I have several pairs of Dresden glasses and frames. I always get great comments about the colours I wear. Their shopping experience is fantastic and nothing is a bother to correct if not quite right. I wouldn’t waste my money on the $1000 glasses I have had to buy in the past. Keep up the fantastic work.

Service seemed friendly and prompt with clear communication. Glasses arrived after a couple of weeks , as said. Quite pleased with the glasses, the virtual try on for frames was effective and quite easy. For the price the glasses seem OK, although they don't seem to be very "wide" vision and I am having a bit of trouble focusing when I put my head down to read e.g. a newspaper. Show reply

I have just purchased my 4th pair of glasses from Dresden. I LOVE them! The service is amazing, the delivery time is exceptional, and the quality is great. Dresden have become a perfect example of enshittification. They started great but gradually became expensive garbage just like the other franchises. moulded in three sizes that cost cents. They charge $70 now for a frame and if you want to deduct the frame from the order, they only deduct $10. How is that “democratising glasses” as per mission statement? It’s theft on my books.

They also suffer from very poor consistency. The frames break easily and yes they will send you a “free” replacement but you have to pay $10 postage, and considering they only cost cents to make, they are not really sending you anything for free.

Over the years I also found that way too many times lenses had to be re-made because they’re not done right first time.

Sadly, as much as I loved their original quality and business model, I won’t be buying anymore Dresden glasses.

Three out of my four frames broke within six weeks and now I’m in a cycle with buying more frames for these useless lenses, flimsy and defect design, so not be fooled by the pretty colour options.

Unhappy with the interpretation of my prescription – Glasses feel great but prescription isn't the same strength as a pair I got from a different bricks and mortar store store leaving me unsure whether to purchase through Dresden again

My Dresden glasses are a perfect fit & style. The measurements, try on feature & different styles on the website, make the whole process seamless. I actually can't believe how easy it was. I'm impressed with the quality. I also love not having to try on so many different types, as this is overwhelming... I only need choose my colour & select from 2 styles. The best glasses I’ve ever had, and I’ve had many!!!! Great lenses and the frames are so comfortable I forget I’m wearing them. All other glasses felt heavy or slipped down my nose and with the different size frames and arms you can pick what fits you. Love them!!

I have been using Dresden Glasses for about 4 years now, they allow me to choose colours for my mood, playful, thoughtful or business like. They are as tough as RM Williams boots but have style that many people comment on and the price is just great value. A triumph of design the way the arms and even lenses are interchangeable. Best value in Australia, and Australian made too!!!

I've got to say the glasses are fantastic. Very light and my worries about them not sitting on my nose have been allayed as they sit perfectly. The lenses are also high quality and the online measuring tool has got the fit just right. They are the most comfortable pair of glasses I've had in a long time.

Very good price and I was contacted to make sure my order was correct. The glasses are exactly my prescription, very light and comfortable. One pair is my first transition lens and they work very well. The only issue is that on one of the frames the pins on the side that hold the arms on pop up whenever I put the glasses on. They haven't fallen off or come loose, but it is unusual if you're used to having screws that can be tightened there. Show reply

These glasses are strong, stylish and affordable. The processing of ordering is fast, the Dresden team made contact to clarify some queries with my optometry script, and they were dispatched quickly. I made the mistake of ordering white frames rather than clear frames, and this was quickly fixed up when I dropped by their store in Melbourne.
