The broker initially assigned was helpful, reliable and easy to deal with. Our application was then handed over to a “senior broker” who has dragged our application out for over six months, takes weeks to respond to calls or emails, has requested information from us at least half a dozen times due to time lapsing and has had us repeat verifications because she hadn’t bothered to check to file to see what was done prior to taking over. There was no need to change brokers. We were more than happy with our first broker. The senior broker made a complete mockery of the situation and we will never use this service again, nor will we ever recommend it
Poor communication, inept operations. Steer clear of eChoice.
I engaged eChoice to refinance my home loan on March 3 2021. I was assigned to Divya who took me though all the discovery questions needed to commence the process. I provided all of my documentation and answered all questions on March 11. In this information, I disclosed to Divya that I have a credit card with a $5k limit that I use mainly for collecting frequent flyer points, and asked if I needed to close this to proceed with the application. I was advised I didn't need to and I may be asked during the application process to close it if it wi...ll help get the application over the line. After submitting all this to Divya, I was advised by email I would receive a call "Monday or Tuesday". I didn't get a call and followed up with an email on the Wednesday advising of times I was available for a call. I didn't get a response until a week later where I was presented with three banks to choose from. I settled with ANZ as they had the most attractive offer for my requirements. After some additional delays, my application was completed and submitted to ANZ on April 16. After two weeks of radio silence, I was emailed by someone on April 30 (no name on the email, just a generic 'echoice team') to advise that ANZ will pick up my file on May 10. I understand that during this busy period of everyone wanting to refinance, it will take some time for the bank to review. By May 13 I had heard nothing, so tried to call to no avail, then emailed asking for an update. I received a response same day saying the bank had pushed put the application to May 17. By May 25, I had heard nothing. I tried calling Divya but couldn't get through. I called the main eChoice number and was told that someone will call be back with an update. I received no such call. I emailed asking for an update and got no response. I called the main eChoice number again on May 27 and was told that Divya had left, and that the person looking at my file was in a meeting and will call me back before COB that day. I never received a call. The next day (May 28) I called the main number again, and was told the person looking at my file was in a meeting and will call me back within 30 minutes. Almost two hours later, I received a phone call from Kiefer who is a manager at eChoice and apologised for not ensuring a smooth hand over of my file from Divya to her replacement. After looking at my file, Kiefer advised that my application with ANZ was actually denied on May 19 because a credit check had revealed they found a credit card on my file that 'was not disclosed', even though I had disclosed that Divya and eChoice during the initial discovery questions in March. Kiefer then committed to have my file reviewed with ANZ and this question on the credit card cleared up.

Clear and concise information and advice given ad hoc. Prompt response to financial matters. Happy with the excellent services and would highly recommend who is looking for any financial advice.

Don’t look past EChoice for refinancing!
From start to finish customer service was 10/10. Fergus was with us every step of the way. Not only did we get a better interest rate on our new loan we had someone understand our personal needs. The only issue we had was our former bank/loan being released. No extra/hidden costs, a great interest rate. You are supported with every step made no to hard questions and everything presented nothing hidden.
