I am pleased with the way the matter was handled. The manager was professional and clearly cared about resolving the issue properly.
A special mention also to the delivery driver, who handled the pickup and delivery courteously and efficiently. He also capably assembled the lounges.
It is reassuring to see a business stand behind its products and look after its customers. I remain a very satisfied Domayne Auburn customer.
Worst lounge ever purchased – I had a lounge delivered in November 2022, however, in a year and a half the firmness has reduced drastically. However, we are extremely disappointed after paying almost $6000 for a set of 2. Additionally, the leather care warranty products have not arrived to date nor have we received a call asking us to collect them from the store.
The customer team member has been very helpful, in trying to assist however we recently changed our area rug to a smaller one and found more issues with the lounge. If you sit on one side of the lounge it tends to go into a dip and bend a bit and the middle leg that should support the lounge and balance its weight does not touch the floor. The supplier has responded that we would need to send the cushions over to replace the foam and they would also send a replacement leg with a different height. Now the issue with the bend when seated is yet to be addressed and I have not got a reply yet from the supplier on when we should send the cushions over for the foam to be replaced and what we would do in the meantime without cushions.
This lounge was made in Australia and not sure how it passed the quality, weight capacity test and foam density test.
If a manager is reading this, I would sincerely advise that this lounge be taken back and a refund is issued as this is the second one that I've bought with you and has come with issues, especially when one issue leads to finding multiple other issues with the lounge.
Horrible experience, never again – We bought a number of items from Domayne Auburn and every single one of them had defects. A tabletop even had a nail sticking out of the top. Mattress was good but extremely irresponsible 3rd party Delivery and poor customer service – The delivery people were really rough, broke the mattress box and the plastic inside so it's easier for them to lift the mattress but left a big stain (dirty finger print) on my temper mattress. If I could rate minus stars I would – I purchased outdoor dining set from Domayne Auburn. 7 out of 8 chairs were damaged, 4 cushions had marks and the table itself was also damaged. This is new information for us, and nothing was told to us at delivery, they delivered straight to the bedroom upstairs. so basically Domayne delivered an expensive mattress damaging it and now they are not taking responsibility and we are being send back and forth between the manufacturer (A H Beards) and them. had a Seafood Platter waiting for him and what decision was there to make, the bed would be more than $10,000 tomorrow which it was not, he lied to us. It was the same $ at the end of the week and the week after and to this day is virtually the same price. They won't refund my $1,000. Even worse, it was much cheaper at two other stores. I called Domayne Auburn to follow up on my order as no one called me. The representative who answered my called said that my sales person is with another customer and took my details down to arrange a call back... No one called back, so again on Friday morning I called again and this time asked to speak to the manager. However I was told hat the manager is busy and was asked to leave my contact details. I refused and advised the representative that I left a message yesterday and no one returned my call. I requested an update on my order and was advise that it just arrived to the warehouse and I should be able to collect it early next week. At this point I lost all trust in anything they say and requested to cancel my order. The representative told me if I cancel the order, I will lose 25% of the amount!! I said you did not keep you word so I will refer this matter to NSW Fair Trade to investigate.
Later on the day the so called "manager" called me back and instead of apologising and trying the understand the situation, he started to make excuses saying that he was away!

After 7 business days pass, about 10 or so days after I placed the order, I decided to call up Domayne Online to follow up on the order because I hadn’t heard anything. They told me to call the local store where I had arranged for pick-up which I did but they had no record of the order. I contacted Domayne Online again via chat and they could find no record of the order. I’m freaking out by this point and check my bank statements which show the money was taken by Domayne. The guy I spoke with on chat advised he would get someone to investigate the next day as it was after hours at the time. I didn’t want to wait so I called Domayne again the following day, still no record of my order but they promised someone would call me back. Someone actually did call me back that afternoon and they discovered that the order was not processed because they don’t allow for pick-up on orders to South Australia. Why then was it given as an option on the website when I was placing the order? So they tell me they are going to refund the money and then they say that I have to place the order again for postage, not pick-up. This is not convenient for me with my work hours and I can’t get a computer delivered to my workplace. By this point it was late November. There was no apology AT ALL for wasting my time, for letting my order sit there unfulfilled for almost two weeks, for falsely advertising a service they had no intention of fulfilling. So I got the refund and I was tempted to just order from someplace else but the items I wanted were now reduced and even cheaper than when I first tried to order so I thought I’d give it another try and this time I order the same items from Domayne to be posted to me. What are the chances they can stuff up the order twice in a row? The website promises 3-5 days for express postage. As soon as the order is processed, I get an email explaining there is a delay with one of the items, the computer, in the order so it will take up to 14 days. That was annoying because if my original order has been processed on time, I might not have needed to wait for more stock to arrive for them to fulfil orders again. So two weeks come and go. I called again to check on the order because based on my experience so far I wasn’t even sure they were going to process this one either. I’m told the stock will be coming in around 13-15 December, longer than estimated, and then they will be able to post my order out. On 14 December I got a frantic phonecall from a Domayne store in Canberra apologising (finally, an apology!) for the long wait but I was going to have to wait a bit more because the new stock had come in but it had all been sold quickly and they forgot to set one computer aside for my order. THEY FORGOT. They ended up tracking down a computer FINALLY from another store and FINALLY they get ready to send it all off. Via StarTrack. As soon as they told me it was going via StarTrack my stomach dropped because if you want to know how great their service is just go and read reviews for StarTrack and yes my experience trying to get my package off of them was horrendous but that’s a story for another review. I had to keep calling and emailing Domayne Online trying to get hold of a tracking number because my order was being sent in two separate parcels and I had only being given one tracking number. Its about a week to Christmas at this point and I’m freaking out worrying they wont arrive in time to be a gift. They did eventually give me both tracking numbers and the parcels finally arrived 20th December but by god the whole experience was so stressful and took a lot of work/follow-up on my part to ensure they actually fulfilled the order because on two separate occasions they FORGOT about my order. In the end it took more than a month, almost 5 weeks, to receive my computer. They sent me an email apologising and they threw in a free 16GB USB with my order to say sorry but honestly, I will not order from Domayne Online again because this is just plain sloppy work. Its like they not only don’t know how to run an online store, but they don’t even know what an online store IS. Its like someone described what good customer service and an online store is to them down the phone one day and they were like “Derp, let me try!” On two occasions they just let my order sit there unfulfilled but were happy to take my money. Honestly appalling service.
