Cancelled my service , still charged me for the entire month even though I was only connected a matter of hours. Perhaps I should have done it a day earlier but they could have at least refunded part of the monthly charge of $92. I won't be back and the poor kids got no lunch today. Do not recommend DODO NBN to anyone. Their customer service was very poor and unreliable. On 25 April, I requested an NBN installation for 7 May. another technician would need to attend the property in person, with the earliest available appointment being 14 May. The whole process was frustrating and poorly managed. I ultimately cancelled the service because they were simply not reliable.

disconnected within a few minutes and will receive an email as soon as the service is changed over. I could find no facility to nominate a changeover date on the application, which I have had with all the other providers. I promptly phoned Dodo and waited nearly ¾ hour for the phone to be answered and was then told I need to speak to accounts. They switched me to Tech support and after another ½ hr I finally spoke to accounts stating I needed to advise my current provider of a cutoff date and coordinate the switch over. I was then told verbally my internet had already been switched and they could do nothing about it, they were very unsympathetic. I then waited for and did not receive a promised email advising me that the connection was completed and also the instructions on reconfiguring the modem. Consequently no internet for ½ day until I finished up phoning Tech support which resulted in them having to reconfigure the modem so that I could use the internet. Beware if you need to advise your current supplier who requires notice before a switch Dodo has no facility to do this. It is done as soon as the application is completed. There is long wait on the phone to get answers meanwhile you have been switched. Your previous provider generally won’t give you a prorate credit for any overlap time as payments are month to month. Not happy Dodo.

Just over two weeks ago on writing these comments regarding issues when signing up with Dodo I still have not heard back from them although mediation was requested. This company is quick at signing you up and getting your money but won’t respond to issues bought up.

Switchover was easy. Modem arrived early. Literally plug & play. Reconnecting other devices ,especially security cameras was a walm in the park unlike previous experiences. This is 2nd day of service. Hoping this is standard. Show details

 Follow-up  · Too many dropouts, lots more buffering experienced in last 2 weeks. To be fair, could be the weather, could be nbn. Checked with neighbors on optus n telstra ; they did not experience buffering. & there's definitely been less usage as the heavy users have moved out.

called, I was pleasantly surprised that an agent picked up almost immediately - I was very impressed (trust me, I've tried a lot of different telecommunications companies, some, I'd be lucky if they pick up within an hour).

We discovered that my modem does not support high-speed fibre (100MB/s at max), but the agent quickly suggested downgrading my plan, which I was happy with. He also provided clear instructions for configuring my modem.

After the call, I updated my modem settings using the provided credentials and was able to connect to the internet straight away. I’m currently getting around 70 Mbps download and just over 40 Mbps upload, which I’m very happy with.

Overall, I’m really pleased with the service, the team’s expertise, and the internet speed!

Just purchased a modem from dodo 09/04/26 when I opened the package it was an older model. I rang to discuss and the representative told me they would not exchange it and to sell it on market place. Wow any one thinking of going with dodo stay clear. I Will be cancelling my account. Show details

cancelled with Dodo, contacted Leaptel at 3:45pm and genuinely had my internet on at 6:10pm. Do not use Dodo it is not worth their low level poor service.

I've NEVER had to do previously when switching from another NBN provider.

Absolutely OVER IT and just want to cancel now and go to another provider where you can actually get connected on the day they say you will.

AVOID at all costs in my opinion unless you are prepared for one giant headache.

NBN 500 ≠ 500mbps. Lucky to get 100mbps, false advertising at is best. Offered me $10 discount after complaining, so $90 for NBN 80. Had great speeds and connection untill the 'free speed upgrades' where everyone got free upgrades to faster plans. Ruined it. Struggle to get over 100mbps, normally around the 80mbps mark. 300mbps prior to changes. I gave the benefit of the doubt, swapped modem, reset internet, optimised channels etc and made no difference, just wasted more of time. Streaming has issues, ended up using mobile internet more recently hence why I looked into billing and cancelled on the spot.

$100 for NBN 80, in 2026 is shameful. I thought I was paying substantially less, don't get a bill via email, they just take money out with direct debit... that's transparent. If this company had any decency they'd refund me my money from when speeds degraded, apologise, or make some attempt to rectify. They don't care, they'll keep pushing their discounted plans to new customers and cycle progresses.

Contacting customer service is an absolute joke. Request call backs never received them, have spent hours waiting on the app to be disconnected because the app needs to be refreshed, signs you out and have to sign in again and start over.

Found on whistle out web site that Dodo was cheapest for me (with discount applied for a year), so went to Dodo web site, and it took me 5 minutes to buy the plan. Was connected 2 hours later without having to touch the modem or do anything else. The real test will come if something goes wrong! Show details

terrible, or in my case, completely 100% non-existent. Obviously not looking to grow the business. Honestly a very weird strategy. Or is it apathy? Incompetence? If I was an investor i'd be asking the owner these questions.

tried contacting support repeatedly, waiting excessively long every time. When I finally got through, I was transferred from person to person, and in the end they denied that any discount had ever been offered. This is unacceptable, especially when the chat history should clearly confirm what was communicated.

Whether it was a serious breakdown in their sales process or misleading information from their own agent, the outcome is the same: the trust is gone. I am now considering disconnecting entirely. The discount itself is irrelevant at this point — it’s the dishonest communication and the misleading promises, combined with the poor handling of the issue, that clearly show why I can no longer trust this service.

calls back and forth, with each party blaming someone else and no real help provided. Meanwhile, they had already taken payment for the first month. Their eventual solution was simply to cancel the service after a full week of us trying to resolve the issue.

I have never experienced such poor service for something that should have been straightforward. Save yourself the time and avoid.
