I had to sit down directly after leaving the store just to write a 5 star review!! – Rex and Wendy were so friendly and personable. Faulty product, delayed replacement – We purchased an outdoor table on the 2nd August 2020. It arrived on the 27th August and was defective (the frame was misaligned with the supporting structure). reason provided upon our objection to the delay was that preferential treatment could not be given to us over customers that had placed orders for the same table. This is simply not good enough. Defective products should be replaced as a priority over sales and profit.

Staff doesn't know their own procedure – We purchased an item, paid deposit and we are told we can pay the rest on the pick up day that supposed to be this Thursday. I just received a text message to pay the outstanding balance by 4 pm on Sunday!, no any mention about not getting my item as planned. pushed back and I can not pick it up when i was told i can do so. So better I pay and "will do our best to have your item ready". Well, train your staff guys to not tell things that you cant keep. Very disappointed.

Stay away.......... New way of losing your money and hope....... Do not even go into the store to look around – I bought a set of dinning table, two stools, one side table and a coffee table. When arrived, they were all in different colours. I asked the delivery man not to leave them there but he said he is only delivery and we should contact customer service. they has recently changed the style. We ordered them almost 2 months ago and they did not updated us about the change. However, they changed there words many times. After a week of sending emails back and forth I went to the fortitude valley store but I faced the rudest staff I've ever seen in Australia. They accused me of lying and changing my word. I requested to talk to their manager/supervisor but they said they had not manager and they work on their own. After 9 days, I called the customer service and they said I can return them but they only refund me 80% of my money. UNBELIEVABLE. !!!! This is how they make money, renting a shop near other luxury brands such as Nick Scali and sending rubbish furniture to people and delaying in answering complaints then telling you that you have to pay 20% of the rubbish price.

Everything seems fine until you give them your good money. They don't even answer your questions after that. They just refer you to the customer service number which is more like another section to pick more money out of your pocket.

This is my honest recommendation. STAY A.W.A.Y!

delivery guys only said they were tasked to assemble one item. I range the shop and they said I had to pay an extra $50 to assemble the second item in spite of them saying different before. Very poor and deceitful service.

Poor Quality and Atrocious Customer service for Warranty – Bought a Clover King Bed. Service through Sale and the guys who delivered and assembled was great. Then we had the bed part collapse less than 3 months later. not sufficient to hold the weight. You are advised that you will get a response 2-3 days after lodging a claim form. we are 5 days later with no contact from the customer service team at all. Follow up emails go unanswered. The phone goes to voicemail and any messages have not been responded to. We can only speak to the team at the store we bought from who lack the power to solve the issue, they speak to head office for us who make promises of a call that doesn't occur. There is no escalation point and from the looks of all the other reviews, they do not care at all about customer service once you have the furniture.

calling me a liar and offering no solutions. I wouldn't have bothered to write a review if he hasn't been so incredibly rude and condescending. The only positive is they assemble and take away rubbish, but that's really a positive for the delivery contractor not Early Settler.

They just went that little bit further – I was in your store with my 1yr old who was being quite a hand full. I bought two largish ceramic items and Ellen your staff member not only wrapped them in a box for me but also helped me by bringing them to the car for me on a trolley. Delay in delivery – The due date for our delivery was late January. Few days before our delivery, we were advised that our order is not ready for the promised day and our delivery date has been pushed back to late February. top out out the box to find it was already broken in half, I called the store and they were great about it all. i was offered the option to wait for another one to come into stock again or swap with the floor stock - I chose to take the floor stock home the same day. Wonderful service and would definitely purchase there again.

As I really liked their furniture, We decided to try the city store at fortitude valley. A different experience, their service on the telephone and in store at the fortitude valley store was exceptional. Brad was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. This made it easy and fuss free. Then to add to my delight I was approached by 2 smiling and cheerful people that looked like they were actually happy to be at work. This was Wendy and Brad. Good on ES for doing whatever you 're doing because your staff were happy to assist and made me feel like my needs were important. I won't really bother going into any other homeward store at this centre. Up the escalator I go directly to ES.

Nice experience – Yesterday I stumbled across your store in Fortitude Valley.
