update I was told it's now August... I guess they will tell you anything to get your order but what an absolute let down in execution.

I understand that there is shipping delays right now due but 8 months for windows?!! I would definitely use a different company next time.

We heard about Ecostar by searching them up on google. I like the quality of the product is excellent . The installation was problem free and my 4 window's and my door was installed in 1 day. and garbage trucks. Now with the new window's installed it has cut down the noise by 70%. Even having the half the house done it has changed it a great deal we hardly use the aircons now. Now we have the whole house done we cant imagine what it will do it terms of noise and thermal effiececny. I like the looks they are a bonus. Before hand i had condensation now there is none on my double glazed windows. I reccomend anyone to get quote and if they go ahead with it im sure they will be happy with the result.

thermal efficiency. it is now warmer in winter and cooler in summer. i like the look also. From start to finish i was well informed. all of the staff were amazing.

out with a good deal. Noise wise you could hear the outside speakers, but after installing you can't hear the speakers anymore. From the samples brought to the sales visit, it would appear Eurostar sell a high quality, well designed product (although fly screens are not part of the design but must be sourced from a third party after installation) with a seemingly good warranty/guarantee. selling technique with incremental price drops with more conditions added (requiring phone calls for approval) in trying to get you to sign up on the day, is pathetic, deceptive and insulting. There was panic and attempts to reschedule when early on my partner announced that she would leave for work after an hour (but the young salesperson otherwise stuck to his script impressively - even after I stated clearly we would not consider finance, multiple times he insisted on going through this option). At the end, we got one document I photocopied and a business card, but none of the brochures and leaflets, or sheets the salesperson scribbled all the special offers on. And no quotation has ever been received. If you wanted to go with them and are willing to sign up on the day, I would suggest offering at most 50% of the first price mentioned and rejecting all the special conditions that get thrown in as the price drops. Funny business - might have a better, but more expensive product, than the aluminium equivalent but they seem to have decided they must try to stop potential customers from being attracted by lower prices by getting a commitment on the day. But the st>pid price dropping process is extremely off-putting. In cases like ours where we would seriously consider spending a bit more, they lost us because we were p*ssed off with the sales approach - a straight out best offer and some time to consider could have been successful.

suddenly the quote was $48,000 – nearly half the original price! This blatant price manipulation felt incredibly dishonest. To add to the frustration, the salesman wasted over two hours of my time with irrelevant information about windows supposedly coming from England. It was clear they were using high-pressure sales tactics straight out of a textbook. They didn't even seem to know the product, reading everything off a printed page. Their lack of belief in their own product was evident. I would strongly advise against using EcoStar Windows.

The product looks good, but the whole sales process is a joke. We got the rep in and after 2hrs he "calculated" the price after hinting several times that a quality product is expensive. So for 9 windows the quote came to $114,000. We clearly stated we will discuss the quote and will revert. Amazingly the price was then reduced to $79,000.… Read more

Again politely we indicated we will need to time to discuss. Again another discount was offered after he "called" his boss. Bringing the price down to $64,000. Again we stated we will need time to discuss. Then we were told if we dont sign the same day and pay a 20% deposit that the price wont be the same.

It completely felt like we were being pressurised to sign. Allowing no time for discussion. He even offered to go get his dinner and then come back which should be enough time to decide. At this point I started getting really irritated. I literally told him, I am at the point in time now where by principal even if they drop the price more that I wont sign. He immediately packed up his stuff. We even had to follow up 4 days later to get the quote in writing. We received no breakdown in the written quote but just a price.

What I dont understand is how people can believe that $114,000 is a reasonable price and yet they devaluate their own product by such a massive discount. Surely if they quote properly they would get more business. At $64,000 they are still making a profit.

But wait, lets blame the government for inflation and abhorrent pricing.

An absolute disgrace of a sales process and of a company

regulalating internal temperatures and it reduced the noise. We didn't need to use the heater as much. There was a reduction in the traffic noise and the trams in particular. It still came through when the windows were open of course, but worked when they were shut. The noise wasn't really a driving factor, but it was a benefit.

The installation was as expected. There weren't any challenges and no concerns.

Both installations were only one day. There was a scratch in one of the panels on one of the doors and the installation team organized a replacement.

We went with white frames which fitted in with the existing arrangements. We didn't have any restrcitons with the body corporate. It matched the style. We had internal blinds which were able to go back on easily. We didn't have to do too much more.

The only thing we didn't quite do was adding a security door which would have been nice to have, we added flyscreens to the windows which were good.

Today we are looking at some more sliding doors and windows from Jared for the insulation.

We saw Ecostar on TV. We replaced two doors in our kitchen dining to work in conjuction with our solar panels we put on. I didn't want to have old roman blinds. very good for the heat and cold. With the old single glazing you couldn't sit near the door in the winter because you could get too cold as you could feel the cold. Now that the double glazing is in, it is fantastic. On a hot day it is great.

Now my neighbor can do the mowing and it is not annoying any more.

I like the looks of them. No complaints. We had a little issue with some fog inside the window, but they replaced it no problem. When I rang up the came out the next day to fix.

Today we are doing a few windows at the front of the house from Jared.

I ordered my window's in February and they were installed in may. I ordered 5 windows from EcoStar and so far everything is going great! I ordered the window's because i was worried about moisture and wanted better thermal efficiency. The installers were professional and very good and cleaned up well. no problems no drama's. the window's. Levi was was doing his job however i didn't like the mucking around. Overall I am very happy installation and the product has met my expectations. The product is what Levi said it was it is superb.

has reduced the noise by 80% in that room. The biggest benefit for us is having a warmer house. It used to get cold at night, but now it no longer does. We haven't had anyone try to break in since installing the windows, which has been reassuring. We also like utilising the night vent position on our windows. The installers were great they cleaned up all the mess, and everything was installed within one day. Everyone who has come to our house has been really professional, including Garth, who installed our screens for us which we really appreciated.

I started with the laundry and the TV room.

Then I came back and did meals area, kitchen and dining room.

The security is excellent. Very happy with the looks of the windows. When I had an issue they came out quickly and fixed it.

It is expensive, but then again, what isn't these days.

Today I'm looking at getting the window done in the lounge room and office from Jared.

Be warned, husband and wife (or the equivalent) have to be present to get a quote. My wife, who owns the house, was declined a quote because I wasn't in the same room. cycling. We looked at providers. I've never been happy with Australian double glazing as 5mm isn't enough as an air gap. When you go above the 10mm air gap you go to Ecostar. My understanding of UPVC is that we don't make UPVC very well in Australia, so I was wanting to get away from Australian products. We travel for 2-3 months through Europe every year and we wanted to replicate the windows in Europe as our experience with that has been very good.

It has certainly improved the thermal cycling. It has improved. Still cold in winter in the morning, but no where near as cold as it was. Since putting the double glazing there was a noticeable reduction in the thermal cycling. In July in the middle of winter, we now go to bed at 10pm and the room is warm where previously it would be very cold. On a hot 37 degree day we turn the air conditioning on for an hour and a half, and it cools it down and stays that way where previously it would have been on the whole day.

At 6am in the morning we no longer hear the garbage trucks any more which we used to hear. Developers work at 630am which we don't hear as we wake up at 8am which has been lovely.

We are quite happy with the looks. I much prefer the Ecostar casements rather than the sash windows we used to have. There was no ventilation with the old sash windows, but now the ventilation has improved without a doubt. Now I can stand at the window and connect with the outside world.

The installers were good. Installers cleaned up after themselves. No problems at all. They arrived when they said they'd arrive. They were cheerful and happy. Took the old windows away. The installers went above and beyond. They came up against some problems and they solved them.

Zacc was good.

Today we are looking at getting downstairs done from Jared.

I've been in corporate organisations most of my working life and am attracted to companies that are ISO certified with 9000. I've found Ecostar to be an exemplar of a ISO 9000 organisation. Ecostar under promised and overdelivered.

series of “discounts”, all well above what had been quoted by other companies for similar products. After we had decided we wanted nothing to do with the company due to their sales techniques and had rejected all quotes from the salesman and he had left, they finally contacted us via phone with a reasonable quote. Worst sales experience of my life. I will never deal with this company again.
