He took the time to understand the purpose of our build and what we wanted to include. He then guided us toward choices that made sense for an investment property. His advice helped us balance livability and comfort for potential tenants, and durability and cost for us as investors. He was always friendly, open to ideas and quick to follow up on anything we raised. The Office teams were easy to deal with. They're friendly, responsive and great at keeping us updated. Our building supervisor, Lee, was also approachable and patient. He handled any small questions/requests along the way without any fuss. The home was finished on time, within budget and with the quality we expect from SSB. Overall, Dreamstart Homes delivered a smooth experience and a result we’re really happy with.

the reply I received regarding the issue from dreamstart when try contacting them

As per the National Construction Code (NCC), we are not required to provide mechanical ventilation to a Bathroom, Ensuite or Toilet provided the room has an openable window.

The opening Panel of the window needs to be min 5% of the floor area of the room it is ventilating.

The only time a Bathroom, Ensuite or WC has to have mechanical ventilation is when there is no natural ventilation to the room or abut onto a habitual room.

The Plans have been approved by the City of Wanneroo, if the house was non-compliant with this clause in the NCC the shire wouldn’t provide a building permit and they would make us install an exhaust fan.

If you are wishing for the bathroom to have a exhaust, you will need to contact a licensed Electrician to assist with the install.

To be honest, as a first time home builder, these things could be quite confusing, but Jack took the time to actually explain everything to me in great detail of all the processing, time lines and giving me the ease and peace of mind to build my first home

Once I was ready to build, the process was extremely smooth, Jack from Dreamstart came to me with different land and build packages, time lines and the process, once I picked he did all the heavy lifting,

Even with the home design they took into consideration what my needs were, gave me all the things that I needed and did the adjustments that I wanted, everything communicated and transparent,

And now I am in the middle of the build, I haven’t had any issues or dramas with dreamstart and Jack, they have been communicating with me with every step and process of the build,

I have recommended dream start to couple of my friend already as I want them to have the same experience as myself
