The real standout for us though was our Site Supervisor, Tanna. We felt so lucky to have him. He’s clearly an expert at what he does, but more than that, he’s professional, patient and actually cares about the homes he’s building. No build is ever perfect, but having a supervisor who genuinely listens and just gets things fixed makes all the difference. We made a terrible mistake of building our family home thru Eden Brae Homes. one defective item. It's very noisy and the dresser in our bedroom trembles when someone walking pass. They sent their dodgy maintenance guys who could not fix the problem. Stairs make noise when you going upstairs. The sliding door in the formal living are could not be aligned even after several attempts by their maintenance team. We are taking the matter to NCAT with a lot of defects. We are gobsmacked with the ratings awarded to EBH by Housing Building Industry Association. We will be lodging a formal complaint with all the industry regulators for breaching Sec 52 of TPA NSW for misleading and deceptive conduct, ACCC, ASIC to take action against the Directors. Never Ever refer EBH to anyone. Our friends who are building with over a $m budget signed with other builders after talking to us.

Their commucation system in place is very clear and simple to follow up via the portal where everything is documented, a regular follow up with the customer service administrators and site supervisors.The material and colours selection at Studio Eden was so exciting and lot of knowledge was gained thanks to the home designers ready to assist you in any ways so your are 100% in love with your future home! We were looked after so well even when issues occured duringthe process, as nothing can be perfect in this world but they immediately responded with solutions to ensure 100% satisfaction is provided. Not reliable – We had very bitter experience with the Eden Brae Home - Hunter New Castle building team. Does not pay attention to details and does not value our expectations. Attempted mediation but never received contact from Eden Brae. There was a severe lack of transparency throughout the build, with hidden costs arising after contract signing. that we could not move in sooner due to an extensive cleaning period; however, only a basic builder’s clean was completed, amounting to a quick dust wipe. Significant black marks on the kitchen bench top were raised throughout the build and were never properly resolved.

Upon receiving the keys, the home was in poor condition. The external brickwork showed inconsistent colouring and missing mortar. The garage door was dented and marked. The front door was covered in mud, and the new door handle was visibly marked, setting the tone for what followed.

Issues identified during the partial completion inspection were never properly rectified. We were repeatedly assured that defects would be resolved, yet ongoing follow-ups led nowhere. When maintenance was arranged, work was often left unfinished or made worse, and trades frequently failed to attend despite us rearranging our schedules.

The overall workmanship is extremely poor, particularly with painting, joinery and Di Lorenzo flooring. The quality of trades used was unacceptable. Improperly finished gyprock joints throughout the house along with cracks. Electrical work was not completed in accordance with the plans, and independent electricians later identified exposed wiring. Carpeting was incompletely installed, with nails protruding and causing injury. This issue was initially dismissed by the supervisor and only addressed after photographic evidence of injuries was provided, at which point maintenance confirmed the carpet had been installed incorrectly. Tiles were a different colour to those selected and confirmed in writing by Di Lorenzo. All windows are scratched, yet we have been told they simply require cleaning. Toilets are cracked, shower heads are broken and were installed incorrectly, causing excess splash.

The painting quality is substandard. We were charged extra for white paint, yet there are drip marks throughout the home, paint splashed over tiles and vanities, and multiple unresolved maintenance issues remain.

Overall, this was an extremely stressful experience from start to finish. The builder requires a serious review of customer experience, communication, and quality control. We would not recommend them.

I approached Eden Brae Homes about getting a knockdown rebuild done. I was lucky to be contacted by Kamrul. Of all the companies and people I have spoken to, Kamrul was by far the most helpful and knowledgeable. We selected Eden Brae Fairmont 23 for our 1st build based on the positive feedback it has received over years. questioning if Eden Brae is good builder or not around hunter region?

We have completed our Studio Eden selection stage which is a big plus as we can move forward to next process. Thanks to Eden Studio team in Beresfield who were very supportive and helpful in selection. If you have big bucks in pocket you will love the word “Upgrade” in every selection. But it depends on you whether you want upgrades or want to stick with standard.

At this stage, as I said we are just at preliminary stage so we can’t say how our build will turn out. At the moment we are very skeptical viewing the latest reviews. Let’s hope for best and hope I will turn out to be one of happy customer. I will review the progress of build and finally the quality of build after completion so that it will be helpful for other people who are considering Eden Brae for their build. Hope for best build.
