company wants to keep customers satisfied, they really need to improve the quality of their network and provide better support.

Best thing about good internet - never have to contact anyone! – When I moved to Dodo, it was during a promotion and I figured worth giving a try (hadn't used dodo internet since dial up). service once in the time I've been with Dodo, which is always a bonus! That alone saves me time! Will absolutely be staying with Dodo for my internet, reasonable price for a plan that actually works!

Previously have used other providers, when moving in to current house moved away from old provider (who hadn't used for about 6 months due to others having internet) as they wouldn't allow me to get a plan without buying a new modem (even though the old one had been purchased less than 12 months before). Looked into options, chose another provider and had constant issues with dropouts, speed not close to what was paid for and when changed the plan to avoid paying for more than what I was getting, got charged overlapping fees for both, despite only one connection.

account and then apply for a refund there. So at this stage they’ve refused refund, and made me purchase DOUBLE to then apply for refund. When I applied for the refund, they had no record of the initial transaction. I cannot tell you how many hours of phone call time I had over many weeks to try and rectify this situation. How can their system be so glitchy and how can I be told so many different things by so many different staff members. Ridiculous.

In saying that, once I got the service set up, FINALLY got a refund and I could stop dealing with Dodo staff, the actual internet has been great.

I have been a dodo customer for years, I required a new Modem due to storm damage. When it would not activate I called and the issue was identified and resolved in the same day. It was not a dodo problem but they still rectified it for me. Excellent product and service

Dodo Is the best NBN provider. I was with AGL company but was not happy with them then I sign up with DODO NBN plan with using my own modem and they activate my NBN service within 15 minutes. This is the worst experience I have ever had . They are not helpful. I organised appointments for my internet connection several times , they confirmed then they changed the appointment without asking me despite it was organised 6-7 days ago. I don’t recommend Dodo to anyone.

it within 1 - 2 business days even claiming to make this a priority. A priority is not 1 -2 business days. So far, my customer experience has been what I think is nothing short of appalling. I'm paying for something I'm not even receiving a service for. Feel like they just don't care. NOT IMPRESSED!

cancel online via the chat took forever and when I finally connected to the agent after 15 minutes of waiting, I got disconnected and had to wait in line again for another 15 minutes.

 Follow-up  · An excellent company. Great service - you get to speak with a human being and don't have to wait very long at all - I usually get through within 10 minutes if I have to call. Very good value - I appply for a 6-month review on my plan and generally get a discount, which is wonderful. I plan to stay with this comany indefinitely.

I've cancelled my account in December through the google website, only to be charged for this month. After contacting them, they refused the refund and basically called me a liar as they don't have a cancellation option on there. I've screen shotted it and downloaded the transcript for proof of how rude they were and how i was treated and disregarded by the operator i spoke with. Show details

Terrible connection for online gaming. Constant high ping and half the time I couldn’t even connect to EA services. I’ve had multiple internet providers over the years and never experienced issues this bad. To make things worse, they wouldn’t refund the unused portion of my payment when I cancelled. Would not recommend Dodo to anyone.

NBN has recently released thru all retailers revised pricing packages. It is forcing low end users like retirees to opt for high end packages by keeping the prices for the low end close to the high end pricing and providing performance for the low end a dog’s breakfast. With the increase in day to day living costs forcing the vulnerable to pay high price is sad. Unfortunately govt. has no control over the NBN in what it does.

I've just switched and had multiple drop-outs. When I submit a help ticket online, the response timeframe is four business days, which is ridiculous. The live chat said I would wait 34 minutes, I waited 45 and then the person gave me a response, and closed the chat before I could try anything out - lucky for me I didn't have any followup… Read more

questions. I rang, within live chat hours, and their technical support team was not available, so I question what kind of support they think their customers need.

UPDATE: I've been on with support, reset my router and etc. Don't know that it helped, still a far worse experience than with Origin, since the service drops out frequently enough that e.g. Cursor keeps failing.

UPDATE: Weeks in now - on NBN25, and I have to hotspot my phone to get Cursor to work, while it's the only device in the house.

to call NBN directly. The number they gave me clearly stated that NBN does not deal with customers directly. I called Dodo back to speak with a manager, only to be told they weren’t responsible and that it was essentially my fault for allowing the technician to place the box in the bedroom. They have taken no responsibility, refused to be helpful, and our internet speeds have not improved at all—in fact, the Wi-Fi coverage is worse. Very poor customer service and zero accountability.

I switched from Origin Energy for my NBN plan where I had zero issues over to Dodo as my price increased on Origin. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. I had constant issues, slow speeds, no internet frequently. I logged multiple calls and got told its a line problem, modem problem etc. Switched back to Origin and all my issues vanished. Paid Dodo and got told I dont get my money back. Poor service Show details

Very happy with Dodo, have been with them for about 15 years. The customer service is excellent and you can tell they sincerely want to help you. I haven't had much trouble with my service but on the few occasions I have they have been very prompt in organising an NBN technician and usually the problem was related to my building. For a good quality, reasonably priced product with great customer service I highly recommend Dodo. Show details
