that it was the compressor and that it was covered under consumer law. Samsung have offered numerous situations whereby they had someone come out to fix it - it didn't work then they offered to decline my warranty but offer me 40% discount voucher on certain fridges (80% of the fridges were not in stock) and now the latest is 30% discount voucher on a french door fridge over 600 litres but again only the specified fridges they allow (never got a list). I have chosen a side by side fridge over 600 litres and they have disagreed and only offered me 10% discount voucher with $50 credit. Domayne I was originally your customer and would like to know if you can do anything about this ridiculous farce by this company Samsung. I don't have an issue with you because you did do the right thing. The last time I rang you was to get the last invoice and I was informed by your staff that I as a customer have every right to seek assistance from you as a company. I am now asking for your advice

The two young men in the warehouse when I picked up my purchase were top class. They helped with loading the purchase onto our trailer, they prepared extra packaging under our item so it wouldn't be damaged then they helped wrapped it in plastic due to predicted rain. After another visit to Domayne and many phone calls later even to [name removed] the branch proprietor, I finally receive a visit from the service agent who could not resolve the problem. Domayne have not offered a resolution, even though the oven is not fit for purpose. a phone call to Domayne Head office was more frustrating, with the only person available being [name removed] from the furniture side, who was totally unhelpful. If you expect after sales service, Domayne is not the company to deal with.

Robbed with a refrigerator purchase – We bought an expensive refrigerator from Domaine which is quite good, but they offered another one for just under $400.00 which we consider to be a fraudulent sale. The products are good but getting them is not easy – We have bought a number of items, sofa, bed, outdoor setting, oven/cooktop/rangehood. We had issues with the delivery/arrival of every item. The 4 seater sofa arrived across 3 days as there were mix ups with cushions and the 2 1/2 seater arrived on the third day. week. The following week we were told the bed would now be another 8 weeks (the amount of time taken to make the bed from initial order). We suspect our original bed ended up with another customer. The outdoor setting needed an extra chair to be ordered from Sydney. Two weeks later we checked where our chair was to be told it was in Brisbane and they would now arrange to get it to the Gold Coast warehouse for us to pick it up. We bought this as we were told it had marine grade screws. 6 weeks in these are already rusting. We bought appliances for our kitchen reno. We were told all items would be in by the end of the next week. A month later, after some items came in and were taken by other customers (confirmed by salesperson) we received the final item, the oven. We understand there are delivery issues during Co-Vid however this wasn’t helped by misinformation and items being promised and then not being available on multiple occasions. The warehouse guys were great and I am sure we would not have received our oven when we did without their help.

Dont buy extra warranty on your MacBook – Pretty unsatisfied with the sales team. They uphold me a few years extra warrant on my MacBook when you automatically get 3 years warranty under the consumer law anyway (if something is broken). You can replace the laptop with domayne warranty but the only reason I would need to replace it is if the laptop breaks which they always seem to. Anyway, dodgy and wont be buying from you again. plenty of patience with us , showing a genuine interest in listening .. we went to other shop to compare prices and found products a bit cheaper than at 'domayne', but we were so impressed with the service of Laura that decided to return back to her. At the end we had received more than expected, bought several items with great discounts (better than at any other shops) and she covered all our concerns with her great service, even organising an extra help for plumbing of our new fridge. Later we returned back for the extra thing to buy (another Dryer machine for our relative). We definitely will come back again. All your people are excellent, helpful and friendly, but Laura is exceptional, we felt that we were in sincere hands. that were “great”, “I’ve got one myself” and “are design to fit and be comfortable”. It literally fell off and got lost when I bring them out for a WALK. It’s really sad and terrible really, that’s not even a full two weeks since I own them. Call them up and was told their products was great, “that have never happened to the pair I own” and that it’s “your fault our great products don’t work”. The solution was is you can get another pair at discount. So if you got money to waste and seeking a disappointing experience, come to Domayne Bundall! They will sell you a pair of earphones for $169, give you a discount to $139 when it’s a $129 product. And if the product design fail to work as promised, don’t worry! They can get you a brand new one at 2/3 the price you paid for, while letting you know it was your fault you bought into their words anyways! These aren’t design to fit, they’re designed to sell!
So honestly, do yourself a favour and shop at Harvey Norman next door. They are cheaper, more honest, actually try to follow up on products that they sell.
Other fun things when you shop at Domayne: they will try to sell you an OPTUS plan almost with every purchase. No really, they’ll spend an hour on convincing you. If they give you a gift card, it’ll be a goose chase to redeem the full amount. Shopping here is literally having to always be careful about what you wish for. EVERYTHING about this store will have a flip side or some sort of plot twist. It’s so frustrating to deal with them. So rarely do I lose temper with businesses since I know it’s hard on them too but GOD is this a bad store!
Dreadful service – We bought a fridge at the Bundall store, during the Sidchrome bonus gift offer. Salesman took $70 off the fridge and then refused to give us the tools because of the "bargain" fridge deal. Went next door to Harvey Norman to find the fridge for $300 cheaper! Norton package (for 5 devices which was ridiculous) and we later found out from an Apple store employee that Apple computers don't need anti-virus protection!!!! Do your research before you purchase a computer from Domayne, I would only buy the computer and wouldn't spring for the 3-year warranty... just seems unnecessary.
Untrained rude staff – I bought a fridge just before boxing day and the salesperson told me if they have the fridge any cheaper on boxing day they would honour me the difference. I went back on boxing day and the fridge was cheaper than my purchase so I went up to the salesperson and he said that he would not do it. my coffee machine replaced the same day.
The tablet was fixed by the in-house technician and given back to me.
This is the way it should be but in many other electronics stores, the returns policy seems to be "deny everything, blame the customer and ell them to get lost" so when I have a shop deal with problems properly, I am encouraged to go back.
Also it's nice to see salespeople who are actually honest about what their extended warranty does.
